At dinner.

Georgia had prepared a beautiful tribute from the groom's family and especially to celebrate his friendship with Stella and Richard.

"Charlie, we know you won't abandon us, but this is the time for us to say goodbye to an era anyway" Richard says, he and Stella give a speech to Charlie who is at the table next to Marni.

"As our older brother, you were one of our greatest educators in this life, you have always been our example of strength, courage and now love" Stella smiles gently at her brother.

"But our friendship always continues, and now even stronger, and Marni we are happy that you are part of this" Richard says, Marni smiles and Charlie kisses her cheek.

"But to prove that even though our lives have taken different paths, our essence is still the same...we chose a song for you" Stella says.

"No way!" Charlie says, he gets up and goes to them "Our song Bro!" Richard says.

"Damn, we don't have a song" Will complains to Marni and Ben "Ben's fault" Marni says "What!?" Ben says "yeah, you never liked the same songs as us" Marni says.

"it's not my fault if your taste in music is terrible" Ben says, Will punches him in the arm, Ben rolls his eyes and starts paying attention to Stella and the brothers.

They sing and hug each other, knowing the lyrics of the song by heart, it was a song that was their favorite for a long time.

Ben gets lost in his own thoughts, watching Stella close her eyes and sing the song, lost in the rhythm with her brothers.

Ben smiles slightly, when the song ends and another begins Charlie calls Marni and the rest of the guests to the dance floor.

Stella, already a little tired from the previous dance, goes to her table and grabs a glass of wine, Ben takes a deep breath and goes to her.

"Why did you take off the necklace?" Ben asks, Stella looks at him "let's just say your buckle kind of ruined it" Stella smiles sarcastically, Ben chuckles.

"it makes sense, like owner like buckle they say" Stella rolls her eyes, Ben laughs "I love your sense of humor" Ben says gently, Stella frowns.

Ben looks at her and holds out his hand "do you want to dance?" Ben asks, Stella looks at his hand and then at his face, she gasps indignantly and laughs "No" Stella smiles sarcastically putting the glass in his hand and leaving.

Ben's gentle expression disappears in a second, changing to a questioning look, he turns to her.

"excuse me!?" Ben says as she leaves "I said no" Stella says she leaves.

Ben frowns and looks at the glass in his hand, he finishes drinking the wine in the glass and puts it aside following Stella.

Ben follows her to the restaurant kitchen.

"May I ask what happened?" Ben asks irritated "I know where you were going with that talk" Stella says.

Ben rolls his eyes

"I just asked you to dance" Ben says "And I rejected it, Did you like the feeling!?" Stella says.

"You're so short" Ben says "me!?" Stella says "why don't you leave that behind?" Ben says "You would never understand the humiliation you put me through" Stella says.

"Oh so what, you fell on a cake and the little kids laughed at you, big deal!" Ben says, Stella pushes him "You're such an idiot!!" Stella says.

"I really am because I thought things were finally changing between us!" Ben says angrily "Things will NEVER change between us!" Stella says.

"I wanted so much for you to feel what I felt, I would laugh so hard" Stella says approaching him "If that's your goal, go ahead!" Ben says with an irritated face.

"I will, you need to taste it!" Stella says "I doubt it" Ben says, Stella sees a tray of cupcakes on the table next to them.

"No, you really need to taste it!" Stella says irritated, rubbing the whipped cream from the cupcake on his face, Ben gasps.

Stella "That's all that was left because humiliated, you already are!" Stella says, Ben takes a deep breath

"You..." Ben says irritated, wiping his face, Stella smirks "You really deserve it" Ben takes a cake and puts it on her face too, Stella looks at him irritated.

Stella takes a step back and takes the cake out of her hair, "I hate you!" Stella says "How many times do I need to say sorry!?" Ben says, Stella takes another cupcake and throws it at him.

"I will never forgive you why you insist so much on not leaving me alone!?" Stella says, Ben throws another cupcake at her, they get into a food fight.

"Because I don't want to!!" Ben says holding her "Then admit it!!" Stella screams.

"That meant something to me!" Ben says, Stella stops and looks at him in surprise "I'm sorry for being an idiot and messed up!" Ben says irritated.

Stella shakes her head, Ben sighs and starts to let go of her arm that he was holding tightly.

"if you're lying to me I'll..." Stella is interrupted when Ben wipes part of the whipped cream from her mouth with his thumb and uses the same hand to bring her face close to his.

He quickly connects their lips in a firm kiss, Stella's breathing quickens quickly but in a sigh she lets herself go in his arms, losing her train of thought.

Stella hugs his neck, Ben eases the kiss and licks some whipped cream that was near her mouth.

Stella feels the sweet taste on his lips, as he hugs her waist tightly and their lips move in perfect sync.

Ben breaks the kiss without moving his face away, Stella breathes quickly, slowly opening her eyes to meet his.

Before either of them could say anything, the cook arrives in the kitchen "Hey!!!" He says irritated.

Ben lets go of Stella's face and looks at the cook "what do you think you're doing? This isn't a playground!!" The cook says irritated.

"Get out of here before I call security!" The cook shouts "sorry sir" Stella says "We didn't mean to" Ben says,Stella agrees and the two leave the kitchen in silence.

Luckily the restaurant was close to the beach and there was a shower nearby, which they used to just splash water on their faces to remove the traces of cake.

Not a word was spoken from the kitchen.

Stella takes the cake out of her hair, Ben leans against the wall "I was an asshole" Ben sighs, Stella looks at him.

"If you think it never bothered me one bit you're wrong, I can't tell you anything now that I regret more than doing that to you that day" Ben says.

"Even for a little boy that was really bad... it sucks because I ruined something that could have gone really well" Ben says irritated, Stella looks down.

"But it was unforgivable, it was bad'" Ben says upset, Stella shakes her head.

"Hey!! There you are!" Jenna appears "Oh what happened to you?" Jenna asks "An accident" Stella says, Ben looks away.

"the cars have arrived, we're going home" Jenna says, Stella looks at Ben who takes a deep breath and leaves, leaving Stella behind in thought.
