Three months later and it was the day I was leaving to go on tour. Ember and I had been preparing for this. I was sure we'd be fine, but that didn't make leaving her any easier.
"I'm going to miss you" She said from my bed as I shoved clothes into my suitcase.
"I'm going to miss you too." I said standing up and sitting next to her on my bed. "I don't sleep when you're not in bed with me. It feels too empty." I said frowning.
"You'll figure it out, Hannie" She said smiling at me, but it didn't reach her eyes like it usually does.
"I know, but I don't want to have to." I said kicking my suitcase. Usually, I loved going on tour. I loved being in a bunch of different places, but this time. I wanted to be anywhere she was and that was Korea.
I heard a knock on my door and Changbin stuck his head in, "Please tell me you guys have clothes on" He said with a hand over his eyes.
"Seriously?" I said telling him we were dressed.
"Ah, ok cool" He said opening his eyes. "Chan said we're leaving in thirty minutes. The car will be here to take us to the airport."
"Ok." I said sadly and looked back at Ember as Binnie closed the door. "I wish you could come to the airport with me." I pouted.
"Me too." She said sadly as I closed up my suitcase. I had shoved every single last bit of things I could possibly need into it and now it was refusing to close easily. In fact we both had to sit on try to zip it.
"Honestly, Hannie, I don't think you packed enough." She said sarcastically as we both finally got it zipped.
"Me either" I said honestly thinking about what else I might need.
"That was a joke. You packed too much, dude." She joked.
"Oh" I said still in thought over making sure I got all my chargers and enough clothes. "My laptop!" I yelled realizing I'd forgotten one of the most important things...besides underwear of course.
"LET'S GO!" I heard Chan yell from the living room as I grabbed my laptop and shoved it into my carry-on.
Ember jumped slightly from the sudden loud noise and looked at me sadly. I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her while she kept her arms down at her sides and laid her head down on my chest.
"It's ok, Em. I'll be back before you know it. We lived for years in separate countries. We can do a couple months, ok?"
I felt her nod her head as she half heartedly put her hands on my hips. "Come back in one piece ok?" She asked muffled.
"I promise. I won't lose a limb while I'm gone" I joked. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes and I pulled in her for the last kiss I was gonna get for the next couple months. God, I was going to miss her. I'd never gone on tour while dating anyone and this was a whole new experience for me, for both of us. Especially since it was her, and how much I loved her.
"I love you." She sniffed wiping a tear off of her face.
"I love you" I whispered to her kissing her one more time before I grabbed my bag and left the apartment following the rest of the guys. Ember had wanted to stay upstairs, she didn't want to watch us drive away. I could understand why. She was trying to make it feel like we were just going to practice or to get food.

I had been talking myself into believing this wouldn't be that hard for months, but it was so much harder then I thought. I thought about her every second of every day while I was gone. I didn't sleep well most nights, but the best part of any day was when I got to facetime her or call her. I loved hearing her voice.
"HANNIE!" she yelled when she answered the video call. She looked really pretty today. She was wearing one of my shirts that I had given her to wear while I was gone. She had her hair pulled up into a high ponytail, and her cheeks were just slightly flushed.
"Hey!" I said smiling at her. We'd just finished a show so I knew it was really late where she was, but usually on our video call nights she'd stay up later to talk to me if she had to. "I miss you, baby" I mumbled laying down on my bed and putting a hand behind my head.
"What'd you do today?" She asked laying down in her bed.
"The usual. Interviews in the morning, sound check, another interview, a break and then the show." I said recounting the events of my day. I was exhausted to be honest. We'd been going non-stop for a couple weeks now. "I'm just really tired and I miss you."
"I miss you too, Hannie" She said smiling. "You'll be back home before you know it."
She was always so positive about my absence, when she was talking to me at least. One night I called her and I could see she'd been crying. I pretended I didn't notice and she pretended she hadn't been.
"Your birthday is next month, it sucks you're going to be gone." She mumbled suddenly sad. It did suck that she wouldn't be around for my first birthday since we got together.
"I know. I wish you could be there. It's not like I'll have much time anyway. We have a show that night, the day will be filled with stuff to do." I shrugged.
"Yeah, that's right." She said sadly.
"Don't be sad, Em" I said wanting to give her a hug. "I wish I could be there to cheer you up."
"I'm not sad" she lied, I could see it in her face when she said it.
"I don't believe you" I smiled trying to cheer her up.
"Ok, fine. Yeah, I'm a little sad." She said smiling to herself.
We talked for another hour before she really had to go to bed. I plugged my phone in to charge, and tried to go bed. Sleeping without her was even harder then I thought. I already knew it'd be an adjustment, but it was a lot harder than I had anticipated. I laid there in my bed trying to turn off my brain so that I could try to sleep, but I could only think of her. I rolled over for the fifth time that night and closed my eyes, thinking of that last night with her before I left.
We'd spent the entire day together. We ordered in pizza, we watched movies, we took a shower, and even made dinner together. Not to mention the things we did once we were done with dinner. I closed my eyes tighter and then opened them again, the memories of that night being blinked away in an instant.
Frustrated I rolled over yet again and put a pillow on top of my head. Maybe the pillow will block her out and let me sleep a few hours. "Nope" I said pulling the pillow off of my face and taking some deep breaths. This happened every single night. EVERY NIGHT. It was worse though on the nights I talked to her. It made her fresh in my mind and caused my brain to keep me awake. An hour later and I finally managed to get myself thinking about bananas and fell asleep.
***
One month later and it was my birthday. The first birthday that I wasn't really interested in. I wanted to just get through the day, do what I needed to do, and go to bed. Just like a lot of days lately. There were two weeks left of the tour and I was anxious to get home, because for once there was someone waiting for me.
My eyes felt stuck together that morning after yet another night of horrible sleep. You'd think I'd be constantly exhausted, but I was actually feeling ok. Maybe my body was getting used to horrible sleep. I peeled myself from the bed and walked into the shower without really even keeping my eyes open. Not sure how that happened, but it did. I stood there with my hands against the shower wall and my head down under the warm water.
In my head I went over what I knew was going to be in my schedule today. Interviews. Sound check. Interview. Break. Show. Just like every show day. Interview. Sound check. Interview. Break. Show. I was repeating it in my head like a mantra at this point.
After getting ready for the day I went down to Chan's room to bother him. Someone had to keep me awake.
"Chan?" I asked as I knocked, I heard him walk towards the door.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HANNIE!" He yelled giving me a huge hug. Out of shock I just stood there awkwardly with my arms at my sides until he pulled away.
"Uh, hey" I said not sure what to say. "Can we just pretend it's not my birthday?" I said calmly. It felt wrong to try and celebrate when Ember was so far away.
"Aw, cheer up. We've got a whole celebration planned!" Chan said excitedly as Felix and Jeongin came to the door and smiled at me.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" They said in unison with a cake shaped like a squirrel as the rest of the members came out too. Oh god, they're gonna do this all day. I forced a smile and blew out the lit candle. "great" I mumbled shoving my hands into my jean pockets.
"Aww, cheer up buddy!" Minho joked sarcastically as he saw my face. I forced another smile and came up with a lame excuse to leave the room. I could see them all looking at each other as I left. Today was going to be more difficult then I thought.

Chan
I watched Jisung leave and took a deep breath. "This is going to be more difficult then I thought" I said.
"He'll feel better when she's here." Minho said.
"When does her flight get in again?" Jeongin asked looking at Chan.
"Noon. A car will pick her up and bring her to the venue." I said taking a deep breath.
"Good. Cause he's just depressing right now" Felix said setting the cake down on a table, only to have Changbin cut a piece immediately after. "Don't eat that! Jisung gets the first piece."
Changbin rolled his eyes and cut a second piece and ate that one. "Happy?" Felix rolled his eyes in frustration.
"Any chance she can get here sooner?" Seungmin asked crossing his arms. "Cause he's gonna be weird to be around until then"
"Psh, he's been weird to be around for the last month." Hyunjin chimed in as they all started leaving the hotel room.
***
I wondered down the hall towards the elevators and headed down to the lobby. I knew the rest of them were probably upset with me, but I couldn't help how I felt. My birthday didn't feel like my birthday without her here with me.
We did interviews as soon as we got to the venue, then followed it up with sound check. Then Chan told me we had the rest of the afternoon off until the show that night. In honor of my birthday. Great. More celebrating.
Chan kept looking at his watch and texting as we got back to the backstage area. Around 12:30 he poked Minho in the side with his elbow and they both left the room. I put my headphones in my ears and turned on music, trying to block them all out. I had my head back against the couch with my eyes closed when I felt someone poke me in the shoulder. "Leave me alone" I mumbled, but they poked at me again. Feeling surly, I opened my eyes and saw Ember standing there in front of me. I suddenly ripped the air pods from ears and jumped up from my seat with the biggest smile on my face. It felt like my face was going to split in half I was smiling so big.
"EMBER!" I yelled as I pulled her in towards me.
"Hi, Hannie." She whispered in my ear. "I missed you." She said quietly, only meant for me to hear. I took a deep breath and just kept my arms around her, whispering into her shoulder.
"I missed you" I whispered, trying to keep my composure.
"Happy Birthday" She said as I kept my arms around her and then pulled away far enough to kiss her.
"What are you doing here?!" I asked excitedly, still not letting her go.
"Chan and Minho wanted me to come. They said you've been down and I didn't want you to be sad on your birthday." She smiled getting on her toes and kissing me as the rest of them whistled and hooted in the back ground. I put my head down on her shoulder again and just soaked it all in like a sponge. She was here. Everything was good now. I'm good now.
"I'm so glad you're here." I said bringing my head back up and kissing her on the forehead brining her in for another hug and kissing her with everything I had.
"Ok, that's enough you two. You're making me sick" Hyungjin complained from the back of the room. I shook my head and rolled my eyes not even looking in his direction.
Going into the show that night, I was pumped. I put on the show of my life. I was back from my medical issues, I had my girl backstage waiting for me, and it was my birthday. I even managed to remember all of my lyrics. Which honestly made me pretty proud of myself. The crowd sang Felix and I happy birthday as yet another squirrel cake and a chicken cake was brought out on stage for us to blow out the candles. I thanked the crowd for being with me through everything the last few months, and how amazing they were.
Once the show was over, and we got back to the hotel, I didn't want Ember to be any more then a couple feet away from me. I actually just held onto her hand and didn't let go. When we got into the room, I immediately kissed her and held her close to me, walking her towards the bed and both of us falling onto it clumsily. She flipped us over and straddled me and she pulled off my shirt and hers followed. I reached behind her and undid the clasp of her bra, throwing that somewhere. I flipped us over again and started on her jeans, pulled them off revealing lacy black underwear underneath. She reached up and unbuttoned my pants as I stood for a moment and peeled them off of me. When I laid back down I had no patience for foreplay.
She took control after that and I let her. It was my birthday after all. She rolled us over again and kissed down my chest before she licked me and took me into her mouth. I threw my head back as I let out some kind of strangled moan at how good it felt. She had one hand on either of my thighs and sucked before she'd stop and swirl her tongue around me. It felt so good that I felt like I was going to finish before I even got to be inside her.
"Em, oh god" I choked out as she kept going, seeming to know how close I was. She stopped suddenly and moved back up into my lap. She lowered herself down on to me and it was the best feeling on the planet. She kissed me and moved herself up and down on me, bucking her hips as I moved my hips with her. She started making those sounds I loved to hear the most. The ones where she'd make them in my ear as she held her chest close to mine. I moved a hand to her breast as I took the other one in my mouth. She backed up slightly to give me more room as she increased her pace.
I felt her start to orgasm, clenching down around me and it's what drove me over the edge. I finished shortly after she did and then I laid back against the bed and she did too. I pulled the covers up over us as she laid there with a satisfied smile on her face.
"Mmmm" She said as she rolled over and cuddled up next to me.
"Happy birthday to me." I said joking. She opened her eyes and looked sideways at me with a sarcastic look on her face.
"I got you a present by the way." She said closing her eyes again.
"It's you, right?" I said smiling over at her.
"Haha, I don't count. I'm a special bonus" she said wrapping an arm around my waist and snuggling up to me. Damn, I
was gonna sleep like a rock tonight.
"When are you leaving?" I asked realizing she probably wasn't staying for long. I hated that right now, after what we just did, it was all I was thinking about.
"Don't worry about that right now, Hannie" She mumbled.
"No, I wanna know how much time I have with you before you leave." I said sadly. I wasn't going to be able to rest until she told me.
"Thursday" She said looking up at me unsure.
Damn, only two days from now. "Ah" I said trying to hide my diappointment.
"There's only two shows left after I leave. You'll be home soon. One week left after I leave." She said trying to reassure me. I nodded my head and smiled down at her trying not to look sad. "Don't looks so sad" She said swatting at me playfully.
"It's not so much that. It's just I don't sleep when you're not in my bed. It takes me hours to fall asleep and even if I do, I wake up all night." I said.
"You'll be home soon and I'll be there to help you sleep ok? I don't sleep as well either. My bed feels too big and too empty." She said rolling on her stomach and laying her arm across my chest.
"We really don't survive well when we're apart anymore" I laughed. I used to be able to go days without talking to her. Not anymore.
"No, not anymore." She laughed. "Lemme get your present." She said jumping up off the bed and going to her suitcase, she took one of the blankets with her. I propped myself up on my elbows and watched her move across the room with a blanket wrapped around her small frame. She kneeled down in front of her suitcase and rummaged through it until she pulled out a present in red wrapping paper. She knew it was my favorite color.
"Here!" She said waddling back over the bed and snuggling back down under the blankets. She smiled at me as I shook it and tried to guess what it was. "Oh just open it, Jisung" She said staring daggers at me, but quickly breaking into a smile.
I carefully peeled the paper back from the gift and inside was a silver necklace with a small black and silver bead. "Look through it." She said smiling.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Hold it up to the light and look through it." She said pointing.
I held it up to the light and it was the first picture we ever took together as friends at school. I was carrying her on my back and she had her arms wrapped around my neck and her face was next to mine. We were both smiling happily. I remember trying not drop her. I was the lankiest, weakest guy in high school, even though she was very petite and tiny back then.
"Aw, Em. That's a good picture. I'll never take it off." I joked at her as she helped me put the necklace on.
"I love it, thank you." I said setting the box on the night stand and laying back down in bed pulling her close. She may only be here for a couple days, but I was going to make the most of them.
***
The next morning came more quickly then I would have liked. At least I slept well. I woke up on my stomach and Ember was asleep partly on my back. Didn't seem like a comfortable position for her, but this girl could sleep standing up if she was tired enough. I slowly rolled onto my side and moved her gently trying not to wake her up. I faced her and brushed hair away from her face, watching her sleep.
Her eyelashes just barely brushed against her cheeks, and her face was adorable the way it was smooshed against the pillow. She had one hand curled up under her chin and the other was down by her side. As I played with her hair she slowly woke up and saw me watching her.
"Stahp." She mumbled, still not fully awake.
I playfully pinched her cheek and she knocked my hand away. I laughed and put a hand on her hip.
"Good morning, sunshine" I said smiling at her grumpy face.
"No" She mumbled again rolling over trying to ignore me and fall back asleep.
"Oh come on. I have the day off. I wanna spend it with you." I said spooning her and holding her close to me.
"Then schleep in" She said muffled. I shrugged my shoulders and held her closer like she was going to slip away. I really didn't want her to leave.
I put my head back down on my pillow and closed my eyes, and was drifting back into a sound sleep.
"WAKE UP, HANNIE!" I heard a loud bang on the door instantly opening my eyes back up thirty seconds later.
I heard Ember groan in her sleep when I got up and threw on some sweatpants. I opened the door to see Jeongin standing there looking too bright eyed. Like he'd been up for hours at this point.
"WAKE UP!" He said again.
"why?" I mumbled rubbing my eyes from the bright light in the hallway.
"It's Felix's birthday! We need to surprise him with cake." the maknae said happily.
"Oh yeah. Hang on." I said closing the door and trying to wake myself up so I didn't look like I'd just rolled out of bed. I went through my suitcase and tried to find something not wrinkled. I got dressed and threw on a hat, kissed Ember on the temple whispering I'd be back. I opened the door again and followed Jeongin down the hall to Felix's room where the rest of the members were standing.
"Don't drop the cake." Hyunjin said quickly to Changbin. We'd never let him live that down, dropping that cake was priceless. Minho stood there with baloons in his hand frowning.
"Why do I have to hold the balloons? I'm not a balloon person." He complained.
"Hey, I didn't get balloons" I pouted. Chan looked at me with a smirk on his face.
"No, you got your girlfriend. You don't get both" He laughed. I guess he had a point. She was better then any kind of balloons.
Seungmin knocked on Felix's door and when he opened it we all screamed happy birthday. He looked like he'd been sound asleep too. He rubbed his eyes and invited us all in as he laughed.
We held out the chicken shaped cake as he blew out the candle. "Well, that's a new cake idea" He said shaking his head. Somehow the others had gotten him a cake shaped like a raw chicken.
"Yeah, we wanted to be realistic this year." Seungmin said proudly. He must've been the one who ordered the cake.
We all gave him the gift we'd all chipped in for and then he kicked us out so he could go back to sleep, somehow managing to keep a smile on his face the whole time. Since it was only seven am, we all went back to our rooms and went back to sleep.
I went back to my room and Ember hadn't moved a muscle. I stripped back down to my boxers and crawled back into bed. I pulled her back into my arms and she made happy little noises and she snuggled down in my arms. I smiled too as I drifted back into a sound sleep.
***
Ember's stomach growling is what woke us both up by ten o'clock.
"Put food in your stomach, please" I mumbled into her neck, trying to pretend I was going to sleep all day. She laughed and rolled over to face me. I still had my eyes closed and an arm around her waist.
She ruffled my already messed up hair, "Let's order room service" she said trying to really wake me up.
"Food" I mumbled, starting to wake up and think about what I wanted to eat.
"Yes, Hannie, food." She joked when I finally opened my eyes.
I reached out for her when she got up and threw on one of my shirts as she walked over to the food service menu.
"Come backkkk" I whined.
"I'm right here, weirdo. I'm right next to you." She said making fun of me. I rolled over and looked at her as she picked up the phone and ordered food for us both.
"Come back now please" I whined again when she hung up the phone. "I'm cold" I complained.
When did this girl ever not looking gorgeous? Right now her hair was a little messy, she was wearing one my shirts, she was smirking at me with a hand on her hip. Her skin was a beautiful creamy color and her cheeks were slightly flushed.
"C'mere, beautiful" I said more seriously. She could never resist me when I called her that.
"Oh fine...but you're the one getting up and getting the food when it gets here." she said crawling back into bed and sitting up against the pillows. She grabbed her phone from the night stand and started to scroll while pulling the blankets up over her legs and I put my head in her lap and closed my eyes. This was my happy place. Anywhere with her was my happy place.
She absentmindedly ran her fingers through my hair and before I knew it there was a knock on the door from room service. I wasn't fully conscious, but I felt her get out of bed carefully putting my head down on the bed before she grabbed the food and shook me awake.
"Hannie, food" She smiled. I opened my eyes halfway, not really wanting to as she handed me a plate of the best smelling food I'd ever smelled.
"My god, what is that?! It smells amazing." I said my eyes snapping the rest of the way open and she laughed. I looked down at my plate and it was a huge slice of pizza. Of course, my girl loves her pizza no matter what time of day it was.
This however was literally the best pizza I'd ever had. The crust was a little crunchy, the cheese was perfect, the sauce. I had never had pizza that I wanted to savor every single last bite of.
"Holy crap" She moaned as she downed two slices in thirty seconds flat. I laughed, it sounded like she was enjoying herself quite a bit with every bite. I grabbed another piece and ate it slowly laughing to myself as she kept her eyes closed and threw her head back slightly when she was chewing.
"Enjoying yourself?" I asked looking at her across the table.
"I'm at peace with my life. All is good. I can die now." She joked sarcastically.
I laughed back at her as I got up and stood behind her. I kissed the top of her head moving to brush her hair out of the way of her neck. I kissed her neck and put my hands on either of her shoulders.
"I know what you're doing." She mumbled moving her head to the side to encourage what I was doing.
"Mm, oh yeah?" I mumbled.
"I'll hit you with my pizza." She said as she took the last bite of her slice and wiped her hands on a napkin.
"Mmmhmm" I mumbled still kissing along her neck and shoulder. Finally she stood up and wrapped her arms around my neck. "Hi" I said smiling at her. Somehow we ended up standing there swaying to music that wasn't playing. She reached up on her toes and kissed me gingerly as we moved. After a short time she put her arms down around my waist and I held her close to me and closed my eyes. Just soaking in how good it felt to have her here with me. I had slept so good last night that it felt like eight hours flew by in ten minutes.
She kissed me again and I picked her up and gently laid her down on the bed, her head against the pillows. I ran my fingers along the hem of the shirt and kissed her stomach, before I lifted the shirt over her head. She pushed my boxers down off my hips and I kissed her neck, shoulder and collarbones, moving one hand down to her core. I slipped two fingers inside of her hearing her gasp in pleasure. I moved my fingers in an out reaching that special spot every time. She groaned as I took one breast in my mouth flicking her nipple with my tongue.
Slowly I pulled both fingers out of her and lined myself up with her entrance. I pushed myself in and gently laid down on top of her, propping myself up with one hand on either side of her. I slowly started to roll my hips into her and I picked up the pace. The moans coming from her made me even more hard for her. She was so tight around me I buried my face again in her neck as she put a hand on my shoulder, and the other putting scratches down my back. I could feel her getting close and it almost pushed me over the edge. She looked me in the eye as I bucked my hips into her again and I came just as she did.
Tired, I laid on top of her chest and listened to her heartbeat. It was fast as she caught her breath. I closed my eyes and she ran her fingers through my hair. "mm" I mumbled with a contented smile on my face. When I moved to lay next to her she pulled me close to her so I could still hear her heartbeat. It was slower now, more relaxed.
"I love you." I said into her chest happily.
"love you" She said back cradling my head against her chest.
"There was a time a few months ago where I didn't think I'd survive long enough to get to really spend time with you." I said thinking back to when I was in the hospital. The pain had been so burning and searing that even just my hair moving made the pain worse.
"Me too" She admitted quietly, "I was so worried you wouldn't make it. Your mom was convinced you were going to die. That didn't help" She mumbled.
"I'm glad it all worked out." I said as I put an arm around her waist. She pulled the blankets up over me and we took a nap. I think we were both just catching up on the sleep we didn't get when we were apart. We ended up sleeping for another four hours. By the time we got up it was five pm and the sun was starting to set already.
We spent the rest of the night watching horror movies and we ordered popcorn from room service. I sat back against the pillows of the bed and she sat between my legs leaning back against my chest. She'd feed me popcorn over her shoulder and I played with her hair.
I think the other members knew they wouldn't see me today, and I think Felix understood I'd be absent from his birthday festivites. If there were any. So they stayed away from my room and entertained themselves. Today was all about Ember and I, spending as much time together as we could before she left Thursday night. I had a flight Friday morning for Japan and the last stop on the tour. I couldn't wait to get back home and have her around me every day. I'd missed our every day life.
***
Thursday night rolled around and I was sitting on the end of the bed and watching her pack up her things. Now I knew how she felt when I left. I was down. I was sad to see her go.
"Buck up, Jisung. You'll be home soon." She said walking past me.
"I'm trying, but maybe you can pack me in your suitcase. No one will know I'm gone." I joked trying to force a smile.
"I think when they realize the ace of k-pop is missing they'll notice." She exaggerated.
"Psh, ace of k-pop. What fan sites have you been reading?" I asked rolling my eyes. She crawled up the bed and sat on my lap and held my face in her hands forcing me to look at her.
"You are an amazingly talented person, Jisung. You deserve that name." She said kissing my nose. I laughed and tried to swat her away.
"You're my person." I said holding her close to me.
"You're my person too. Now help me with my bag. I can't zip it." She said standing up and sitting on top of the suitcase.
Apparently, we both have an issue with packing too much.
I wasn't allowed to go with her to the airport, so I kissed her goodbye and she left. The hotel room felt incredibly empty and it made me happy to know I was leaving in the morning. One more stop and I'd be home with two full weeks off to spend with her.
After she left, there was a knock on my door. Trying not to be sad I answered it to see Chan standing there with my plane ticket for the morning.
"Hey, here" he said handing it to me. "Don't lose it this time, ok?" He said laughing at me.
"Yeah, I'll try not to."
"You doing ok? I saw her leave."
"I'll be fine. Just feels kinda empty in here. That's all" I said looking down.
"Come to my room. We're gonna watch some movies, play some games, and hang out. We haven't done that with all eight of us in ages." He said pointing down the hall to his room.
"Yeah, that sound good actually. I'll be down in a few minutes." I nodded and closed the door. At least I wouldn't have to spend tonight alone in this room.
***
"NOOO!" Minho yelled as he lost for the third time in Mario Party.
"HAHA! I'm the MASTER!" Felix said throwing down his controller and strutting through the room. Seungmin stood there and stared at his partner Minho pretending to be really angry. While Felix and I did a high five and danced like idiots around the room.
"DUDUDU WE WON." I said moving my hips around and shaking my butt awkwardly.
"Ugh" Seungmin said being a sore loser and sitting down, throwing his controller onto the couch.
"NEXT!" Felix said as Hyunjin and Jeongin stepped up and took the controllers from Seungmin and Minho.
"Prepare to DIE" Hyunjin said as he pretended to stretch and prepare himself for a win. "Alright, let's go!"
Thirty minutes later and we'd lost our three game winning streak. Jeongin beat me and reached the end and won.
"Aw, man" I said disappointed pretending to cry. "we've lost!" I yelled at Felix who all was pretending to cry.
"We've lost, all is lost!" He yelled back at me as we goofed around.
"Alright, alright, enough. You two are so dramatic." Chan said laughing as he and Changbin brought the food we ordered into the room. Like dogs who want a treat we followed him to the dinette and sat down shoving food in our mouths like it was our last day alive.
"Didn't Em leave today?" Changbin asked from across the table with his mouth full.
"She did, but we've got just about a week left, then we'll be home." I said happily. Hanging out with my brothers was always a good time, and I wondered why we all hadn't done this earlier in the tour. It probably would've cheered me up
sooner.
"Good. We're glad you're feeling better." Chan said as he smacked Jeongin on the hand with chopstick for stealing one of his dumplings.
"Getting laid will do that" Changbin chimed in. We all stopped shoving our food into our mouths for a moment staring at him in silence.
"Damn right." I said before we all started laughing really hard. Including him.
After we had finished every single last bit of food that we'd ordered, we sat down on the couches and watched a couple movies. Eventually we all fell asleep on top of each other. I was happy I had them. They weren't just my group members to me, they were part of my family. We all may come from different places, and different walks of life, but we came together to create a family.
I slept really well that night, it turns out I just don't like sleeping alone these days. Having literally anyone there with me helped me sleep. Chan's alarm went off the next morning with some ungodly alarm tone that no one should ever be allowed to use. Changbin jumped up and Felix and Minho fell on the floor hitting their heads on the coffee table.
"SHIT" I heard Felix yell, opening my eyes to see he was bleeding from a cut on his forehead.
"Ouch" I mumbled trying to sit up before realizing I was almost completely on top of Jeongin and he probably couldn't breathe. Chan popped up right away, probably awake even before the alarm went off. He pulled Felix up off the floor and yanked him into the bathroom to fix his head.
"I hit my head toooo" Minho said sleepily watching Chan go with Felix to fix his head.
I got up as everyone else was starting to wake up. I headed back to my room, took a shower, got ready and headed back out to the rest of the members gathering in the hall.
Felix now had a bandaid on his forehead and a beanie to try and cover it up. "Ouch" I said pointing at his head laughing.
"Oh shut it." He said, "It actually really hurts" He said not able to hold a straight face. "Changbin attacked me" He said smiling over at him.
"I did not!" He yelled back as Minho walked past him rubbing the back of his head.
"Yeah? I've got a massive bump on the back of my head. Pretty sure that wasn't there before." He mumbled.
"Maybe you guys should get checked out. I've heard of people dying of stuff like that" Seungmin said as he walked past Minho and Felix.
"Thanks, Min. That really helps. I'm about to get on an airplane." Minho said rolling his eyes.
I stood off to the side watching Minho try not to airfry Seungmin and Changbin avoiding them both because deep down he felt bad.

As we all got off the plane in Tokyo, Minho and Felix were still alive. So that was good. We got in the car to our hotel, and I set my bag down in the last dang hotel room I'd have to see on this tour. Ember and I really had to work something better out next time I tour. The next one could be twice as long and I couldn't be miserable every time we go. Maybe it was just because this was the first time.
I dug my phone out of my pocket and called her to let her know I got in ok.
"Hey, Hannie" She said tired.
"Were you sleeping? I didn't mean to wake you up, baby" I said smiling at how cute she looked.
"It's ok. My sleep schedule is just a little weird. Jet lag." She said sitting up. "I'd rather talk to you then sleep anyway." She smiled.
"We got to Tokyo! One last show and I'll be home." I said smiling at her.
"You look happy." She smiled.
"I am happy. I miss you already, but I'm happy we got a couple days together." I said laying down on the bed. It was late already.
"You'll be home before you know it. Now go out tomorrow and do an amazing show!" She said happily, I think she was starting to wake up.
"I'll see you soon, Em. Love you." I said with a huge grin on my face.
"Love you too, I'm going back to sleep now." She laughed.
"Sleep well, baby" I said as we both hung up the phone. I opened the curtains in my room and had a perfect view of the sun setting. I couldn't help but stand there and think about how damn lucky I was. What did I do in a past life that got me where I am? I'm an idol. My life dream came true, my dream girl is in love with me, and I have seven of the best friends I could ask for.
