Four years later...

"I'm gonna ask Ember to marry me." I said to Chan one night as we sat on the patio to the apartment Ember and I shared.

"I knew that would be coming sometime soon." He laughed.

"I need your help." I said nervously. He looked over at me confused. "You know that ring you got a few years ago for your mom?"

"Yeah. What about it?"

"I need to know where you got it made. I was looking at stores trying to find one, but they all look the same and I can't find one that Ember would like."

"Look at you going all custom!" He joked as Changbin came out on the patio.

"Who let you in?" I asked confused looking at him.

"I have a key. Remember?" He said holding it up. "What're we talking about?"  He asked sitting down.

"He wants to--"

"Get custom windows. For the apartment." I cut Chan off giving a fake smile. Suddenly Felix came out on the patio.

"Hey." He said sitting down.

"Why is everyone at my house right now?" I asked confused, but just as I was trying to think of a way to get them all to leave, Minho came out and sat down too. "My god, did someone send an invite to my house today? Why is everyone here?"

"You don't wanna see us, Hannie?" Seungmin asked as he came and took the last chair outside.

"I---don't even know what to say right now. Did you guys take a clown car over here or something?"

"Hyung! I brought food!" Jeongin said as he set down the food in the kitchen on his way out.

"Ok, what's happening?"

"Chan hyung said that you guys were celebrating. So we're all coming over. Didn't he tell you?"

"Oh did he? Chan hyung?" I said sarcastically throwing a glare in his direction.

"I'm HEEEEERRREEEE" Hyunjin said as he waltzed into the apartment.

"Give me your keys. All of you." I said quickly, "I'm revoking key access."

They all looked at each other confused and then glanced at Chan. "Don't look at me. I thought I was going to have a completely different discussion."

I looked at him and squinted "Exactly what conversation did you think we were going to be having, CHRISTOPHER?" I said sarcastically.

"Well, the one....the uh....the one where you uh....tell me...well, I mean..."

"SPIT IT OUT" I said slamming my hands down on the table.

"I thought you were gonna tell me Ember was uh.....with....child?" He said his entire face turning red.

"What the actual FUCK made you think I was going to tell you that?!" I asked still feeling a little in the dark. "Is there something you know that I don't?" I finished.

"I don't know!! You two have lived together for a while, all that privacy? I don't know!!" He laughed awkwardly and his face turned a shade of red I'd never seen.

"Soooo, should I not have made gender cookies?" Felix said breaking the silence as I stared at Chan in disbelief.

"NO!" I said my own face turning red and hoping that Ember wasn't coming home any time soon.

"I'll just go....put those somewhere....else." Felix said as he stood up and shoved the pink and blue cookies in the trash. Trying to cover them up with other trash to hide them.

"So what conversation DID you have?" Minho asked from the corner a slight smile on his face. He was enjoying my embarrassment.

"IT DOESN'T MATTER!" I said standing up. "Wait a minute." I turned back around and looked at Minho. "Is there something you know that I don't?" I walked slowly towards him as he kept a straight face and looked me in the eye.

"Nope" He said popping the p at the end.

I glared and squinted my eyes "Minhoooo....." I said slowly stepping towards him.

Changbin stood up and moved between Minho and I, "I don't think he knows anything, why don't you just go inside. I think Chan is still dying of embarrassment."

"I'M GONNA G---" I launched myself at Minho and Changbin and Hyunjin were trying to hold me back. Minho just sat there with a smirk on his face trying not to laugh. Trying so hard not to laugh.

"I'm serious, Jisung. I know nothing. I'm just messing with you." He broke down hysterically laughing.

"Better know nothing." I said fixing my shirt and going back inside. How the hell was I going to explain all the food and all of my group members in our house on a random Wednesday night.

"Oh just out with it, Jisung. He wants to ask Ember to marry him" Chan said letting the cat out of the bag.

"Damnit, Chan" I said stopping what I was doing. I didn't want them to know. That just increased the possiblity that one of them would 'accidentally' tell her.

"Our little Jisung is all grown up!" Felix said pretending to wipe a tear from his eye.

"I'm older than you." I said rolling my eyes.

"Yeah, by like three hours." He said laughing.

"If any of you say anything...I will hunt you down. She can't know. It'll ruin everything. Please just forget you heard anything." I said looking at Jeongin and pointing "ESPECIALLY YOU." and then pointed at Changbin "AND YOU!"

A month later and it was almost Christmas. Ember's favorite time of the year. We were out for a walk near the Han river, looking at the Christmas lights. I could feel the ring box in my pocket while I walked, hoping that she wouldn't notice how nervous I was.

Luckily, none of the other members had said anything, at least not that I knew of. Usually, they're pretty good at ratting each other out.

"Remember?" Ember said looking at me. I had been so into my own thoughts I had completely forgotten that she was even talking. Crap. What do I say?

"Yep. I do" I said smiling hoping she didn't notice.

"Were you even paying attention?" She said looking at me suddenly with her arms crossed. I laughed nervously.

"Sure I was!" I said trying to play it off. She wasn't buying it. "Sorry. I was thinking about something and I have no idea what you just said." I put my head down.

"That's what I thought." She said rolling her eyes and smiling at me. "You've been weird today. What's up with you anyway?"

Just as she asked we'd made it to the large tree I wanted to propose by. It was the same tree we spent the day by when

I'd gotten out of the hospital. We'd sat under the tree for quite a few hours just relaxing and soaking up the sun. It was a day when I had been feeling pretty down, not being able to do much with how crappy I had felt.

"Come here" I said grabbing her hand and pulling her gently towards the tree.

"Aww, I remember this spot." She said smiling, "I read to you and you fell asleep in my lap."

"Yep, you dragged me out of the house to get some vitamin D" I laughed looking out at the river with her.

"Ha! You looked so miserable, I had to do something." She said not taking her eyes off the water.

I took the opprotunity to get down on one knee. My heart was pounding in my chest as I took the small velvet box out of my pocket and opened it. Looking down at the ring I'd had made just for her.

I took a deep breath, "Hey, Em?" I asked and she turned to look at me. Jumping slightly when she saw what I was doing.

"Oh my god." She whispered looking at my face.

"You know you're the only girl I've ever loved. You've been with me through just about everything. You understand me in a way that no one else does. You're smart, you're kind, you're beautiful, and I can't imagine spending my life with anyone else but you. I want to have you with me through everything to come. Will you marry me?" I asked feeling my sweaty hands start to shake.

"Yes..." She breathed. She gave me her left hand and I slipped the ring on it before I stood up and she wrapped her arms around me. "I love you" She said in my ear.

"I love you, Ember. It'll always be you." I whispered back not wanting to let her go. She pulled away from me and had tears on her cheeks. "Oh, don't cry!" I said laughing and wiping her face.

"They're happy tears, Hannie" She said smiling.

When we got home, I laid her down on the bed like she was the most prescious thing in the world. I kissed every inch of her skin slowly taking off her clothes if they got in the way. As she laid under me, she ran her fingers along my skin, causing goosebumps to cover my body at her touch.

Pushing myself inside her and slowly rolling my hips. I looked in her eyes and It was the most I'd ever felt connected to another person. She put her forehead against mine and I buried my face into her neck, never stopping the movement of my hips. When I felt her start to tighten around me, I slowly sped up just enough to tease her. She moaned out my name and I felt myself getting closer and closer. When we both finally let go it was like I was seeing stars. Her eyes rolled back in her head and I kept moving until she was done too.

Afterwards, we didn't even need to speak. It was a comfortable loving silence. We cuddled up together and pulled the warm thick blankets over us. She snuggled her head into my chest and we closed our eyes and fell asleep. It was the best day of my life, and I'm pretty sure it was for her too.

Two years later...

We were cuddled up on the couch. We'd just finished watching a movie and the credits were rolling. That was when she decided to ask me.

"I know we talked about it...but, when do you think we could try for a baby?"

Of course we'd talked about it, but it had always been in a far off sense. It always started and ended with somday.

"Huh?" I asked still not fully processing what she meant.

"Don't 'huh?' me." She laughed shifting and looking at me.

"I mean, whenever we want I guess." I said still not processing that the 'somday' we always talked about might be here.

"Jisung. I'm asking you a serious question."

"I know, and I'm giving a serious answer. We've been married a couple years, my promotions have died down for a while. I'm ready when you are." I said looking her in the eye as everything clicked into place in my mind.

"I wanna have a family with you..." She said fully facing me. She sat on her legs and put her hands on my chest as she leaned in and kissed me. I didn't think she meant right this minute, but hey....why not? We both wanted it.

"Then let's have a baby..." I smiled widely as she sat herself down in my lap straddling my legs. I was nervous. I'd spent our entire relationship using condoms to prevent what we were about to do.

She cupped me through my jeans and I let my head drop back. She kissed my neck and I tangled my fingers in her hair and moaned her name. My pants were uncomfortably tight and she wasn't letting up. I pulled her shirt up and she took it off finally kissing me and pressing her chest up against mine as my shirt came off too.

I unhooked her bra and pulled the straps down her arms kissing just above her breast when she finally started to undo my jeans and take off my boxers too. She moved back towards me and I realized she hadn't been wearing anything else under the t-shirt she'd been wearing.

"Hey" I whispered between us. "You sure you wanna do this right now?" I asked. Just wanting to make sure she was aware of what we were doing.

She nodded her head, "Are you?" She smiled back at me. God, with a smile like that, I'd just from a building with no parachute.....and land on my feet and be perfectly fine. I'm not suicidal.

I nodded my head as she lowered herself down on top of me. She almost instantly fell towards my chest and put her head in my neck as I leaned back slightly to give her more room to move. She felt so good. I didn't think she could feel any better then she already did. She started moving up and down and I could feel everything. I could feel when I hit that spot deep inside her, I could feel how tight and wet she was, it almost overwhelmed my senses. I started making sounds I didn't think I'd ever made before, but she was too.

"I'm so close, Em" I whispered to her with my hand still tangled up in her hair. My other hand was on her hip pushing her down on to me as far as she could go. I could feel her legs start to quiver and get weak, so I helped her and pushed up towards her as she moved her hips and she threw her head back as she came, and a few moments later I came inside her.

Out of breath she leaned forward and put her head on my chest, with me still inside her. I leaned my head back against the couch and I tried to catch my breath.

"I can't move now" She said laughing. I started laughing too and she moved off of me and sat next to me. I stood up and carried her into the bedroom and laid her down in our bed. I laid down next to her and rubbed my palm along her arm while looking at her.

"I love you." I said kissing her forehead.
