Millie's POV

I woke up to someone shaking me, meaning to wake me up.

My eyes shot open and I was trying to breathe, but I couldn't. I looked around and it was still dark outside. The clock read 3:02. I looked at the person who woke me up, and he looked concerned.

"Just breathe, okay?" Finn said, and I nodded and tried to breathe. My hands were shaking, and I couldn't stop them.

I had a dream about Jacob and his friends, and what they did and what else they could've done. I'm terrified. I just want to sleep. I immediately started crying quietly, so nobody could wake up if they heard me. Finn looked at me and took my hands, trying to calm me down or comfort me.

"It's just a dream okay? It was just a dream." He said, getting up from kneeling on the ground and sat on the guest bed with me. Why am I on the guest bed? And everyone else on the ground and pullout couches? God knows.

He tries to pull me into a hug to calm me down, but my body starts shaking and I flinch away from him. He doesn't understand, so he tries to put his hand on my knee for comfort, but it makes me flinch even harder.

"Please don't touch me please don't touch me please don't," I managed to whisper through my cries. Why am I so sensitive right now? It was a dream, Millie. How does Finn know? How did he know you were in a nightmare.

"Okay I'm sorry. Do you..need anything?" He whispered, looking at me with severe concern.

"Why did you wake me up?" I asked, shaking, and he looked into my eyes.

"You were moaning. Like you were in pain or scared. I didn't want you to sleep through it, and I didn't want you to wake anyone up either." He said, and I nodded.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to." I said, trying to calm my nerves down. Finn noticed I did. He also noticed that if he touches me, he knows what will happen. He's lost, he doesn't know what to do.

"What happened in the dream?" He asked, and I shrugged.

"Just a nightmare." I said, and met his eyes. He knows I'm lying. But he's not pushing me to tell him. He knows I don't want to tell him.

"Okay. Do you want me to..stay? Or I can get back on the ground-

"You can stay." I said, and he nodded. I moved the blankets so he could get under, and we laid in our sides, facing each other. Not too close.

"What happened, Millie?" He whispered, knowing something is up. I avoided his eyes, and looked at his hair.

"Nothing important. I'm okay, I promise. Goodnight, Finn. Thank you.. for calming me down." I said, looking back into his eyes. His eyes never left mine. They were dark because the room was dark, but they aren't dark like they usually are. He cares.

"Dude, what happened last night?" Caleb asked, waking me up. I open my eyes and see everyone awake, except for Finn who's still on the bed with me. He's sleeping on the other side.

"I don't know, I was shitfaced by 11." Gaten said, and everyone else agreed. The only ones who didn't drink last night were Lilia Finn and I.

"Why are you and Finn both on that bed? Did y'all fuck last night?" Noah said, and the guys laughed, and my cheeks got red. The girls were interested in what Noah asked.

"No, we didn't. Shut up." I said, and they started teasing me. I heard Finn shift on the bed from the talking, and he opened his eyes and sat up. He looked around at everyone.

"What the fuck," he said, still looking tired. His hair was all over the place, and his shirt was all wrinkly. The girls laughed at him, and the guys cheered.

"Y'all hooked up last night while we were shitfaced!" Caleb said, and had the rest of the boys holler for him. I groan and lay back on the bed, and let Finn fight them. They know we didn't, but they want to tease.

Everyone was recovering from their hangover, so I just went on my phone and scrolled through stuff. I saw I got a lot of new followers. Just people from my school, interested in why I cut myself. That's nice. Jacob ended up telling me he told everyone, because he didn't think it was a big deal. I need to apologize to Finn. I look around and see everyone taking medicine to help the headache, and water. Finn and Lilia are sitting on the couch, on their phones.

"Did you guys want to stay over tonight too? There's nothing better to do, and we can use the hot tub tonight." Sadie said, and we all agreed. I wish I was as rich as this girl.

I ended up not eating breakfast when everyone else ate. I just didn't feel hungry. The whole day was basically just us talking, watching tv, and playing games. What else was there to do?

I did notice something about Lilia and Noah. They're acting quiet and shy towards each other. Since I can't get Lilia alone, I texted her.

What's up with you and Noah? I can tell.

lil: He made a move last night and tired to kiss me. I kissed him back, but I don't know if there's actual feelings. Maybe it was because he was drunk?

The only way to find out is to ask.

I'm not surprised they kissed. I had a feeling it would happen one day. I can see them in a relationship, but on the other hand it's iffy. I don't know. I support them, though. Always.

"It's tub time!" Gaten yelled, throwing his shirt on the floor. A sight I didn't need to see today. I laughed, and everyone went to go change. The guys were already in though, all they had to do was take their shirt off.

I had this black bikini. It had a triangle top, and tied in the back. The bottoms were just normal black bottoms. I looked at my body, and everything I hated about it. My arms. My legs are too sticky. I'm have a door figure. I'm pale. I don't want to go.

Sadie's POV

We all got in the hot tub. We have a pretty big one, it fits up to 16. So we're not smushed or anything. God, last night was rough. I don't remember shit after 11. Millie was taking forever to come out, so we just started talking and hanging out and stuff.

Millie came out, and I really wasn't phased. I turned to Finn for a split second, and saw him staring. I smiled, and kept watching him. As soon as he saw her, his eyes widened for a second and his eyebrows went up, but went down. He looked like she was the most amazing thing he'd ever seen. But when she looked up at him, his facial expression changed and he looked away. I smiled. He does like her. I know it. I mean, I know Millie might have a thing with Jacob, but Finn is the number one priority here.

It's basically dark now, considering it's already 9:00. After about 20 minutes, I whispered to maddie discretely, and had her make it down to everyone in the hot tub except for Finn and Millie. They obviously didn't notice. I told her to tell everyone to come in for food on my cue.

"I'm hungry. I'm gonna go get food." I said, getting out of the hot tub.

"Same," Gaten said, and soon enough everyone got out to get food except Millie and Finn.

"Why'd we have to get out?" Sophia asked, as we were all in the kitchen.

"Setting Finn and Millie up. See if anything really happens. Hot tub. Hot. Basically half naked." I said, and everyone caught on and got excited.

Let's hope this works.

Millie's POV

Finn and I were sitting in the hot tub, across from each other. I kept everything under the water except my neck and my head, and covered the top of me by crossing my arms.

Finn was just sitting there, enjoying the quiet and the crickets chirping from the backyard.

Maybe now is a good time to apologize.

"Finn," I said, and he looked towards me, in my eyes.

"Yeah?" He asked, and my heart began to beat fast. Why did it just get warmer?

"I wanted to apologize. For blaming you about telling the school. Jacob told me yesterday that he told everyone. He didn't think it was a big deal. I'm sorry for blaming you." I said, and looked down at the water, the jets blasting.

"It's okay, Millie. I forgive you." He said, and I looked at him and smiled a bit. He smiled back.

"Is there something else going on with Jacob that you want to tell me?" He asked, sitting up and leaning more towards my side, taking his back off of the side. As he moved closer, my heart raced.

"No. Everything is ok." I said, and he nodded. He looked as if he was thinking.

"I'm sorry in advance," he said, coming closer to me.

"What?" I said, and he put his hand on my leg, above my knee. I accidentally flinched and freaked out, backing away from him.

"You see that this is a problem?" He said, and I nodded. He knows.

"What did he do?" He asked, and I shook my head.

"He didn't do anything, Finn. It's just from my dream." I said, and he looked up from my knee, slowly up to my eyes. Taking in the detail of my body.

"Well then can I do something?" He asked, getting closer. I looked into his eyes, and I looked down to his hip. I looked back up to him, and his eyes were still on mine.

"What?" I asked, and he looked at me.

"What happened the dream?" He asked, and I looked at him.

"Just things that made me uncomfortable." I said, and he nodded.

"Because of the people, or because of the feeling?" He asked. I shrugged, looking back down to the water. I can't stare in his eyes anymore. I'll do something I'll regret. He's a friend, Millie.

"The people, I think." I said, and he nodded. He lifted his hand from the water, and cupped the side of my face. Butterflies in my stomach were going crazy, but they shouldn't be. He's just testing it. He's just helping.

"So it's okay if I do this?" He asked, and I nodded. He traced down to my neck and to my shoulder. I didn't flinch. I stared into his eyes. It's just Finn, Millie. You don't need to flinch. It's stupid.

We never broke eye contact when his hand moved down my shoulder to my side, then to my hip. I didn't flinch.

"That's okay?" He asked softly, barely pressing on my hip, just resting his hand there. I nodded, because it was okay. The thing that wasn't okay was him driving me insane by doing this. It's just sexual chemistry. I don't want to say it, because it sounds bad because a friend shouldn't do it. But he's turning me on.

His hand moved from my hip further down, going to my leg. I flinched a tiny bit, and Finn took his hand away. I looked back up to him, and put his hand on my leg again, my heart pounding.

"It's okay." I said, and he nodded. He moved it up to my knee, and I couldn't take it anymore. It's like he's teasing me on purpose, but un purposely.

"I can't take this anymore," I said, and met Finns stare as I put my hands on both sides of his face and pressed my lips up against his. Hard.

We flew back to his side of the hot tub, not breaking the kiss. I climbed onto his lap, straddling him, and he put his hands around my lower back and pulled me closer to him. I don't know how much closer I can get.

I feel his lips on mine, wet from the water and really soft, going at my lips. It's like he was craving me, and he finally got it. It's like my dreams, except we're actually kissing.

He never let go of my lips, as he moved one of his hands from around my back around to my thigh, sliding up.

My heart is racing and I feel like every ounce of my body is my heart pounding for him. The butterflies won't stop, and I don't want to stop.

He somehow flipped me over so I was on the back of the hot tub, and his hand traced around my stomach to my legs, and I let it roam. My hands were wrapped around his back, feeling all of him. I want all of him. I've never kissed someone with so much spark. Ever.

He let go of the kiss and went for my neck, and I let out a sigh as he kissed my neck. He trailed down it until he hit the water blocking him from going any farther, and I found his lips and placed them back onto mine. We were both trying to breathe in new air while we were kissing, and then my thoughts started rushing to my head.

I heard a door opening from the porch, and I pushed him off to the other side of the hot tub. It was Sadie.

"We're all gonna watch a movie if you two wanted to come watch!" She said, with a smile on her face.

"Okay, I'll come in in a few." I said, and she nodded and closed the door. Just Finn and I again.

I looked at him, and he was staring back at me. He was looking me up and down, slowly. His eyes dark again.

"I'm sorry. I don't know why I did that, I think my blood pressure was just high and it was the heat of the moment and you looked really attractive and-

"Me too. I get it. We shouldn't have done that." He said, and I nodded.

"Are we okay?" I asked, and he nodded.

"It's okay. Just a mistake. We were just testing something yeah?" I said, and he nodded. He was focused on something else, I could tell.

"Did you want to go in and watch the movie?" I asked, getting up to get out.

"Uh-yeah, let-let me just sit here for a second, go without me." He said, and I furrowed my eyebrows and nodded. I went in to change, and he was clearly focused on something else. I don't know what.
