Her POV

I listened nervously as I waited for my turn to go on, I heard the song you we're playing, I think you called it lovingly un-in love. I couldn't see you from backstage, but your voice carried the lyrics to me. They reminded me of a song I wrote, I wasn't going to play it tonight, but plans change. Your song finishes and I pass you on my way to the stage. I sat down on the stool and looked out at the audience with my ukulele ready.

"Hello everyone, this is my original song, 'loving you anyway'."

His POV

I received a chorus of applause when I finish playing. I walked off stage smiling and passed you as you were going on. I started to pack up my guitar but then I heard you singing. Your accented voice brought the lyrics to my ears, it could almost be a duet to my song. I stuck around backstage until you finished, and I stopped you as you came off the stage.

"Hey, I liked your song, it reminds me of the song I just played." I told you, you looked at me and smiled as if that was obvious.

"Actually that's why I played it, I heard yours and it reminded me of mine." You said, your british accent sounding just as magical as when you sang.

"Maybe we could do a duet sometime." I offered, hoping that you would say yes.

"Sure." you grabbed a sticky-note off a nearby table and wrote down your number. "I'm going back to London in a few days, so text me before then and we can make a video or something." You handed me the note then walked away to pack up your things.
