Taehyung's POV

~ Flashback ~

"Kim Taehyung! Taehyung!" I heard a women shout from behind me.

A camera flashed in my face as I turned to the women while walking beside a beautiful stone building.

Damn I doubt I was smiling in that picture...

"How does it feel to have won the biggest art competition in South Korea which provides you with a spot in South Korea's finest art academy for free?" The women said putting a big microphone to my lips.

"It's a privilege. I wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise so I am going to use this opportunity wisely" I said with a smile.

"And your winning artwork is going to be hung in this museum. How does this make you feel?" She asked now following me up the steps of the museum where I was about to see my art hanging on the wall.

"Honored" I answered before stepping inside the big concrete museum.

The room erupted in applause as I entered.

I bowed gratefully and was lead by a women in blue uniform over too a red velvet curtain which hung over my artwork.

"The artist, Kim Taehyung now is going to do the honors of revealing his masterpiece" Someone said into a scratchy old microphone which boomed around the concrete building.

I pulled a golden rope which made the curtain fall down revealing my majestic work.

The crowd gasped and started to cheer as tears built up in my eyes.

I bowed while the whole audience stared at my painting.

~ End of Flashback ~

"Tae" Jimin said softly clicking his fingers in front of my damp eyes.

"Huh, sorry" I said rubbing away tears that were forming in my eyes.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know that question may effect you" Jimin said softly running his hand over my upper thigh.

"Oh no it's fine. It was taken at a museum" I answered thinking about the day before my death.

Jimin tilted his laptop slightly towards me and clicked on a link under the picture which brought up old fashioned words that Jimin skipped over until he went down to a picture of me bowing in front of a colourful piece of art with dark shades of blues but also bright touches of greens, yellows, oranges and reds.

"You made this?" Jimin said softly looking at me and I nodded.

Then I slouched against the wall.

"It was the last piece of art I did before it happened" I said quietly for only Jimin to hear while not looking at the painting.

"Tell me more" Jimin said closing his laptop while shuffling around on his bed to look at me.

"That piece of artwork I did in a competition" I said softly which made Jimin's eyes sparkle.

"And it was so good they put it in a museum?" Jimin asked looking at me.

I grinned.

"Sort of. The winning artwork would be hung in the museum as well as you would get to study at an arts academy for a year free to pick up anymore skills from a famous artist" I explained to Jimin.

"Woah" Jimin gasped.

"Yes. It was a shame though because of the next day" I said sighing.

"That was when it happened?" Jimin asked me quietly referencing to my death.

And I nodded with a pout.

"Damn you honestly look more sad then me" Jimin said pouting.

I rolled my eyes.

"I will be fine" I said to him and he chuckled.

"Want to know what I do when I'm sad?" Jimin asked me.

"Sure" I answered.

Jimin wore a devilish grin on his face.

"I do something naughty" Jimin said grabbing my hand to pull me up from his bed.

"Like what I asked him?" I asked him curiously.

"Can you run?" Jimin asked me quietly and I nodded.

"Well... Like this" Jimin said opening his bedroom door.

He held my hand tightly in his and ran pulling me out of his bedroom.

"I thought you're not allowed out of your room?" I asked while we ran down the hallway past my bedroom.

"I'm not" Jimin said laughing as he pulled me inside a room which must have been the lounge.

He dragged me past a brown couch and over too a big glass sliding door with white frames.

I could stop Jimin but I am finding this entertaining.

Plus I disagree with Jimin's parents rules to keep him inside.

We exited his mansion and we ran down the hill holding hands as the sun shone down on the field.

Then we slowed down approaching the brick wall.

Jimin let go of my hand and climbed up the wall while I panted.

"Coming?" Jimin asked looking down at me once he sat on top of the wall.

"Yeah. I just don't fully trust my limbs right now" I answered honestly.

So far I haven't put any weight on my arms so I don't know how reliable they are.

"Give me your hand" Jimin said holding his hand out.

I didn't hesitate to put my hand in Jimin's.

I used my other hand and feet to climb up the brick wall with Jimin holding onto me in case my arms can't hold myself.

Jimin then helped me up onto the brick wall which was an inch wide.

"Wow. Maybe you aren't as weak as I thought" I said now sitting on the wall beside Jimin.

"See" Jimin hummed and I laughed.

"Now what?" I asked him.

"We wait until they find us. It's a bit of thrill, the only thrill I can get away with" Jimin hummed looking at the river bellow a dirt path on the other side of the wall too his house.

"Wow there actually is a river" Jimin gasped.

I chuckled.

"Actually I could see it from my room so I knew it was there" I said laughing.

"Wait what?" Jimin gasped hitting my arm slightly.

"You did well in guessing though" I said and Jimin rolled his eyes while a smile was on his lips.

"Do you do this often?" I asked Jimin.

He shook his head.

"I used to a lot more when I was a bit younger then I am now. I really struggled when I turned 18 honestly. I want my independence but it's hard to get that when you have been turned into some test mistake that they constantly are watching" Jimin hummed.

I nodded.

"Have you thought about running away?" I asked looking at his side profile.

"Of course" Jimin said swinging his legs on either side of the wall to face me.

"But I can't run away until I get answers" He told me.

"Answers?" I asked and he nodded.

I turned to face him and sat with my legs either side of the brick wall.

"Until I know the reason behind me having the ability to turn people to stone, also have a cure to it or a way to not turn people to stone. I can't run away because I can't escape what I have inside of me. Otherwise where ever I go, people will just turn to stone and I can't live like that" Jimin said to me.

I nodded.

"And my stupid parents as creepy scientists are sadly my best bet at this point for me to be fixed. But I don't even know if they are looking for a cure anymore. I'm scared they think if they kill themselves then the other one can bring them back to life and if you don't turn to stone then they won't and then I can live as a stupid perfect family with them which is more like torture because they will be the only people I can live around" Jimin sighed.

"I just want to be normal again" Jimin said looking over at the house hearing some noise.

"Times up I suppose" Jimin said and I looked over seeing Chiwon and Junghee wandering down the hill towards us.

"By me trying to escape from my room I am showing someday that I will run away" Jimin said enjoying the last bit of freedom and sunshine he has before Chiwon and Junghee make there way to us.

But I'm not going to allow time up for Jimin. If it's the least I can do before I likely turn to stone, I want to get answers for Jimin so he can run away and live his life not imprisoned...
