You tried to kicked the man behind you, aiming for his treasured jewel.

Unfortunately, he has skills that made him avoid the upcoming hit.

Having no other choice, you licked the hand of the unknown man.

"Seriously?" the man mumbled, a slight disgust coating his voice.

"MmmmMMMpH!"

"Don't be loud!" he whisper shouted.

He turns your body around to make you face him, but kept the hand on your mouth, afraid that you'll make a screaming rampage.

You scanned his appearance, he has a cut on his forehead and his hair is a mess.
Big doe eyes scanned you back, his nose twitching a bit from the sudden fragrance coming from you.

'sweet'

He's wearing a dark blue uniform or rather a police uniform.

"What the hëll are you doing here miss?! It's not a great idea to run in the middle of gunshots!" the seemingly young boy whispered harshly.

Ignoring his exclaim, you continued to check him out until an embroided name on his cloth caught your attention.

Jeon Jungkook

The officer, mistaking your non responsive self as a traumatized one, decided to put his hands on both of your ears.

"Don't worry, it'll stop soon." he says softly.

You stood stunned, heart fluttering from the officer's gentle action. But unbeknownst to him, this kind of scene doesn't really bother you that much anymore and it's all of your beloved brother's fault.

The young man had a determined look on his face. He was trying to capture the criminal earlier but for now, he opted to protect this beautiful maiden first.

"I-i need to find my friends." the girl muttered, removing his hands from the side of her face, missing the warmth of the officer's hand.

The young lad frowned.

"And you think that I'll let you?" he asks.

The girl hesitated to answer and mumbled a small 'no'.

"That's right, we need you to stay somewhere safe first and when the coast is clear, I will take you back to your friends."

This is Jungkook's first assigned mission, and to say that he is excited is an understatement. Although, he had to cover up his childish action with a more cold one to show dominance and seriousness towards his profession, somehow, he would still slip sometimes.

He always dreamed to be a police officer to protect people and right now, this is his chance.

Leading the baffled girl into a random room, Jungkook frowned as he saw the doorknob twitching. He was suddenly startled when someone banged on it repeatedly. The girl on his side cringed remembering that this is the room she locked Hoseok and Jimin.

"Are you a dämn weakling? Use more force!"

"Then why don't you try to open it instead smartass!"

"Just- why the hell would they put the lock of employees room outside?!"

"I don't know, you ask them."

"Shut up and try to open the door."

"My shoulder freaking hurts, it's your turn!"

Jungkook interrupted the two by opening the door as Hoseok and Jimin stumbled outside.

"Oh, we're free!"

"Y/n!"

Jimin cried out then latched on the girl. The girl sighed and patted him.

"Hey hey, what were you thinking young girl?" Hoseok scolded.

Jungkook looked at the three then proceeded tp shove them back in the employee's room.

"Hey Mr. Jeon! What the hëll?!" Y/n shouted.

"What's the name of your friend? I'll bring them safely back to you." he asks gently.

"Let me out!"

"Your resistance will only make things harder Y/n, letting me take over the matter is the best option." he softly says to her.

The girl hesitated. She knows that it's true, she's just a mere girl and trying to save Yoongi will just make more trouble.

"Their names are Kim Namjoon Kim Seokjin, and Min Yoongi." Hoseok answered for her.

She opened her mouth to speak something but heard the footsteps of the officer is already faint.

"Don't worry Y/n, those three are not easy to kill." Jimin, who was happily buried in her embrace, muttered.

Meanwhile, Jungkook held the holster at his waist, already prepared if someone dare to attack him.

He's determined to find the girl's friends. He doesn't know why but he wants to please her. He skillfully walked around and continues to search when a sudden gunshot was heard near him. He held the barrel of his gun tightly and prepared to strike, a man with a gun rushed towards him when Jungkook suddenly slammed his gun to the back of his head, successfully making him lose consciousness.

He cheered internally and proceeded to cuff the unconscious man's hands. He was about to grab his walkie-talkie to inform that he already catched the culprit when some voices were heard.

"Is it already safe? The gunshots stopped."

"Of course it's not, you idiot. Let's wait until a police or something come and get us."

He walked towards the voices to find two men crouched down.

"Holy- Dämn child! Don't scare me like that!" one of the two hissed.

"I already catched the culprit, you're both safe to go out." Jungkook claimed.

"Really? Thank God. Come on Jin, let's find Yoongi and the others."

"Wait. Yoongi? Are you two named Seokjin and Namjoon?"

"Yeah, why?" one of them sassed.

"A girl was looking for all of you." he muttered.

"Oh my God! Y/n!" the taller man ran but was pulled back by the collar.

"Wait, I locked her up in a room. Let me report to my colleagues first and I'll take you to her." Jungkook says to them as he grabbed his walkie-talkie.

The two stared at the officer and at the body on the ground.

"What about Yoongi?"

"What about that ässhole?"

"Aren't we gonna find him?"

"What? No! Let that dämn cat die." Jin muttered trying to hide his concern for his fellow cat.

"What?!" the two whipped their heads towards the officer who shouted. "What do you mean there are 9 of them?!" a gurgled voice answered him as the officer ran his hands on his face.

"What's wrong?" Namjoon asked him.

Jungkook glanced at the taller man and sighed.

"We thought that the gunshots were caused by one person. Turns out that there are nine of them. " Jungkook sighed again. "Sadly, the eight ran away and only this one was caught. Meaning that the coast is clear." Jungkook says as he lightly kicked the man on the floor. "Come on, I'll take you two to your friends."

"What about this criminal?"

"He won't be able to escape, my colleagues are coming here." Jungkook said as he lead the way.

The three reached the employee's room where Y/n and the other two resided.

Y/n was delighted seeing that Jin and Namjoon weren't hurt, but was still worried for not seeing Yoongi.

"Don't worry, there weren't any casualty reported." said the police officer.

Y/n hugged Jungkook in gratitude. The other one felt flustered as he awkwardly hugged the girl back.

His heart was thumping furiously and Jungkook feels uncomfortable from the new sensation. Sure his heart thumped like this before but that was because of physical activities.

As a child raised in a strict home, Jungkook never had the chance to have a girlfriend for he was too busy achieving his dream as a police. Hence, he didn't get any exposure to girls.

His cheeks and ears felt hot as it shows a cherry blossom color.

He caught a criminal today and even protected someone. His heart swelled with pride.

~Flashback (Atleast an hour ago) ~

"I swear boss, there weren't any records of her going in Gwangju." the man whimpered as he kneeled down before his boss.

They were currently behind a mall. Their boss just had a meeting at the owner of the mall when one of his men said this sudden news.

The boss stared at him coldly.

"So you're telling me, that all of the search we did in Gwangju was just nonsense?" a man piped up behind the boss.

"Y-yeah.. I mean n-no.. If we didn't try to search in there in the first place then we wouldn't have known that she's not there." the man said shakily.

After a terrifying silence, the boss finally asked.

"Are you sure that she's not there? What if she used a different name and identity."

"I'm sure boss!" the man who was kneeling suddenly gained confidence. "We've scanned all the documents and cctv's of all the people that went in and out of Gwangju. In fact, there wasn't even a police officer that went and left Gwangju."

"Meaning that all of the information that was said to us was just a lie." the boss' right hand man confirmed.

The boss smirked and clenched his fists.

Oh, how he wanted to smoke right now, but he resisted the temptation as his little sister hates it when he smoked.

His sister is truly sneaky, he's proud that she managed to hide from him for such a long amount of time.

But his patience is running low. He craved to be with her again and his whole body itched to hug her. He's frustrated to the point that he sleeps in her room just to calm himself by her scent.

Even if he loved to play hide and seek, this playing have already came too far. As soon as he get a hold of her, a little punishment would happen.

"You know what? I'm craving to see some blood today." the boss' men shivered at the tone of their boss. To top it off, the smile on their boss' face added to their tension.

The boss clicked his tounge and replaced his smile with a displeased one and showed a hostile look.

"You." he said pointing to the kneeling man. The boss snatched a gun from one of his men's waist and shove it to the man he pointed to. "Take this." he says as he patted the man's head. The man who was kneeling sighed in relief, thinking that he's finally free from the problem.

But the boss suddenly lowered his head near his ear and whispered something.

"I'm giving you a minute to run, if not, your brain will splatter on this road today."

Terrified, the man ran inside the mall, desperately trying to find a way to escape or hide.

"Eight of you will go ahead and shoot him for me, the one who can bring his body to me has a reward." the boss said, flicking his arms off, signaling that they can fire.

One gunshot was followed by tons, the boss walked while whistling, enjoying the sound of terrified screams and gunshots.

~Flashback ends~

Y/n ended their hug with a smile, silently thanking again the officer.

The officer rubbed the back of his head shyly. From afar, a hybrid fumes.

He was trying to find her to keep her safe only to see her in the embrace of another man?

He marched angrily towards them and put his arms around Y/n.

"Yoongi! You're safe!" Y/n cheered.

All the anger in Yoongi's eyes dissipated when he looked at Y/n.

Dämn, Y/n could cheat with all of the man of the world but he would be still in love with her. But if she did cheat with all of the man of the world, there would be only one man left and it would be him. ('cause he would kill the other males.)

Yoongi heard a snicker but he didn't pay attention to it.

He would deal with Namjoon later.

He checked Y/n' s body for injuries and hissed when he found a small scratch. His panther tried to come out, pawing at Y/n's injury.

"I'm fine." Y/n said as she pushed his head away from her. "Oh right!" she says. "Jungkook this is Yoongi, Yoongi this is Jungkook." Y/n chirped.

Jungkook did a 90° bow.

"Hi-"

"She's mine." he interrupts.

Jungkook looked baffled.

Yoongi cleared his throat.

"I'm her boyfriend. Just saying." Yoongi says, averting his eyes.
