'What's that?'

Sniff, sniff

"S-stop, that tickles." You mumbled while giggling. You were still sleepy and not aware of your surroundings.

"That sounds nice." Someone whispered.

"What sounds ni- wait."

Deciding to finally wake up, you opened your eyes blinking repeatedly to remove the sleepiness you're feeling.

"Hah! You think you're the only one that can scream?" the mysterious man smirked proudly.

"Wait, why am I here?" You asked while panicking.

'Oh God. Is this one of his men?'

"Oh! I don't know too." he pouted while putting his hands at his hips.

'Wait, I already died. Maybe this is heaven.'

'But aren't heaven supposed to be all white.'

"Oh..right, I died already." You said while laughing.

The man looked at you weirdly then says, "You're not dead.."

"I'm not dead?!" You practically screamed at him.

"What the- Lower your voice down human! You're hurting my ears." he said while rubbing the top of his head.

"Aren't you supposed to rub your ears not the top of your head?" you said to him, still thinking why you're still alive.

"I am in fact rubbing my ears!" he said while removing the hands on the top of his head, revealing two fluffy brown ears.

Realizing that he's a hybrid, you gasped at him then launched your body carefully to him. Wincing at the pressure on your stomach.

"Oh God! You're so cute! A-and so fluffy!" you said while fondling his ears carefully.

The said man blushed and tried to put you down.

"R-really? But they said my ears look weird, t-that hybrids look weird." he mumbled, his ears drooping.

Last year, there was a treaty stating that hybrids and humans will be equal. It was already approved hence why hybrids can finally get a job, properties etc.

Hybrids can also choose if they want to be a pet or not, they can also marry a human. But they're still looked down by many people. Thus, bullying a hybrid is pretty common.

"Don't listen to them..?"

"Hobi."

"Don't listen to them Hobi!" you chirped happily. "They're just jealous that you're cute and they aren't."

Hobi, as he said, blushed again and gripped you tighter.

"That really feels nice." he said while leaning his head at your hand.

"Woah, it's my first time touching a hybrid's ear!"

'Because he never let me.'

"Can- can I hug you? Yoongi doesn't let me hug him." he mumbled.

"You're already doing it, so why not." you smiled at him while hugging him properly.

"Wait, who's Yoongi?"

"Oh!" he exclaimed while pulling a little bit to look at you. "He's the one who brought you here!"

"Um-hi?" you said to the man in front of you.

He was a black haired man and as pale as a ghost.

"D-do you even come out at the sun?" you asked him, trying to engage in a conversation.

His black ears twitch as he gritted his teeth. He was sweating so much contrast to the temperature. It's literally freezing outside but not snowing, it's just when you breathe, you will see some smoke.

"What kind of hybrid is he?" you leaned to Hobi to whisper.

"He's a panther hybrid." he whispered back even if he knows that Yoongi will hear it anyways.

You bit your lips as you think hardly.

'Was he the black panther who tried to eat me?'

You thought as you look at him.

His pupils were so large that you won't see his iris. He's clenching his hands so much that it's trembling.

"What's wrong Yoongi?" Hobi asked worriedly as he notices the man's panting.

"T-take her away from m-me." Yoongi gasped as he ran away to some room and locked himself inside.

Your eyes lingered at the door where Yoongi entered.

'Did I upset him?'

'Maybe he was waiting for a thank you because he saved me from those men.'

'Right! I was so ungrateful!'

'But he tried to eat me, why would I say thanks.'

"Don't worry about him, he's bipolar." Hobi said to you while also looking at the door Yoongi ran to. "Well, that leaves us only two. Let's get to know each other!"

"Oh right!" You said then remembered something. "Who changed my clothes?" you said to him while squinting your eyes.

"I did!" He said proudly not noticing your horrified expression.

"I'm sorry already!" Hobi wailed as he clutched his pillow.

It was his only shield to protect him from you.

"Why the hell did you change my clothes!" you shouted while trying to murder him with a pillow you randomly grabbed a while ago.

"Don't move too muc- OUCH! Your wounds are still fres- AH!" he tries to use his shield but it's obviously failing for you're wrath is unstoppable.

You didn't mind the extreme pain you're feeling on your stomach from moving so much.

"I just- don't want you to stay in those-AH-in those clothes 'cause they were dirty!" he cries in misery.

"You should have gotten a girl to do it."

"I'm sorry.." Hobi sniffles.

You stopped attacking him when you noticed a lone tearfall from his eye.

"H-hey, I'm sorry Hobi, I didn't mean to be that harsh. It's j-just that I'm embarrassed and no man h-have ever seen my b-body- stop crying please- and I'm jus-" Hobi stopped you from speaking when he suddenly hugged you.

'Hah! I got her to stop.'

"Don't worry! I changed you while you're under a blanket a-and I didn't see anything since I also closed the lights."

"It's- it's still embarrassing... I mean-you saw my underwear-"

"Oh! I didn't change it! Since we doesn't have a spare I only changed your shirt and skirt. If you want to, you can change now but you'll have to wear a boxer." he said happily as if he wasn't crying earlier.

~After changing~

"Hobi?" you called.

"Hmm?" you followed his voice and ended up at the living room where Hobi is engrossed in some movie.

You feel refreshed since you decided to take a bath a while ago. When you saw yourself in a mirror you were horrified. Your hair was sticking out to random directions and some strands have some muds, but other than that your body is clean and your wound was completely clean and bandaged.

'Maybe my hair was the reason why the Yoongi guy told Hobi to take me away from him.'

"How come my body is cleaned and bandaged but my hair isn't."

"That- we couldn't bath you since we were all males so we decided that we would just change your clothes except the undergarments and wiped the blood and mud from your body. Jinnie was the one who cleaned and bandaged your wounds." he said, not taking his attention away from the movie.

Your stomach grumbled and you blushed as Hobi's ears perked up.

"Oh right! You didn't eat yet. Let's go to the kitchen! Jin cooked before he left."

You both went to the kitchen then he served you some food.

"I have so many questions." you told him.

"I expected that." he told you.

"Why does my wound doesn't hurt that much?"

"Jin injected some anaesthesia near your wound so as long as you don't move too much, it won't hurt and he'll come back later to change it."

"Who's Jin?"

"He's one of our friends."

"Ohhh,is he a doctor?" he nodded repeatedly.

'I should thank him.'

"Why did Yoongi brought me here?"

"I don't know."

You tilted your head at him.

"Why did he- why did he avoided me?" you mumbled then munched some food.

"Mmm.. Maybe it's the estrus thing Jinnie said?" he thought carefully.

'What the hell is estrus?'

"He said that it's like a period to human and it's supposed to make you smell really good." he said carefully.

"It.. made me more confused... maybe I need to leave now."

"Wait what? No! You're still not healed, at least leave when your wound is already healed."

You thinked hardly. You still need to hide from him. What if he finds you while you stay here?

"Where is this place?" you asked him.

"I don't know the exact address, the only thing I know is that it's in the middle of the forest."

"What the- how come you have electricity?!"

"Yoongi have some solar panels here. It's a gift from his friend before."

And as if the nature called him, Yoongi walked in the kitchen.

He inhaled sharply then looked at you. He ran away.

Again.

After staring at the spot where he was a while ago, you suddenly turned to Hobi, successfully startling him.

"You're bluffing me."

"Wha- I'm not!" he defensively states.

"I really need to leave sooner. I'm making him uncomfortable." you pouted.

Hobi walked around the table to hug you.

"I'll miss you." he sniffles.

"Why are you sad, you just met me."

"You're the first one to call me cute! And you smell good tha-that's why I'm already attached to you." he said then quickly stuffing his face on your neck. "And when I said you smell good,I mean reaaaally good." he said like a drunk man.

"What are you doing." you said as you broke the backhug he was giving you.

Hobi whines as his ears lay flat.

"I don't know why Yoongi would avoid you when you smell this good." he pouted.

You blush as you look at him, then sniffed yourself. You furrowed your eyes when you smell nothing but the men's soap you used earlier.

"What smell are you talking about?" you asked him as you sniffed your armpits.

"It's a smell we hybrids can only smell." he smiled proudly.

"Wait, before I woke up, were you sniffing me?"

"Yup!" he grins.

"What the hell Hobi! That's creepy."

"Bu-but I couldn't resist it." he whines loudly.

"By the way, what happened to you? Why were you running in the forest with a gun wound?"

"I was.. It's a long story." you sighed.

"I was so scared when Yoongi came home carrying a bloodied girl." he cringed, remembering the blood dripping from your wound.

"I should have thanked him first before bombarding him questions." you mumbled.

"Since he avoids me so much, would you thank him for me before I leave? Please." you pleads to him.

"Do you really have to leave? I can beg Yoongi to let you live here! And...and-"

You cupped his cheeks and pecked his forehead while he blushed.

"I'm sorry Hobi, but I cannot just stay here because I'm just a stranger to all of you and I have a family waiting for me."

'Yeah right, the only one waiting for you is the one you're running from.'

You thought about it. Where would you go once you leave this house. You have no money and have no house to go to.

He sniffed and hugged you.

While at the other side, where both of you won't notice that's someone's hiding there, stood a panther hybrid.

'Great, now she smells like him. That pup is practically draped over her.'

He gritted his teeth. He know he couldn't do anything about it until the girl's estrus is done.

Damn, a lot of scenting would be needed after it. He nearly lost control when he was carrying her home, luckily Jin and Hoseok were there to take care of her.

He never expected to met her this way.

When he found her at the middle of the forest all bloodied and crying, he went mad.

And the fact that she was scared of him made him more mad, but who wouldn't, he was a big panther and his aura screams danger.

When he saw that she was trying to get away from him, he decided to launch at her. He can't let her get away, not when he just found her.

For now, he just needs to wait and plan something to make her stay because he will not let her leave him.
