"Dad?"

"Yes baby?"

"What's the gun for?" little Taehyung said as he innocently blinked his eyes towards his father.

"We're gonna hunt baby." his mother said, a dangerous glint showing through her eyes.

"We're gonna kill some hybrids." his father said bluntly, putting some bullets in the gun.

"But isn't that bad?" Taehyung mumbled, fidgeting with his fingers.

He had watched some news before and figured out that hurting hybrids are illegal. His parents hunts hybrids like it was a normal thing to do every day and it's making him confused. This is the first time that they brought him to one of their hunts. He initially thought before that they were out for camping but seeing his father preparing his gun, his conclusion changed.

"It isn't bad Taehyungie." his mother drawled, blowing out a puff of smoke from her cigarette. His mother crouched down to level her face to him then teasingly blows some smoke to his face. "Remember the pictures in our living room? They are your aunts and uncles, my siblings, your family, and they were killed by those disgusting beings that wasn't supposed to exist in this world." his mother hissed out, throwing the almost half cigarette on the ground then stomped on it.

Taehyung coughed repeatedly, swaying his arms in front of him to remove the residue of the smoke his mom produced.

"They also killed your grandparents Taetae. Do you think it's ok to forgive them?" his father muttered coldly, firing his gun in the middle of nowhere.

Taehyung's eyes darkened, tears welling up on the corner of his eyes. God knows how he loved his grandparents. Taehyung clenched his hands and angrily wiped his tears then muttered a small 'no'.

His father smirked and rubbed his head. "That's why it's ok to do this Taetae." his father muttered, firing his gun again into nowhere.

Hybrids mostly lived in the middle of the forest to avoid unnecessary fights with humans. Forest is their safe zone. Unfortunately, Taehyung's father knew this and happily killed hybrids for his enjoyment.

A cry broke out from the way Taehyung's father has fired his gun. The cry was followed with painful growls and a child crying out.

"Ooh, it's a family!" Taehyung's mother chirped and looked at her husband excitedly. "Go get them babe."

"You both come with me." his father said, grasping Taehyung's hands while nodding his head to his wife, indicating to follow him. "You need to see this Taehyung, so that we can avenge our family."

Taehyung straightened up hearing his father calling him by his birth name.

The three stomped to the way the cry resounded. Three heartbeats beating vigorously, two from excitement, one from nervousness.

Taehyung shook off the feeling of guilt, remembering his pain from losing his grandparents. He gripped his father's hand, determination flashing through his eyes.

He won't have any mercy for hybrids from now on.

"A black panther.. Interesting." His mom said, clicking her tounge. "How you doin momma?"

The panther hybrid only growled through her pain, her hands clutching her cub protectively.

"Seems like I got you pretty hard." Taehyung's father grumbled, his eyes glazing at the girl's stomach that was bleeding.

The cub broke out of his mom's hold, standing in front of her protectively, both of his arms widespread. "Stay away from my mom!" he hissed out.

"What a cute kitty!" Taehyung's mom giggled, her arms doing a dramatic gesture.

Taehyung's eyes travelled at the little panther's features. He almost felt pity for him after seeing his teary eyes but then coldly glared at the cub after realising that they were the ones who murdered his family.

"Yoonie, run." The panther weakly muttered.

"No! Mom!"

"Go get your father Min Yoongi." she hisses out to him, Yoongi's teary eyes looked at her, whimpering out her name. "You can't save me baby, we need your father." his mother softly said.

The cub ran, his little legs trying to move as fast as he can.

"You just gonna let him go?" Taehyung's mother boredly said, picking at her fingers.

Taehyung's father raised his gun, pointing at the cub. Yoongi's mom widened her eyes, standing up frantically and blocked the gun.

Another gunshot was heard.

Yoongi's mom held her shoulder that was shot. She lies on the ground, whimpering and panting.

"What a beautiful sight." Taehyung's mother sighed, her foot stepping on the panther's shoulder, receiving a pained groan.

Taehyung's father was about to load his gun again when a deafening growl shook the forest.

"Shit." Taehyung's father said crouching down to pick up the bullets that he dropped.

A strong force launched him onto the ground, forcing his gun away from him.

Not too long after, a hot and searing pain was felt on his chest. The panther on top of him growled loudly, golden eyes glaring at his eyes, a claw was deep within his chest, clutching his still beating heart then pulled it out.

Yoongi's father was out of control after seeing his cub panicking and his mate on the ground that's on the brink of death.

Taehyung's mother let out an ugly screech, taking out her dagger, she aimed at the male panther's neck.

Yoongi's mom, for the second time, took the aim and whimpered out her lover's name for her last breath.

"Mom!" Yoongi's cry was followed by a pained howl.

Yoongi's father clawed the girl who stabbed his mate, slashing her neck, successfully taking her life. He cried pitifully scrambling to hold his mate.

Yoongi stood frozen on his spot, his eyes never leaving his deceased mother.

A click was heard, halting the panther's cry.

Taehyung held his father's gun, pointing it at his father's murderer. His face stained by tears, eyes darkened with malicious intent.

"Y-you.. You killed them." he muttered then glared at him. "So I must kill you." he gripped the trigger of the now loaded gun, trying to aim at the panther with his trembling hands then finally pulling the trigger.

Four bodies lays on the ground, two kids standing frozen.

Taehyung dropped the gun and laughed maniacally. He clutched his head running towards the path that leads to the highway.

Yoongi stumbled to his parents, his hands pushing his mother and father back and forth.

"W-wake up." he cried. "Don't leave me!"

Yoongi scrambled around, pushing at his father's chest.

"T-this is what you taught me Dad. You'll w-wake up if I did this right?" Yoongi wailed, pumping his father's chest then gave up to hug his mom.

"You c-can't leave me!" he shouts.

"You can't leave me!" Y/n shouts, rolling around the backseat.

"Don't move too much, you'll hit your head babygirl." Y/n's father said sternly, his eyes worriedly glazing on the glass to see her form.

"Dad! It's boring there." Y/n mumbled.

"But you'll get a lot of friends sweetie." her mother said softly.

"I don't like to be with them. I-i only want to be with Dad and Mom." she says, her black locks falling over her face.

Her Dad's eyes glanced at her again then smiled happily at her daughter's clingy attitude.

They had been homeschooling her and decided to let her go to a public school for a week to let her experience some exposure with other childrens. They originally didn't want to, seeing that their one and only child has a weak immune system.

The couple had a lot of trouble conceiving a child that's why they treasure her so much. Another thing is that, Y/n's mother can't afford to have another child again due to some complications. They sadly accepted the truth and decided to settle down with one child.

"H-hun! Hun look out!" Y/n's mother shouts.

Her father's eyes that was glancing at her immediately looked at the highway and stepped on the brakes. The parents luckily had their seat belts on but the little girl at the back wasn't so lucky.

Y/n cried out from the shock. Her hands clutching her head from the sudden dizziness.

Her father frantically removed his seat belt to check on her.

"Are you ok baby? Are you hurt? Father is sorry." her father cried out grabbing her from the back to cradle her on his lap.

"There's a kid hun." her mother said, removing her seat belt to check on the child who suddenly appeared in the middle of the road that's in the middle of the forest. "Oh my God! He's bleeding!"

The two parents went out of the car, Y/n's father carried her while her mother reached out to the shocked kid.

"Where are you hurt honey?" her mother cooed, gently grabbing the little kid. "Oh? It.. It's not your blood." her mother muttered.

The kid burst out in tears, clutching the clothes of Y/n's mom.

"M-my parents were killed. P-please help me!"

Several cops went around the forest. Y/n's parents talked with one of them, the cop attentively listening while he jot down the important things.

The two kids sat inside of the car of L/n, the girl held a wet cloth, carefully wiping the hands of the boy.

"I-I'm Y/n." the little girl suddenly muttered, her doe eyes looking at the stunned boy in front of her.

He had been watching her since the moment his eyes landed on her form that was being cradled by her father.

Her looks somehow sparked some interest in him that he couldn't take his eyes away from her.

"You're supposed t-to introduce too?" Y/n mumbled. "That's what they say in order to socialize." she whispers to herself.

"I'm Taehyung." the boy chirped. His face still holding a stunned look that was still intently gazing at her.

His response took her off guard. Excitement suddenly flowing through her veins.

She had never interacted with other kids before and this moment made her feel some accomplishment.

She smiled sweetly then giggled, proud that she finally got to socialize.

Taehyung relished in the sweet sound, his heart felt at ease and somehow, he forgot the tragic incident earlier.

They ended up un the police station, a few things were asked to Taehyung then they were both sent to the waiting area, waiting for Y/n's parents.

Nobody could explain Taehyung's joy when he heard that Y/n's parents were suddenly adopting him after hearing that Taehyung had no relatives left. His parents had been long forgotten when she appeared. He had been thinking of ways to be with her but then her parents paved the way for him.

'I got to be with her.'

It was stated there that Y/n's parents adopted Taehyung after seeing him in the middle of the road in the forest, and after finding out that his parents were killed. This chapter is a more elaborated one hehe.
