Epilogue
~Seyeon~
I poked Yoongi's cheek over and over again until he couldn't take it anymore and grabbed hold of my hand.
We are currently in his studio right now. It's almost ten in the morning and after receiving that message from Yoongi last night, I made sure to see him before heading to my work place.
Opening one eye, he sighed, "What?"
"You look so hot when you sleep."
"If I look that hot then don't bother me and let me sleep."
I snorted. "I can't do that. You told me to come over before I leave for work and that you have something to tell me. Well, I'm here now."
Yoongi opened his eyes. "So you're going to work today then?"
"Yeah, I am," I said. "That's why I'm sort of in a hurry."
"There's something happening in two weeks," Yoongi said, yawning as he sat up. "You need to make sure you're free."
I frowned. "That sounds vague. What's happening?"
"A wedding."
My eyes widened. "You—want me to go to a wedding with you? B-but I won't know anyone so maybe it's best if I don't—"
Yoongi laughed, short and tiredly. "Trust me, Tiny. It's a wedding you don't want to miss."
"Huh?"
He glanced down at his watch before getting to his feet. I followed his lead.
"Let's go."
"Go where?" I asked as I followed him towards the door.
We walked out of his studio and down the hallway towards the back.
"How come it's so quiet today?" I asked Yoongi as I struggled to catch up with him. "I mean, it's a Saturday but there should be more people here though."
Yoongi smiled without looking at me. "You'll see."
I frowned. He was being quiet about it. It made me wonder what was happening today. Something tells me there's more to it.
I walked ahead of Yoongi since he was walking too slow and on his phone. That's when it happened. I turned around the corner and slammed into someone before falling on my butt.
"Ow," I groaned.
"Crap, I'm so sorry," I heard a soft female voice said, in a frantic tone. I glanced up and saw a really beautiful girl kneeling down. She looked like a goddess- no joke.
"Are you hurt?" she asked.
"I'm—good," I said, in awe of her beauty. Am I in heaven? Why is there an angel here?
She still helped me to my feet anyways. "I'm so sorry," she said, her eyes filled with worry. "Are you sure you're not hurt? You kind of flew."
"You need to grow some more," I heard Yoongi said from behind me. "So tiny."
"It's not like I asked to be short," I snapped, glaring at him.
The girl looked over her shoulder and then tensed. She turned back to look at me and forced a smile, "I hope you're okay. I need to go now."
"Wha—"
She turned to leave in a hurry but then to my surprise, Seokjin suddenly appeared out of nowhere, grabbing hold of her.
"Let go of me, dammit!" she hissed.
"Not a chance," he muttered. His eyes came to me and he smiled, "Sorry about this one. Move back for me, will you, pretty Seyeon?"
I immediately took a step to the left and watched as Seokjin threw the girl over his shoulder. My eyes widened at the sight of it.
"Seokjin!" she yelled, hitting his back with her fists. "Let me down, you a$$hole!"
Seokjin ignored her yelling and carried her off like she wasn't struggling at all.
"Should we be doing something?" I whispered when I felt Yoongi by my side. "I think I just witnessed a kidnapping."
"That's Yumi," Yoongi said as he curled his hand around mine. He brings our laced fingers up and brushed a kiss across my knuckles, eyes locked on me. "Seokjin's fiancée."
***
Yoongi and I spent the next two weeks preparing for Seokjin's wedding. It was a small one but there was still a lot of things that needed to be done.
When the news about Seokjin's marriage got out, it was a little crazy. Seokjin had to release a statement about his decision and he did a good job at pretending that he loves the girl – Yumi.
I learned that there's no love between the two. In fact, Seokjin could barely stand to look at her when she's around. Likewise, she had this cold aura around her and it was hard to approach her.
Minseo was overseas so she couldn't make it to the wedding. According to Taehyung, she cried and whined about not being able to make it – since Seokjin's her favourite BTS member. She was also in denial and sulking though we all know that she's happy for him... even though she has yet to learn about their loveless marriage.
Jiyeon and I did our best, trying to be nice to her and welcoming but Yumi wasn't having any of it. She gave us the cold shoulder. Just like everyone else.
When the wedding was finally over and done with, Seokjin had to clear a room for her. I saw the way he treated her and wanted to smack some sense into him but Yoongi stopped me.
"It's not our business, Tiny," Yoongi murmured. "let's not get involved, okay?"
So what else can I do? I have no idea why they decided to marry. Maybe it was arranged- that's the only thing I can think of. Either way, I didn't like this at all. The members are so tense around Yumi too.
"What are you thinking about?" Yoongi asked, getting out of the shower.
Yoongi left to go for a shower and since I already showered, I waited for him in bed. While doing so, I couldn't help but think about the wedding today.
I held out my arms for him.
"What?" he asked, suspiciously.
"Hug me."
"Why?"
"Please," I batted my lashes at him.
Yoongi dropped the towel he was drying his hair with and crawled towards me before burying his face in my chest, arms wrapped around me.
"Something's on your mind," he noted in a soft murmur.
I smiled, "It's that obvious, huh?"
"Talk to me."
I hesitated. "About Yumi..."
Yoongi stayed quiet and I took this as a cue for me to continue.
"I want to be friends with her."
"She's not making it easy for you, is she?"
I shook my head. "She's cold. It's almost like she wasn't that girl who bumped into me that day at the company."
Lifting his head from me, Yoongi smiled, "I thought I told you not to get involved with their business."
"But—"
He shook his head. "It's going to hurt Seokjin if you go against him like that, Tiny."
"Seokjin?"
"I think you can tell by now that there's no love between the two," Yoongi said. "Seokjin doesn't like her at all. Something happened between them... seems like it's been a while now too."
I stared, waiting for him to continue on.
"I don't know the details," Yoongi told me with a sigh. "But I do know that watching the two of them hurts me and the members. You know how Hoseok and Jiyeon married and it wasn't for love?"
I nodded. I remembered.
"Those two were able to get along," Yoongi murmured. "Yumi and Seokjin can't stand each other at all. Plus, Seokjin makes her follow us everywhere and we're a little worried about her health."
My heart ached at that. "He treats her badly?"
Yoongi's jaw clenched and he nodded once.
"But you know," Yoongi said in a soft voice. "Seokjin's precious to all of us. It seems like he wants to make sure we don't form any kind of bond with her."
"Oh," I whispered.
"We love him so we listen to him."
"So we just have to—watch him treat her like that?"
My heart sank at that thought. Seokjin's really sweet and kind... knowing that he's like this with her hurts me. It might even hurt him to do so too.
"It goes both ways," Yoongi reassured me. "The girl is a fighter. She doesn't let Seokjin push her around so it's not as bad as you think. She's strong."
I hope so because if she isn't, she'll break and that'll hurt each and every one of us. Regardless of the reason why Seokjin hates her, he'll hurt too if she was to break. Because that's Seokjin to you. He cares even if he doesn't want to. Either way, I trust him.
Dropping my head down, I kissed Yoongi, savouring the taste of him. Yoongi's hand came around the back of my head, holding me in place as he kissed me back.
After a while, we broke apart, breathing heavily.
"What was that for?" Yoongi asked, raising both eyebrows.
Even though I wanted to talk more about Seokjin and his bride, I decided not to do that. So I changed the topic.
"Your mother rang before," I replied, breathlessly. "She asked about our five children."
Yoongi grinned at that. "Did she?"
I nodded, pulling him to a sitting position before reaching for his robe. "So, I told her we're still working on that."
Yoongi lets me take off his robe, tilting his head to the side. "Is that why you're wearing that?"
I blushed at the obvious statement. I had gone shopping with Harin the other day to buy something sexy just for Yoongi.
"Too bad," he murmured, dropping his hands to my hip. "we won't need that."
I wrapped my arms around him, tipping my head to the side. "Well, what are you waiting for?"
And just like always, Yoongi took his time loving me in a way that showed me just how precious I am to him.
Although I still have dreams about the terrible things my adopted family put me though and my bad days, it gets better now when Yoongi's by my side. It may always hurt from time to time but I no longer think about them anymore.
With the members by my side and with Jiyeon and Minseo there for me, I will be okay. Despite the bad decisions I've made, it lead me to Yoongi and although I still pray that no one finds out about the bad things I've done, I know that even if it was to be exposed, that these people will love me regardless.
Just like I do with them.
More importantly, I know that Yoongi's love is something so rare and so, so precious. Being the only one who has it, I want to be able to cherish it and become someone worthy of him.
Just like how he gave me his hand back then, I want to be the one to give him my hand when he needs it.
Running my hands through Yoongi's hair, he lifted his head up, looking at me from below.
"I love you," I whispered.
Yoongi smiled, eyes gentled before he dropped a kiss to the inner part of my thighs, muttering, "I know."
His piercing eyes met mine once more before he smirked. "I love you too, Tiny."
Just like that, the world became a little brighter and a little better.
And it was all because of Yoongi.
