Chapter 27
~Seyeon~
So much for finding ways to cope. I woke up again in the middle of the night, unable to sleep but this time, I didn't go to Yoongi's room.
I curled into a ball, resting my head on my knees and closed my eyes, telling myself that these were just memories. They can no longer hurt me.
I don't know how long I've been doing this until I heard someone shift and then I felt a presence at the end of my bed.
Slowly lifting my head, I saw Jiyeon there, kneeling on the floor, hands on the bed as she took me in. I could see concern etched on her face.
My eyes went to Minseo and I saw that she was still asleep, softly snoring and dreaming.
"Should I get Yoongi?" Jiyeon whispered.
"No," I shook my head. "What time is it?"
Jiyeon moved back to get her phone before replying, "Two in the morning."
I closed my eyes, muttering curses at myself. Opening my eyes, I glanced at Jiyeon and said, "Go to sleep."
"What about you?"
"I'm trying to sleep," I reassured her. "I'm sorry. Did I wake you?"
Jiyeon shook her head. "No. Not really." She paused. "Are you sure you don't want Yoongi?"
I shook my head.
That's when she stood up and then sat on my bed, wrapping her arms around me. She brought my face to the crook of her neck, running her hand down my back. The gesture brought tears to my eyes.
"I heard you fussing," Jiyeon confessed in a quiet voice. "Are you okay?"
"I am," I told her, my voice trembling slightly. "Just remembering some things. No big deal."
"And Yoongi knows about them?"
I hesitated. "He knows I have them but he doesn't know what they're about."
"No?" she asked, surprised. "Really?"
I nuzzled against her, shaking my head, "No. I don't want to talk about it too."
Sensing this, Jiyeon said nothing but continued stroking my back. Jiyeon might not be Yoongi but knowing that Jiyeon's here, I felt a little better. Times like these, I needed to be reminded of how warm people's hands are. Right now, Jiyeon's warmth was enough to make me feel better.
That's how I ended up falling asleep.

~Yoongi~
Yoongi glanced at Seyeon who had fallen asleep, head on his shoulder. His head was filled with the conversation he had with Jiyeon.
They were heading back to the dorms now that they've wrapped up everything. Yoongi was glad about it because he was extremely tired. Same with the members. Although he felt bad he couldn't spend much time with Seyeon, he was just happy that she was nearby. When he needed to recharge, he'll go to her and Seyeon will give him that beautiful smile and act cute for him, making him laugh. That was until he found out about it.
When Seyeon didn't come to his room anymore, he thought that she was doing okay, only to find out from Jiyeon that Seyeon couldn't sleep for the past two nights. He wanted to talk about it with her. Soon. But how can he when every time he brings it up, she closes up so fast?
He doesn't know what to do anymore.
Yoongi glanced at Seyeon who had thrown an arm over him, snuggling against him. With a soft sigh, he leaned into her, eyes closed.
You need to talk to me soon, he thought to himself. Or I'll go mad, trying to figure out what's wrong.
~Seyeon~
Yoongi gently woke me up when we reached the dorms. Judging by his usual self, I could see that Jiyeon haven't mentioned anything to him. I was thankful for that because if she did, Yoongi would be in my space, asking me about it. It's something I'm not ready to talk about with him yet.
"Noona, come sit down," Jimin said, getting up and moving so that I could sit next to Yoongi.
"Someone had a good sleep in the car," Seokjin said, taking the sight of my messy hair.
"My hair isn't that messy," I mumbled, running a hand through my hair. I didn't bring a hair straightener with me so I couldn't tame my curls.
"We were talking about how jealous Taehyung gets," Minseo said, cheekily.
"You love it though," Jiyeon told her.
Minseo shrugged. "Sometimes. There are times when it gets a little... too much." She emphasised, turning her gaze to Taehyung who was pretending not to hear her.
"What about Yoongi?" Namjoon asked, crossing his legs as he smirked over at us. "He seems like the calm and quiet type but that's not exactly true, right?"
"Oh, Yoongi?" I said, glancing sideways at Yoongi who was pretending to be doing something on his phone. "He's an overprotective, cunning, jealous little—ah!"
Lightning fast, Yoongi grabbed hold of my cheek, pinching them, his eyes narrowed on me daringly, "Keep talking, will you?"
"Mmph! Let go, you bully," I mumbled, trying to slap his hands away.
Yoongi rolled his eyes, "You're getting a little brave these days, Tiny."
"Your influence, I assure you," I said, rolling my eyes as Yoongi released his hold on my cheek.
"What, Yoongi is cunning with you too?" Taehyung asked, grinning. "He doesn't even give you a break?"
"Like you give Minseo a break," Yoongi muttered, releasing my cheek.
"Anything else you can tell us?" Seokjin grinned. "Maybe something about him that only you know."
Yoongi narrowed his eyes at me, "Zip it."
Rubbing my cheek, I turned to the rest of the members and the girls who were attentively listening to me.
"Yeah," I said loudly, "You guys know how Yoongi can't watch scary movies, right? One time, he actually cried like a baby and held onto me—"
Yoongi put a hand over my mouth and scowled, "Don't make me gag you."
I arched both eyebrows at him.
He glanced at the amused members and told them, "Seyeon and I got plans. I won't be back until tomorrow."
He removed his hand from my mouth.
"Wait, we do?" I asked as Yoongi got to his feet and made his way towards the door.
"Let's go," Yoongi said, without glancing back at me.
I turned to the members and grinned, waving, "I'll see you guys next time."
"Have fun," Namjoon yawned, waving back. "Don't forget we have a meeting tomorrow, hyung!"
"Bye-bye!" I said, grinning. Excited, I trailed after Yoongi with a bounce in my steps.
