Ok so I was texting my friend and told her Zeno's background and how he still always smiles and seems genuinly happy. (seriously you cannot fake this smile)

Anyways this conversation popped up.

eah this is literally what happened when they made this anime:
Creators: Ok so there will be four dragon warriors. Their master will be the red dragon a former god who is now human.
Me: Ok sounds good.
Creators: The first dragon to join will be Kija. He has white hair so he'll be the white dragon. He is loved by everyone in his village.

Me: Wooooooow real creative. But his hair is kind of silvery blue shouldn't it be---
Creators: BLUE HAIR! Excellent idea! The next dragon to join will be Shin-Ah meaning moonlight. He has blue hair so he'll be the blue dragon.
Me: But he wears a mask and has...fluff that covers the back of his head. You can't see his hair.
Creators: He also has a pet squirrel named Ao.
Me: As I was saying...I LOVE THIS CHARACTER ALSO MOM GO CATCH ME A SQUIRREL SO I CAN NAME IT AO AND WE CAN BE BEST FRIENDS!
My mom: Good luck with that.
Me: MOMMY I WANT A SQUIRREL NAMED AO! PLEASE?! (this actually happened)
Creators: Anyways everyone in his village was afraid of him ever since he was born because he could kill them just by looking them in the eyes.
Me: *slowly backs away*
Creators: They put a mask on him before he opened his eyes and his mother committed suicide after giving birth to him because of what he is. The only person he ever knew was the previous blue dragon Ao who dies when Shin-Ah was really young. And since he was also feared nobody took care of him so Ao didn't know exactly how to take care of Shin-Ah so he was really mean to him (he tried his best to take care of Shin-Ah but...) so when he died Shin-Ah was left all alone. Until one-day he met a squirrel and named him Ao since that was the only name he knew. He also never had a name until the main character named him.

Creators: The third dragon is Jae-Ha he has green hair so he'll be the green dragon. The people in his village chained him up his whole life. Until one-day he somehow escaped and became a pirate.

Me: 1. He became a pirate? How much more random can you get? 2. WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!
Creators: The final dragon is Zeno. He has yellow hair so he'll be the yellow dragon.
(now get ready for a lot of pictures because you can never have too much Zeno)

(this is how our conversation began I texted her this as a late Valentine's day card because she had to move out of state and I wanted her to know that I will always love her...as a friend)

Ok moving on.
Me: OH MY GOSH HE'S SO ADORABLE! ARE YOU SURE HE'S SEVENTEEN?!
Creators: He's over 2000 years old.
Me: Wait...if he's so old...then what about his...

Creators: You're going to love this. He's immortal, his master (the red dragon) died, all of his friends who were like his brothers died and he senses it, they all die at the same time and it feels like he's the one who's dying, his friends are reborn multiple times but are different people who have no memory of him, even though he never met most of them he still feels like he's the one who's dying whenever they die, this continues for thousands of years, he gets married once to a woman who was terminally ill and when she dies he NEVER leaves her side (in the manga you see him holding her skeletal hand and he probably continued holding it until she was nothing but dust ok fine he burys her at that point but just pretend), everyone he ever cared about died, and he's had his head cut off, multiple swords thrusted into him, arm cut off, and a lot more then he regenerated which is really painfull, and---
The entire fandom: DIE YOU MONSTERS HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO ZENO SAMA!
Me: CHARGE KILL THEM ALL!
Worker: I told you we shouldn't have made Zeno's background so bad.
