We ended up at a pretty good place to have lunch, after some awkward moments I overcame my uneasiness to eat in front of him. The steak was delicious as was the salad and the drinks. Yomo stick to a cup of coffee while he watched me stuffing my mouth as if I would have to starve after this.

"Hmm! So delicious!" I moaned

"You should have some desert, they have some good things on the menu" he recommended and I immediately eyed the menu card.

"You're right! They have a lot of stuff, damn... what am I supposed to take?" I took my time to read through the entire card until Yomo pointed his finger at something.

"Nama Chocolate... that was the one I was planning to take too, how did you know??" he took a sip from his cup as I placed the menu down and stared at him surprised.

"You were looking at it longer than the other ones." I raised my eyebrow

"Huh? How can you tell? You haven't seen the card..." he took the card and showed me that the menu was written on both sides. Embarrassment washed over me as I failed to notice that myself.

"Ohh... that explains it" a waitress walked by and I ordered the desert.

"Yummyyy!" I moaned satisfied as I placed the spoon in my mouth and let the sweet flavor of chocolate stimulate my taste buds. I once again felt like a little kid but then I noticed Yomo who was sitting on his chair like an ice klutz, and I realized I was being childish again.

"S-Sorry if I go over board... I am just exited to be here, it's been a long time since I last had something this good" I apologized and looked at the plate, my eyes were a little glassy and Yomo noticed my regretful face.

"I did not complain, if that's the case then go ahead and order some more, there are plenty other delicious things" my cheeks blushed

"I did not mean to make you-"

"It's fine, here try this one next it sounds pretty delicious" he held the card in front of my shaking eyes and showed me the next desert I should try.

"F-Fine... if it's really not a problem then I gladly accept your offer" .

3 cups of large coffee for Yomo and countless deserts for me later:

"Damn I'm stuffed!! That was so good my belly is about to explode" I traced my "food pregnant" belly as the waitress brought the bill.

"Here, the rest is for you" he placed the money in the waitresses hand and I quickly took out my wallet to pay my share.

"Keep it, it was my treat" he rejected my money.

"But I ate so much I can't let you pay all of it by yourself!" I pushed the money back towards him but he stopped my hand.

"I said it was fine, place your money back into your wallet" our eyes met and neither of us was about to back down from this "Fight".

"But you already paid for the coffee! Let me at least give you a small share, I feel bad if I don't give you anything!" he pushed the money back to my side.

"No, I said it was fine" I started to get pissed and pushed it towards him again.

"You can't reject if I offer it to you! Just accept it already!" damn we're actually arguing over a bank note...

"I said no!" I clenched my teeth, his eyes were really intimidating and so I gave in.

"Fine! Have it your way then Mr Gentlemen!!" I stuffed the note into my wallet and he gave a triumphing smirk.

"If that's settled, then let's go" he offered and I walked out first.

"Alright... it's 4 pm shouldn't we head home for tod--" he cut me off once again

"Let's head to the park next" my eyes widened and he again made a decision without me

"H-Hey! Wait!" he was walking ahead and I followed him like a dog who was chasing after his owner.

I walked beside him as we entered the park, it was autumn and the trees were having a beautiful color.

"Wow, the threes look so beautiful during this season" I said gazing at the colors while we walked underneath the trees.

"I knew you would like it" he replied making me look at him

"You knew I like autumn?" he looked at my face that was wearing this confusing expression again.

"I assumed from your reaction just now" dumbfounded again...

"Oh... I should have guessed..." face palm myself please...

"So why did we come here? It wasn't just because you wanted to show me the beautiful autumn colors?" he hummed and shrugged his shoulders, leaving my question unanswered.

"Hello??" I blinked my eyes waiting for a reply but never received one

"Damn... it's just as she said... you are a handful to hand-" I was knocked down to the ground from a puppy that jumped at me.

"H-Hey!" I giggled as the puppy licked my face.

"Shiru!" I heard a female voice whom the puppy belonged too.

"Excuse me miss! Shiru is only 2 months old and really playful" she bowed her head in apology but I smiled and run my hands through his soft fur, playing with him.

"Not at all! I love dogs and he is really cute! Shiru, what a cute name you have!" I nuzzled my head playfully to his forehead and petted him.

"Yomo-san! Come and pet him too, he is so cute!" I looked up to his gloomy and dark face, sending chills down my spine. Shiru started barking and I could understand why.

"I feel you boy... better not then" the lady was smiling, seeing me having so much fun.

"Do you live close by miss?" she asked suddenly.

"No, I live on the other end of the city" I replied

"Oh, what a pity, Shiru seems to like you a lot. We come here everyday and if you lived close by then you could have walked him once in a while" my face went sad, it really was a pity that I lived so far away.

"That should be no trouble miss, (First name) can walk him the next time she visits my place, I don't live to far from here" my eyes widened as I heard Yomo's offer.

"Oh if that's so, then please do so, here is my name and my telephone number" she handed Yomo her contact information's.

"Whenever you are in the area please come and visit" she smiled and I could not help but smile too.

"Thank you... did you hear that Shiru?? I can come and play with you again!" the puppy seemed happy and jumped at me making me fall on my back while he licked my face.

"Shiru!" the lady called as she saw the puppy knocking me down again.

"He seems really happy, as if he could understand what we were talking!" I giggled and slowly lifted him up so I could stand up. We said goodbye to the lady and Shiru as we continued our walk through the park.

"Thank you... for offering me to see Shiru again" I thanked Yomo for his act of kindness.

"You're welcome" he replied in his usual monotone voice but I knew what he meant to express.

It was getting dark and we settled down on a park bench. The streetlights were turning on one after the other and the moon was slowly rising on the sky. I started to feel how the tiredness settled down and made my eyes heavier, I haven't slept since yesterday and my body was craving for some rest.

"You still haven't told me why you brought me here..." I started again, Yomo was silent and I stared at his profile for quite some time before he finally broke the silence and answered me.

"Fine, if you really want to know then I'm going to tell yo-" he felt a light weight on his arm and moved his head in the direction. His eyes saw my head leaning against his shoulder, sound asleep.

"Really? She fell asleep?" he mumbled as he listed to my slow and steady breathing.

"I guess I waited a little too long to tell her" he let out a sign and looked back at my sleeping posture.

"What do I do with her?" he uttered and after a moment of staring he let out another sign.

"It's just as you said Mari... but I will take care of her anyway" he slowly moved my body and carried me piggy back out of the park. That night I had a really calm and comfortable sleep, as good as this I haven't slept in ages...
