I waited what felt like forever, once I was done inspecting his entire place I planted myself on the couch and stared at the wall.

"How long is he taking please??" I glanced at the clock and then back at the wall.

"It's nearly 3 am, I wonder what kind of things he had to take care off..." my thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a loud bang on the door. I jumped up in shock and looked at the steel door, the bang sounded again and I slowly stood up from the couch.

"Did he forget his keys?" I thought as I approached the door

"What do I do if it isn't him?" my feet stopped and I carefully thought about that idea.

"What if it was another ghoul looking for him?" the banging got louder and I swallowed nervously.

"From the sound of it, it must be him..." I trusted my positive thoughts and slowly opened up the heavy door. The instant my eyes caught someone other than Yomo I regret trusting my thoughts...

"W-Who are you??" I stuttered as I found a creepy looking guy standing at the door hem.

"I could ask you the same little kitty" he slowly pulled down his sunglasses and rested it on the tip of his nose as he revealed his ghoul eyes to me with which he examined my form from head to toe.

"I assume Ren-Chan is busy right now, considering your appearance... I think I'll better come back later" he gave a creepy smile and pulled his glasses up. A dark blush tinted my cheeks as he thought Yomo and I were doing "It".

"Y-You are mistaken! We were not doing anything! He just helped me out since my clothes were all dirty... He isn't even home right now so we could not do anything!" I explained myself and totally forgot that I just confirmed to a stranger that I was all alone dressed like this...

"Crap... I should have lied instead!"

"Oh I see, so Ren-Chan isn't here right now... hmmm... what a pity" he gave me another smile

"Mind if I wait until he returns?" my eyes widened in shock

"What do I do now???"

"I-I don't think this is a good idea... Yomo-san told me not to let anyone inside until he is back" I lied and hoped he would buy it.

"Oh is that so? Well you must know that Ren-Chan and I know each other for a really long time, I think he never would forbid me to enter his place though" my knees started shaking, he was not only creepy looking with all those black clothes and piercings, he was also really intimidating just like Yomo but I feared him a little more right now.

"I... I....." my throat was dry and I had no idea how to counter his reasoning. He took a step forward and walked next to my body that was unable to move, he leaned his head towards me and made me jump aside as he took a sniff.

"Hmmm... you smell really nice, I think I've taken a liking in you little kitty" he removed his glasses and put them in his pocket as he walked into the living room with a delicious grin on his lips. My knees were about to give in as he invited himself in and took a seat on the couch. I was scared to close the door because I had no idea what he might do to me. Just in case I could run away but the only questing was... how far would I get?

"What's your name little kitty?" he asked making himself comfortable.

"I-It's... (first name)..." he smiled and took of his coat, revealing his tattooed arms and biceps.

"That's a cute name did your mother or father gave it to you?" I was still standing next to the door with my shaking knees as my eyes observed him closely.

"I-I don't know..." his eyes looked at me

"Oh.. What a pity, I would have liked to know" I looked away and crossed my arms over my chest to hide my boobs.

"S-Sorry, but I don't remember much about my parents" this caught his interest and he continued asking me.

"Did they die while you were still young?"

"Yes... they did..."

"How did they die?"

"Why was he so interested in my family??"

"It was a car accident..."

"Do you have siblings?"

"I do... but she died a little while ago" his lips formed into a light smile

"So you are all alone in this world now little kitty?" I nodded

"Y-Yeah..."

"Tell me, do you regret not being able to save anyone?" my eyes widened and I looked at him shocked

"W-What do you mean?" he rested his elbows on his knees and looked at my painful face.

"Everyone you loved was taken away from you, so you must regret not being able to do anything" he was right but things happened like they happened.

"True... but there was nothing I could have done to prevent that" he stood up from the couch and started to approach me.

"Don't you seek revenge? For those people who killed your loved ones?" my eyes sharpened

"Revenge? How does he know they were killed? wasn't it an accident"

"Revenge? For what? It's not gonna change anything" he chuckled

"Who knows, isn't that what humans usually think?" he stepped a little closer and I tried to back away from him

"Just because I am human does not mean I do what other humans would"

"That's interesting"

"What about you? You are a ghoul, do you always do what other ghouls do?" he chuckled and stepped right before my face.

"Oh you mean the killing? Well usually I do what other ghouls do but... from time to time I like to step out of line a little" he examined my features.

"Tell me, do you fear me because I am a ghoul?" I shook my head

"I don't" he chuckled

"That's interesting but you're shaking, that means you do"

"You are wrong, it's not because I know you are a ghoul, it's because you try to scare me with the fact that you are one" he was impressed that I gave him such a reply.

"Oh? Wow you figured that quite easily I am impressed"

"But let me tell you little kitty, you should learn to fear us since we are predators and you are prey, ghouls and humans can never come to an understanding" he placed his fingers on my chin and made my eyes connect with his.

"It's useless what you are trying to do, I am not scared of you or anyone else. You are a ghoul, yes but you are just the same monster as me, a human" his eyes widened in shock.

"What are you saying?"

"The truth, you and everyone else does not see or does not want to believe in. It's not just you who corrupt this world, it's us humans too. There for it's useless to try to warn me, you should fear me the same way you try to make me do" he released my chin and took a step back.

"You really are an interesting one, I like you" he smiled and headed back to the couch where he took a seat. His head turned towards the door and I noticed Yomo standing on the hem.

"You're back Ren-Chan"

"Uta, what are you doing here?" he asked as he walked into the room.

"I was just getting to know your lovely girlfriend, she is really interesting" Uta smiled, Yomo looked at me who was still standing in the corner like a scaredy chicken.

"She's not my girlfriend" he said and took off his cloak.

"What a shame, you guys go well together" A huge blush appeared on my cheeks as he said that.

"What are you here for Uta?" he asked curious.

"Oh, Itori wanted to talk to you, she was curious why you did not show up yesterday"

"Itori?? Wait wasn't that the name of the ghoul from the club who gave me her card?"

"Oh... sorry I totally forgot, I'll be there tonight" Uta looked at me

"Fine, can you bring her along? Itori likes to meet her too" Yomo looked over to me with a death glare and I pressed my back harder into the wall.

"If his eyes could kill me I would be dead"

"Sure, if you guys can keep it together that is" Uta laughed

"Sorry, we'll try our best" he stood up and headed towards me.

"I never introduced myself properly" he held out his hand

"I am Uta, an old friend of Renji, sorry if I scared you a little and stick my nose into your personal life, I just have the bad habit to scare off the people who get too close to Ren-Chan" he smiled.

"T-That's ok I forgive you..." I accepted his apology with a light smile even though I still felt confused.

"He must have been the other ghoul on the table next to Yomo and Itori... which means he is the host of the auction... the one who sells human slaves to rich ghouls..."
