During the lunch time I was sitting with Chikaru in our usual seats. All of a sudden the girls started shouting out of excitement.

Chiharu :  😒 What's up with those bitches today?

Me :  Dunno 😅. (Bites by meat bread)

Chiharu :  I know that you don't know 😒.

Me :  Hai Hai 😅.

The noise increased I looked at that direction and found him standing there. All the girls gathered crowding around Mahiro who was talking to them and giving out that charming smile. 😍 I was watching him kinda lost in his charm when he started walking towards our direction.

Me :  (thinking)  W-Wait! W-Why he is coming here?! 😵

Chiharu gives me an odd look... As I looked back at her. We got up from our seats and were about to leave.

Mahiro :  Listen....what's your name?

Chiharu :  Me?

Mahiro :  No.... Her....

Me :  Um... Akari...

Mahiro :  Can we be friends?.. (Takes my hand and kisses it) You're beautiful...

Wait! Did it actually happened?! Currently the most handsome guy in the whole school called me Beautiful?!! 😲

Me : T-Thanks....

Chiharu pushes him aside and dragged me out of the canteen...

Me :  (still trying to understand what happened just now) Whoa! What happened?!

Chiharu  :  Don't you think it's suspicious?

Me :  What?!

Chiharu :  Him kissing your hand...

Me :  😕 Is it?!

Chiharu :  Look at him and then look at you.

Me :  Haii! I thought it weird too. 😅😅

Chiharu :  Maintain a distance from that guy.

I know Chiharu warned me but still a popular guy asked me to be his friend.....that's a first....after that incident we used to meet almost everyday. 

I came to know that his family lives in the village and he stays in the town all alone for education purpose. He told me that he works in the nearby coffee shop.

One week later....

Jotaro :  Am telling you that Mahiro guy is up to something.

Me :  Shut up sword! (Throwing him on the ground) You're just jealous!

Jotaro turns back to his human form.

Jotaro :  That's rude! So-called master. Jealous of what?

Me :  Cause I like him 😒 that's why you're jealous.

Jotaro :  (stands)  Jealous my foot! If you have to behave like this then I am no more interested in serving you!

Sensei comes out of the shrine and tries to stop us.

Me :  Yeah fine!! Go to hell!!

I walked out of the shrine angrily...

Kumiko :  This girl (face palm) what is the matter Jotaro?

Jotaro :  I was trying to warn her against a guy in her class... But see what she did 😠. She behaves like a arrogant child.

Kumiko :  Keep a close eye on him...and let me take care of her.... Don't get caught Jotaro... An onmyouji is in town.

Jotaro :  I thought that they disappeared from here long ago....

Kumiko :  From a different town...

Next day....

I was returning late at night after watching a movie with Mahiro. I was still upset after whatever happened yesterday....even though I felt guilty I was unable to ask Jotaro to forgive me... Mahiro looked at me concerned.

Mahiro :  What's the matter Akari?... 

Me :  😨 (Startled)  N-Nothing. I just had a fight with Chiharu 😞

Mahiro : (kissing my forehead) Just say sorry to her. (Smiles)

Me :  😳 Hai.

No... Not again.... It's happening yet again.... The sky became dark and blizzard started.... All the surrounding got frozen even the humans... Mahiro!! He stood there frozen ❄⛄!

Me :  Mahiro!!!!!

Voice :  Found you at last. (Smirks)

I turned around and saw her....

Me :  You!!!! What did you do to all of them?!!

Yuki-onna :  Return the sword and I will return your lover.....

Cutting her short,  I turned into yokai and draw my sword attacking her beheading her... Only to find her body turning into snow...

Me :  Damn! She fooled me!!

Yuki-Onna :  (from behind)  Your anger is your weakness... Let's freeze it down!

The area got covered with thick fog making it difficult for me to see anything... She started making her ice in the shape of butterflies and sending it towards me.... As it came in contract with my skin it bursted freezing that part of my body.

I sat down on the ground trying to regain my strength.

Me :  Cold.... (Blurry vision) No... I will have to save Mahiro.... (Somehow I got up)

All of a sudden I got a punch on my face making me fall down again... The Yuki-Onna was standing in front of me...

Me :  (thinking) Why...am I always so helpless... Why am so weak?!!

Blood drops fall all over the place.... I lifted my head and saw her cut in two pieces as the lifeless body fall down.... Mahiro was seen standing with a sword in his hand... His face covered in blood and his eyes have changed it's color to yellow....

Without thinking I got up on my feet and hugged him tightly.

Me :  I thought I lost you... Arg!!! (Blood came out of my mouth)

His Kanata pierced through my chest....

Me :  B-But why?.....

Mahiro :  (puts his hand on my cheek) Cause your end has come...

Me :  B-But I trusted..... You lied to me?....

Mahiro :  You lied... I lied.... Now goodbye....

The sword gave a yellow lightning giving my whole body shock.... I shouted in pain....

Me :  Ahhhh!!!!!

Mahiro :  What a pest...

He grabs my throat and uses his electric magic.... My voice.... It's not coming out anymore.... Everything went black after that....
