Martyn was one for being the childish, funny, adorkable person in the relationship. Rythian was the calm, silent, protective one. So they evened each other out perfectly, that's what made them the perfect couple. 

But there was always one thing they didn't agree on. Today, that thing was a cat. A black cat.

"Hey Martyn, look a cat." Rythian said starting to play with it, Martyn looked over and frowned, he had nothing against cats, just black ones. Him being a bit superstitious and all. "Can we keep him?" Rythian asked in a playful matter. Martyn just continued to stare.

"Uh...no Rythian, where not keeping a black cat. It will cause us bad luck." Rythian frowned and looked at him with pleading eyes. Martyn was not used to Rythian acting like a child. "No Rythian."

Rythian sighed and dropped the cat, walking into the tent. Martyn sighed then felt something warm go around his legs, he looked down and saw the cat, he froze, but he then started petting it. Martyn sighed, "Fine Rythy, we can keep him." Rythian came out of the tent with a smile. He hugged Martyn and the cat.

"Lets name him Sapling!" Rythian said smiling. Martyn smiled, "okay, Sapling..."
