okay so now i like my geography teacher and geography is one of my favorite classes now coOl anyways

i didn't have him yesterday, but according to a bunch of people he put up a sign, basically saying that his classroom is safe for and accepts all lgbt+ members.

i was sososososososo happy when i found out, but one of my friends was complaining about

she was like "i don't see the purpose of it. he doesn't have to put up a sign! i think gay people are just attention seekers. they're all like 'we get bullied for being gay' but straight people get bullied too."

and i was trying not to flip shit because i'm technically out to my school but not everyone knows so i'm kinda not out to her and i was like "well it's a good thing you know. he's just showing support. it's really nice for the lgbt kids, you know?"

and she goes "well there aren't that many so i don't see the point"

and i almost laughed because i could name at least 20 or 30 lgbt kids on our team, let alone in our school 

i wanted to punch her

she was like "uGh it's like putting up a sign saying 'we accept all races'" and i was thinking what is wrong with that???????????

and the worst part was that she was like "but i support it"

honestly????

we need that sign because of people who don't understand why it's up
