this is a rant fyi

it really bothers me when people shame others for only watching the anime and not reading the manga. like some people can't afford physical copies of books, or maybe they find the layout of manga confusing. maybe they just aren't that into books. maybe they have a higher attention span for something like anime. it's ridiculous to say 'well you aren't really a fan if you haven't read the manga..."

for example, i'm fucking haikyuu! trash and i've watched both seasons at least three times now and i love reading head cannons and one shots and fan fiction and looking at fan art and i've seen the stage play sub and i really really love it but i've looked at five book stores that have manga and i just can not find it anywhere. i really want to read it, but i can't. that doesn't make me any less of a fan than someone who's read all of the manga.
