Chapter 52
(Readers POV)
Yang: Home sweet home.
Me, Yang, and Ruby returned to their house in the woods.
Ruby: I missed this place! I can't wait to surprise dad!
We all walked up to the front door and Ruby knocked on it.
Tai: Just a minute!
I heard him shout through the door. After a bit of waiting, he opened the door.
Ruby and Yang: Surprise!
Tai: Girls!
He wrapped his arms around them in a tight hug.
Tai: I was so worried about you. Please don't ever make me worry like that ever again.
They broke the hug.
Tai: You three must be tired. Come in.
(Y/N): Thanks.
We all walked in. I saw Zwei run up to me and barked at me. I picked him up.
(Y/N): I missed you too.
He licked my face and barked again. I smiled at him and rubbed his head. Zwei jumped out of my hands and went up to Ruby and Yang.
Tai: Zwei has been worried for you three.
Tai noticed that Yang doesn't have her robot arm anymore.
Tai: Hey Yang. Do you need a "hand"?
Yang: It would be very "handy".
I groaned. Do they have to tell jokes?
Tai: If you need help with anything, help is always in "arms" reach.
Tai and Yang started to laugh together. At least they think their jokes are good. A knocking on the front door interrupted their joking session.
Tai: Man. I'm very popular today.
Tai walked to the door and opened it. I looked past Tai and saw my mom.
Dye: Hey... Tai.
Tai: Hey... Dye.
The two just stood there for a second in awkward silence.
Tai: So... What brings you here?
Dye: Oh, Yang left the motorcycle I got her in Atlas and I'm bringing it back to her. It's outside right now.
Yang: Oh yeah. Thanks.
Tai: Wait, what happened to her original motorcycle?
I thought about it. I remember Yang driving it into someone, but I can't remember who. I just shrugged at Tai.
Tai: Geez.
He looked back at my mom.
Dye: I also brought Yang a new arm.
She reached into a bag and pulled out a yellow robot arm. Mom tossed it to Yang and she caught it.
Yang: Does it have new features?
Tai: That makes two.
Ruby: Three actually.
Tai: What? Yang, stop losing arms!
Yang: I guess they're not as "handy" as you'd think.
Tai: Ha. That's a good one.
I saw my mom put her hand on Tai's shoulder.
Dye: I was wondering... If you wanted to catch up and hang out, like we used to do.
Tai: Uh, sure. I'm pretty free today.
Dye: That's good. Let's get going.
Tai: Alright.
Tai looked back at me, Yang, and Ruby.
Tai: I'll be back after awhile.
Ruby: See you later, dad.
Tai and mom left the house.
Ruby: It was nice of your mom to bring Yang a new arm.
(Y/N): Yeah...
I saw Yang put her newest arm on. She moved it around.
Yang: Nice. I'm already used to this.
Ruby: Does it have any new features?
Yang: Let's see.
Yang aimed her fist at a wall and her fist flew off. I saw a wire attached to the fist and it pulled the hand back, attaching itself back to Yang's arm.
Ruby: So cool!
Yang: I like this one already. What else can it do?
(Y/N): Don't you want to try it outside? You might destroy the house.
Yang: It's fine. Trust me.
Yang noticed a button on her arm. She pushed it and the hand turned into a yellow blade.
Ruby: Oh my gosh! It's a sword!
Yang turned the sword back into a hand.
Yang: This is the best arm yet.
I walked over to a couch and sat down on it. I looked back and noticed Zwei pawing at the front door.
(Y/N): Looks like Zwei wants to go for a walk.
Ruby: I'll do it. Come on Zwei.
Ruby opened the front door. Her and Zwei walked out and Ruby closed the door. I sighed to myself.
Yang: So...
Yang put her arm around my neck.
Yang: No one else is here.
(Y/N): Uh oh.
Yang picked me up and started to go up stairs.
(Y/N): Hey! Put me down!
Yang: Nope. We are going to have a lot of fun.~
Yang got to her room and entered it. Yang threw me onto her bed. Before I could get up, Yang got on top of me and pinned my arms down. My face heated up.
Yang: Remember. The safe word is "YangBang".
(Y/N): I'm not saying that.
Yang smirked at me and licked her lips.
Yang: Good.~
I gulped. I don't think I'm getting out of this in one piece.
(Time Skip)
I got woken up by sunlight shining in my face. I rubbed my eyes and tried to get up, but I felt something holding me down. I looked over and saw Yang holding my arm. She's asleep. I got my arm out of her grasp without waking her.
(Y/N): Time to make breakfast.
I got up and put on some shorts. I walked out the room and went downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and went to the fridge. I took out some eggs and milk. I went over to the stove, turned it on, and cracked the eggs on a pan. I heard someone walk in. I looked back and saw a tired Yang.
(Y/N): Good morning, Yang.
She walked over to me and hugged me.
Yang: Come back to bed. I want to snuggle.
(Y/N): Not now. I'm making breakfast.
Yang groaned and started to lightly hit me.
Yang: I don't care. I want snuggles!
(Y/N): Yang. Stop it.
Her eyes turned red and her hair went ablaze. I sighed and flicked her on the forehead. She stopped for a second. She deactivated her semblance and tears formed in Yang's eyes.
Yang: You're so mean.
I wiped her tears away.
(Y/N): Sit at the table and wait for breakfast.
Yang just nodded her head and went to the table. I quickly finished the eggs and put them two plates. I poured two glasses of milk. I gave Yang a plate of eggs and a glass of milk.
(Y/N): I know it's not much.
Yang just grumbled. I kissed her on the cheek.
(Y/N): After breakfast, we can snuggle.
Yang started to quickly eat her eggs. I sighed and took the other plate of eggs and milk and sat down next to Yang.
Yang: Thanks for the food.
I looked and she already finished her food.
Yang: Snuggle time!
She grabbed my arm and started to drag me.
(Y/N): I didn't even get to eat.
Yang ignored me and kept going. She dragged me into the living room. I saw Ruby walking down the stairs.
(Y/N): There's food in the kitchen.
Ruby: Thanks.
Yang dragged me up the stairs and into her room. We went to the bed and we laid down on it. Yang wrapped her arms around me tightly.
(Y/N): How long are we going to stay like this?
Yang: When I'm done.
I sighed and wrapped my arms around Yang.
