(Yang's POV)

Me, (Y/N), Ying, and Marrow are inside the Dust mine and we are killing any Grimm we find.

(Y/N): I have to say Ying, you are surprising me with your fighting skills.

I looked over and saw Ying punch a Beowolf into the ceiling. She jumped up and kicked it to the ground, killing it. She landed on the ground safely.

Ying: Thanks (Y/N). I learned a lot from Aunt Raven.

I sighed to myself. I really don't want to hear her name. I saw some more Beowolfs show up. I saw Marrow turn to me.

Marrow: Hey, have you and (Y/N) ever thought about branching out a little? You always pair up, but I don't know if your styles really-

I activated my semblance and used my gauntlets to shoot myself forward at a Grimm. I slid under it, attaching many bombs on it. I saw (Y/N) shoot his shield at me. I grabbed it and stabbed it into the Beowolf. I threw the Grimm in the air. (Y/N)'s shield pulled the Grimm towards him. He jumped over it, letting the Beowolf crash into two more. I set off the explosives, killing all three Grimm.

Ying: Amazing!

Marrow: Really, really good stuff! Yeah, keep it up.

(Y/N) looked at Marrow.

(Y/N): Still think it's a bad idea for us to split off?

Marrow: I stand corrected.

(Time Skip)

Me, my team, and Ying returned to our room in Atlas Academy. (Y/N) walked over to a nearby tv and turned it on.

(Y/N): Geez. Grimm always have to show up when you really don't want them to.

Ying: I know, right?

Ruby: So Ying, was (Y/N) nice to you?

Ying just nodded her head.

(Y/N): I'm always nice.

Weiss: That's just a lie.

(Y/N) stayed quiet and went to watching tv. Ying giggled a little. I heard a knock on the door. I looked over and (Y/N)'s mom walked in.

Dye: You're all here. I want Yang and Ying to come with me.

Yang: Ok.

(Y/N): Just don't embarrass me mom.

Dye: I'll try not to.

Me and Ying walked out the room. (Y/N)'s mom walked down the hall and we both followed her.

Yang: What do you need us for?

Ying: Some kind of secret mission?

Dye: Nope. (Y/N) told me a lot about you Yang.

Yang: He has?

Dye: Don't worry, he didn't say anything bad.

We walked outside of Atlas Academy.

Dye: He told me that you lost your motorcycle, so...

She pulled out a button and pushed it. A yellow motorcycle drive itself over to us. My eyes went wide and I got excited.

Yang: You got me a new bike?!

Dye: Yep. She's all yours.

I ran over to it and checked it out. I can't wait to give this a test drive.

Ying: That's so cool.

Dye: I got it for you to say thanks for watching over my baby boy.

She tossed me the button and I caught it.

Dye: Push that button, and the motorcycle will come to your location.

Yang: Oh yeah. I'm going to have fun with this.

Dye: I need to get going. Enjoy your gift.

She walked back into Atlas Academy. I gave the button to Ying.

Yang: I'm sure I can trust you with this.

Ying: You can count on me.

(Readers POV)

I'm flipping through the channels on the tv, trying to find something to watch.

Ruby: Find anything good?

(Y/N): No. Just political stuff happening in Mantle right now.

Weiss: The one with my father?

(Y/N): Yeah...

I heard the door open. I looked and saw Yang and Ying walk back in.

(Y/N): That was fast. What did mom need?

Yang: She just gave me a gift.

Ruby: That's nice of her.

Ying walked up to me and started to flip through the channels.

Ying: Why isn't there anything good?

(Y/N): That's what I'm thinking.

A commercial for a video game came on.

Ying: Oh my god! I love this game!

Yang: You do?

Ying: Yeah! I used to play it all the time!

(Y/N): "Grimm May Cry"? Can't say I ever heard of it.

Ying: Trust me, it's really good. We have to play it sometime.

I got a message on my scroll. It's from my mom, saying that she needs us for something.

(Y/N): Let's get going. We're needed.

Everyone nodded and they left the room. I looked back at the tv and saw that the commercial said that the game is going to come out in a month.

(Y/N): Interesting...

I walked out the room and closed the door behind me.

(Time Skip)

We all made it to the training grounds. I noticed Nora, Ren, and Jaune fighting Neon and Flynt. They noticed us and they stopped their fight.

Neon: Hey! What's up?

Neon skated over to me.

Neon: It's been how long since we last saw each other?

(Y/N): Oh yeah, I saw you at the Vytal Festival. Weren't you the one that lost your match?

Neon: You want a rematch? I'm sure you and your "big" friend won't beat me and Flynt again.

She pointed at her chest when she said big, clearly taunting Yang. Yang cracked her knuckles.

Yang: I was going to go easy on you, but you're clearly asking for it.

Neon: Alright then. Come on Flynt!

Flynt: Fine.

The four of us made it to the middle of the room. Me and Yang got ready. Neon rushed over at me. I jumped up and shot my shields at her, trying to hit her. She dodged them and jumped up at me. Neon kicked me down to the ground. I quickly got my shields back. Neon rushed over to me again. I blocked her with my shields. I looked over and saw Yang fighting Flynt.

(Y/N): She'll be fine.

Neon: Keep your eyes on the prize.

I looked and Neon is gone. I heard her behind me. I tried to hit her, but I missed. She tried to hit me, but I grabbed her arm.

(Y/N): You are definitely not the prize here.

I swung her down into the floor. I started to spin while holding Neon. I threw her at Yang. I ran over and kicked Flynt away.

(Y/N): Yang! Switch!

Yang: You were having trouble, weren't you?

She winked at me and went to fight Neon.

(Y/N): Shut up.

I turned my attention to Flynt. Three clones of him appeared. They all blew their trumpets, making a huge sound wave. I put my shields up. The sound wave hit me, slightly moving me back.

(Y/N): That music sucks.

I activated my semblance and started to move forward. Flynt tried to push me back by making the sound wave bigger, but I kept moving forward. I grabbed him and threw him backwards. I saw Yang throw Neon at Flynt, making the two collide.

Yang: Let's finish this!

(Y/N): This brings back memories.

Yang rushed over to Neon and Flynt. She punched them over to me. I swung my shield at them, sending them into the air. Yang and I jumped up and kicked them down. Yang places a bunch of her little bombs on my shield. I shot it down at Neon and Flynt.

Yang: It's over.

We landed and turned around. Yang set off the bombs. We fist bumped without looking at each other.

(Y/N): Too easy.
