After the Island exam the students could enjoy their summer vacations on the luxurious ship. A nice break after the hard exam they had before two days.
The sun was shining through the windows of the ship and signaling everyone a new day was here.
A certain girl was still sleeping while everyone was enjoying their vacations.
Some girls went swimming in the pool, some boys eating a nice lunch at a good restaurant while Horikita was spending her time with her classmates who wanted to spend time with her.

Amber eyes were looking out the window as the boy was thinking how it will go between him and a certain girl he had kissed before three days.
He wanted to court her in most best way and with the problems they have through the school and their class, it was impossible.
In some way life itself was his enemy right now.
The brown haired boy decide to talk to her about it and walked out his room while he was heading towards Y/N room.

Meanwhile Y/N was up and got ready for the day as she was thinking about the possibilities what Kiyotaka wanted to achieve with her.
Did he develop feelings for her? Or was he just using her?
The girl was looking at her reflection as she lifts a hand to touch her bottom lip gently.

"I don't know how this will even end but hopefully a happy one."
She whispers and stepped out the bathroom.

Walking towards the wardrobe a knock interrupt her and made her wonder who it mind be.
She walks towards the door and opens it.
Her eyes catch a certain brunette in front of the door and made her eyes widen a bit as she lets a quiet "Oh" out.

"May I come in?"
He asks her in his usually monotoic voice while he was looking at her.

Y/N nods and stepped aside to let him in as she closes the door behind her.
"I haven't expected that you come."
She tells him as she walks to the wardrobe to look for a good outfit for today.

Ayanokouji looks around the room and sits down on her bed while he watches her.
"I needed time to think, so I couldn't visit you like usually."
He told her truthfully and watches her standing in front of the body mirror next to her wardrobe.
She was holding two outfits next to each other for comparing which looks better on her.

"You should take the left one."
He adds casually in his bored way as Y/N turns to look better at him.

The girl smiles lightly and decide to trust his fashion style this time.
She puts the right one back where it came and closed the wardrobe.
"Thank you, so about what you wanna talk with me?"
She asks him and puts the outfit on the desk while she went to sit next to him on the bed.

Facing him and excepting a disappointing result where Kiyo would say that they should stay friends and the kiss was just a accident.

His eyes scanned her face carefully and looks then at her hands who seemed empty as he took her left hand in his right and hold it gently.
"You know very well that I'm not the best when it comes to feelings as well the topic love. I don't know what love is and maybe I will never know what love exactly is."
He stops in his tracks to choice his words carefully and looks at her reactions.

Yet Y/N let him continue to talk and knew that he would something say like this. After all she knew Kiyotaka so long that the fact he could never love her probably like other boys would love her.
A person who doesn't know what love is, can't love and never will.
But the girl knew Kiyotaka and some day in the future, maybe he could say 'I love you' with his whole heart and mean it truly. Even its just a small hope, she believes in it quietly.

The girl squeeze gently the hand of Ayanokouji and let him know that he can continue to speak.
"But you are important to me. You were and are my motivation the whole time."
The boy lets go of her hand and grabbed gently her cheek while he went with his thumb over her cheekbone.
"I realized through the years how often you taught me things without a reason, how much I enjoy the time together and most important you never tried to use me."

Kiyotaka lifts his other hand and grabbed her other cheek as he looks directly in her eyes while he continues to talk:
"Maybe I will never love you probably, not like a normal boy but I'm much more me when I'm with you.
Thats all I need to know for asking you if you wanna be my girlfriend?"
He lets go of her softly and stares with his piercing amber eyes.

His somehow confession of how he feels made Y/N realised that being important to Kiyotaka was more then rare since he never cares for others.
It was clear that he doesn't love her like she felt about him, it was uneasy and for every person impossible to be with such a boy.
After all he can in any moment throw you away when you become useless.
Yet somehow being important was enough for her to try atleast.

She looks back at him and saw his neutral expression as she hestitates to put her hand against his right cheek.
His skin was soft and warm against her palm.
"I agree to be your girlfriend and to try this."
Y/N gives him a small smile and leans in to kiss his cheek as she pulls him in a hug.

The brunette wraps one arm around her waist and with his other he pats her head.
"I can't promise you much."
He whispers and holds her close as he hears her giggle softly in his neck.
"You don't need to. I just want you,Kiyo. That's all."
She whispers back and closes gently her eyes while she enjoys their first real hug after so long.

Y/N knew that they need to keep their relationship a secret and act as always outside of their rooms but right now she doesn't care.

After few minutes Y/N pulls away and looks back at Kiyotaka who leans his forehead against hers.
"You don't need to worry, we will decide when everyone else knows about our relationship until then we act like usually."
He told her and the girls nods as she wraps her arms around his neck while the boy wraps his arms around her waist to pull her close against his chest.

They stayed for few seconds like this before both lean into each other as they close their eyes and shared a second kiss.
Y/N's lips impossibly soft against Kiyo's, moving slowly in a romantically rhythmic.
Her cheeks flush and she felt a warm feeling building up in her body while she plays gently with the end of his hair.
His hands were warm against the lower back of her and rub gently circles on it.
After not so long they pulled away and panting heavily while their heartbeat was a bit faster then usually.

Their first kiss made Y/N speechless yet their second kiss made her feel warm and loved.
No matter the fact that they both were still newbie when it comes to kissing someone, somehow the brunette could always steal her breath away.

'Her lips are so soft..'

Before both could lean in for a third kiss a sound interrupt them.
Someone was calling Ayanokouji as he pulls away from his girlfriend to look who it could be.
As he pulls the phone out of his pocket he saw that it was one of the boys as usually.
He didn't pick up and put his phone back into his pocket.
"What do they want?"
She asks him curiously and was happy that Kiyotaka got along with the boys.

His ambers eyes look over to the girl and shrugs as he leans down to lay on the bed.
"I can guess they want to make a plan again to get the girls on video in their underwear like last time."
He told her and stares at the ceiling as he puts his arms under his head.

Y/N leans her head a bit to look better at him as she raised a eyebrow.
"Thats not nice but I haven't excepted anything else from teenagers boys."
She says casually and looks over to the desk.

The girl stood up and grabbed the outfit for today as she went to change into it.
It didn't take long before she came back out and hovers over him with a bright smile.
"How do I look? Amazing? Breathtaking?"
She jokes as she shows him and puts her hands on her hips.

Ayanokouji leans on his elbows as he looks over at her.
"You look gorgeous."
He told her and sits straight as he leans his head on his hand.
"Where you do wanna go?"
Kiyotaka asks her with his bored expression.

"I'm hungry and I wanted to walk around the ship, if you wanna join me, Mister Boredom?"
She says cutely in a teasing way as she giggles and holds her hand out to him.

The brunette just watches her and closes his eyes as he sighs softly.
He grabs her hand and stood up;
"We can go to this restaurant where I ate once alone. Usually the other students don't go there."
He told her and Y/N agreed with a smile.

"Sounds like a lovely place to have our first date, no? Don't worry, you will pay for our meal for not dressing elegantly."
She teases him with a cute grin as he watches her walk out the room before him.

"Who let you be so mean today?"
He asks rhetorically and followed her close behind.

It was a little hot but nowhere near unbearably so. She could feel the trickle of sweat on her brow and the warmth of the hard surface beneath her.
Thankfully the sky was turning slowly dark and signalling everyone it becomes night.
Her legs were walking next to Kiyotaka as she was drinking a cold mango smoothie after they meal together.

"I never saw a girl eat so much like you today, you made me poor."
He told her and leans over to take a sip of her smoothie.

Y/N wiggled with her eyebrows as she smiles.
"Don't be mean, I was hungry and who ordered a second plate of Tako-yaki. You knew I would never say no to them."
She adds and points a finger at him as she boops his nose.

Kiyotaka let her do as she pleases before he lifts his smoothie between their faces and let her have some of his.
It was a peach smoothie and he could read of her reactions that she liked it too.

'She seems to like it..'

They continued their walk next to each other and enjoyed their peaceful moment just between them.
It was rare to spend time just the two of them and today somehow they had luck.

"Kiyo."
She says softly as she finished her smoothie and threw it into the trashcan that were close to them.

"Yes?"
He followed her act and put his hands into his pockets as he watches her lean over the railling of the ship. Her hands were on the rail as she watches the ocean in front of her.
The wind made her hair flow and it seems as if she was relaxed as well happy.

While he leans against wall across from her - he was behind her. More on her right, so he could be close to hear her and watches her.

It was quiet where the two were on the ship yet you could hear the laugh from the others in a far distance in the background.

"Thank you for today, I really enjoyed it as well for letting me be so close to you.
I kinda of missed this...."
She tells him softly and turns to look at him with a unreadable expression.

"I missed you."
Her words were so soft and so quiet that the wind took it with him as he brought them towards the boy they were addressed to.

Kiyotaka listens to her as he starts to walk towards her and stood next to her.
He leans down to kiss her forehead and went with his hand over her hair.
"You don't need to thank me but I appreciate it."
He told her quietly as he leans back to look at her face.

Her eyes were close as she enjoyed the moment between them.
His eyes stayed on her face as he leans down to kiss her forehead again but this time he whispers something something made her heart skip a beat.

"I missed you too."

How could a boy who say such things with a emotionless expression touch a heart of a girl so deep?
Nobody knows and no one will.
The only possible answer would be that the girl was in love and hopefully for the sake of her, nothing and no one shall come between them.

But life always finds a way.

How you paraphrase it, depends on the person.
