T I C K. Tock. Tick. Tock.

Time had stopped.

The World had stopped.

The Universe had stopped.

Tears of the Sky were crashing on the earth.

Rain.

Two pair of E/C eyes were looking out the window watching the raindrops running down the glass while the little girl was amazed of the outside world. She wants to go out and be free, flying through the sky and doing what she sings so often about; freedom.

Never ending white surrounding her as she sighs before a hand grabbed her smaller one and looks to the person who hold her hand. Amber eyes stare at her and then through the window as well. The little girl lifts a hand and ruffles his brown hair that surprised the boy a bit yet he was used to her weird habits of teasing him or was it more giving him comfort? No matter what, he kinda liked it.

"Kiyo, what do you think?"
The girl looks back out the window and placed both her hands on the surface of the window while she breaths against it. Her warm breath made the glass blurry and starts to draw on it with her pointing finger.

"What I think? About what?" He asks her and watches her making the window dirty with her breath and little drawings. She smiles softly and points at the large trees outside; "How the world outside is?"

After few seconds she starts to talk again this time with a softer look on her face and voice;
"The world is a place full of adventures with fascinating surprises,
I know that we learn that everything and everyone is a tool while our emotions are just a burden but...I think its wrong. Our feelings matter."

She grabs her white shirt tightly against her chest and took a deep breath.

"Kiyo, I wanna be free, I wanna live and enjoy what the world has to offer no matter how bad or how good it may be. I know you want also to be free, just like the white bird we once saw through the same window."

The first time Kiyotaka Ayanokouji didn't know what to say and his eyes widen by the unknown feeling in his body. It was a fluffy warm emotion in his body while it had started as Y/N talked about her feelings and his hidden desires to be free from the White Room.
Her E/C eyes were filled with tears as she stood in front of him with an expression full of different emotions. Her eyes seemed sad yet she was smiling softly through the trouble they endured everyday.

"When the day comes we get out of here, Kiyo. Promise me to stay be my side for eternity and finally be free, together?" Her voice send him shivers down his body the first time in his life as he admired her sincerity and direct way. The first and last time she ever saw Kiyotaka Ayanokouji had a small smile on his face even his eyes remind monotoic.

The little boy reached to take one of her hands in his; "I promise, I will work hard for that, Y/N."

True be told that this little girl always surprises small Kiyo who was taken back by her tight hug.
She holds him close and had her small arms around his neck while she closes her eyes. His amber eyes looked down at his hands who didn't know where to put them but after awhile even he starts to relax and embraced her too.
He pulled her close and let his body enjoy the warm she gave him.
A hug wasn't so terrible how it seemed. Closing his eyes and remaining like this for a bit.

Unknown to the little kids someone was watching them and find it interesting the whole concept of the unexpecting events.

The wind was howling and the clouds moved through the dark night. Everyone was deep asleep while one particular girl awoke.

A loud gasp could be heard from afar as a young girl sit up in her bed - her body was full of sweat and her breathing was heavy while her heart was beating fast. Her hands were on her head as she closes her eyes - trying to calm down.

"It was just a dream.."
She mumbles as she sighed when her body start to relax.
Her hands push her hair back and looks up at the ceiling seeing nothing; just darkness.

Every dream she had that seemed to real not to be a dream, she awoke as if it was a nightmare. Her head was hurting as if her brain tries to heal themselves and tell her that all this bizarre dreams were her past.

The girl sit at the edge of the bed and looks down at her hands while she sighed; "When will this dreams end?" Her legs guide her out the bed and to the window when she closed the curtains - she felt how tired she was.

"Maybe taking a short walk and buying a bottle of water, will help."

Changing her clothes to a pair of jogging pants, a shirt and a jacket with pair of shoes. She sighed and walks out her room quietly. Her legs guide her through the building until she was outside, standing at the entrance of the building. Her eyes look at the night sky and watching the stars sparkle.

"The sky breaths life.." She mumbles as she watches how beautiful it was as she heads towards a vending machine not so far away.

Quiet steps could be heard through the sky as she walks towards the vending machine when she arrived there her heart skipped a beat from the short fear but it was only Ayanokouji who bought a drink. His eyes catches her and both just stare at each other until he broke the silence; "You cant sleep either?"
He asks her and open his drink while the girl choose a drink for herself as she nods yes.

"I wanted to buy some drink and take a short walk, maybe it will help me make me tired." She answered him truthfully as she pulls her cocoa bottle out as she stood straight next to him.

Their height difference wasn't much after all Y/N was 1,68 m taller then the average height from japanese girls and Ayanokouji seems to be 1,76 m tall.
"If you want I can company you."
He tells her shortly and watches her reaction as she looks slightly up at him.
"Sounds good to me."
She adds and shakes her bottle of cocoa while they start walking through the streets.

Opening the bottle and taking a sip, she lets a hum out and enjoyed it.
"If you wanna take a sip, just ask."
She lets a small light laugh out to make it not so weird between them.
The silence wasn't terrible it just was for her a bit uncomfortable.
Amber eyes watches her how she looks up at the sky and admiring the stars.
He followed her gaze and could see some star constellations.

"You like the stars?"
Kiyotaka asks her and took a sip of his own drink while they walk slowly towards a bench to sit down. E/C eyes were staring back at the boy who was bored of life.

"Its it fascinating?
A billions miles away are just balls of gas who are burning so far yet being so beautiful while make our night shine next to the moon.
You can just call it curiosity for the Universe." She answered him with a soft smile, the same one she gave him when they were kids.

'She is the same Y/N i know, only difference is she had grown up. I will wait until she remembers me completly until then we will see.'

"Its good to be curious, to have a motivation." He told her and finishes his drink while he stood up to throw it away. Her eyes followed him and thought about why he was in this school and what he wants to achieve but maybe she will find it out through the years yet she was just curious for his motivation. Since he was different not like the other students here but Ayanokouji had much to hide, very deep just like the silent atlantic ocean.

"Kiyotaka, do you have a motivation to keep going?" She asks him with curious eyes and finished aswell her drink when she stood up her eyes catches his for a brief second when he looks towards the stars and back at her.

"Who knows? Maybe the answer lays in the stars you admire so much."
his answer was vaguely and cryptic yet somehow the young girl guess that this boy in front of her didn't trust easily people, what in her opinion was a good and bad thing, even being careful was always a good sign.

"Then i will wait until the stars answer." She adds with a small smile and threw the bottle away when her eyes catches the phone of Kiyotaka in his hands.

"Shall we exchange our contacts?
After all we are desk neighbours."

Ayanokouji holds his phone as he waits for her do the same, after few seconds Y/N took her phone out and both exchange their contacts as she shows him how she saved his contact under the name "KIyo".

'Old habits die hard, it seems she will always call me like this, interesting.'

"By the way what do you think about the point system? Isn't it a bit suspiouses that we got so many points? I think thats a trap from the school and everyone is falling into the trap,
no school is kind enough to give you so much money for nothing in return." She puts her phone back into her jacket pocket as they walk back towards the building where their rooms are.

'Intuition? Yes, her Intuitions never betrayed her.'

Ayanokouji puts his hands in his pockets and was relaxed next to her.
No matter how many years they spent without each other, he could always relax a bit when she was close to him. Was it a accident she sat in front of him? Or be in his class? Hm, sooner or later he will find it 0ut.

"I agree, something is wrong but we will see on May 1 until then we should be careful spending to much points on trivial things." He answered her in his usual monotoic voice and expression.

Not long and they were already inside the building as they said their goodbyes and went towards their own rooms. While the girl had fallen asleep peacefully this time, was the young boy still awake and looked at his phone.

Y/N L/N, his third contact.

Being confused at the unknown feelings that appear for a moment and asking himself in the safety of his own presence and room;
"Why she left me? After making me promise her to be by her side forever?"

His amber eyes stare at the phone and sighed while he thought of the fact that Y/N hasn't changed at all. Kiyotaka remembered how she never changed no matter what they did to her, never lost her smile, her feelings, her optimism even her warm how he describes her aura.

"She is the only thing i have not excepted to appear here."
He whispers and turned his phone off while he rolls on his side to place the phone on his nightstand.

Hey Guys! Here is Author- Chan, I was excited to finally start the story and see how your thoughts are about it.

I start the story a bit differently then in the anime yet do not fret, i also follow the episodes and whole storyline.

Btw I need to say that I'm a only anime watcher and haven't read yet the manga and light novels.
