Hello there Wattpaders!  As you may have seen from the previous update, this book now has over 1k views!!!!! I seriously cannot tell you how happy I am that so many people are reading and enjoying my work.   I am so, so, so happy about this.  Thank you all for your continued support for me and this book as well as for being so very patient with me and this story.  Thank you all!!!!  Now, let's get to what you actually came here for!  On to the chapter!

Yun's POV

"You're late" I bluntly state as Jae-ha lands on the ground with Huan in his arms

"Sorry Yun-kun, but it took us a while to locate the village we are heading towards. We have located a village but it is small and we don't know if that is the Yang Warrior's or just a camp that has been set up." Jae-ha reports as he sets Huan down onto the ground

"A camp?" Yona asks with a confused expression on her face

"We are very close to the Sei boarder and the Water Tribe; that means that many merchants and travelers come through this general area often.  The path that we are on right now is a less frequently used one, but you can tell that it is used from time to time based on the fact that the dirt is much more packed down here rather than when we were traveling to find the Yin Warrior." Hak explains.  "So a few, small settlements have been set up around this area for travelers and merchants to rest at."

I nod to Hak; thanking him for the explanation before turning my attention back to the others. "Either way, we should head in that direction just in case, and if it's a camp, then we can possibly stay there for the night, or at least restock up on supplies."

"Zeno agrees with the kiddo." Zeno states in-between bites

"Ah! Zeno! That's our last apple!" I shout

"....." Zeno looks at me for a moment before looking back at the mostly eaten apple in his hand. "Zeno is sorry..."

I sigh as I run my hand down my face. "It's fine, just don't do it again." I scold him. "Come on, let's get going. We have to get to that settlement before nightfall"

Everyone nods in agreement and we gather our few items to get ready to set off.

As I walk towards Shin-ah to help him navigate, I pass Jae-ha. I lightly glare at him as I pass by, however, just before I completely pass him I feel his hand on my shoulder; stopping me.

"What do you want?"

The much taller male looks at me with a slightly saddened expression as he tells me, "I talked to Huan dear..." His eyes droop a little before looking back at me. "Take care of her for me" is all he says before walking away; leaving me confused.

I stand there in my confused state for a little while before brushing it off. 'That green beast is so confusing'

~Time Skip~

"May we please rest for a bit?" Huan asks out of the blue

"We don't have time; it's almost sundown." Kija states while pointing to the quickly darkening sky

Huan looks Kija right in the eyes and says in a desperate tone, "please"

Shock is clearly visible in Kija's face as he nods.  Huan quickly runs off into the shrubbery.

After about 10 minutes, the sky is clearly painted in vibrant hues of orange and red, and Huan has still yet to return.

"What is taking her so long?" Hak asks.  "The sun is about to set and Shin-ah said that the village is still a ways away from here."

"Zeno hopes nothing happened to Huan-chan"

"A river" Shin-ah says in his quiet voice.

"A river?" Yona asks

"A river.  Huan headed towards a river, but I can no longer see her...."

"Maybe someone should go and check on her to see if she is ok" Jae-ha suggests, and I brace to hear him volunteer himself to check. However, what I hear next surprises me greatly. "Yun-kun, go check on Huan dear. She couldn't have gone far."

"Is that such a good idea?" Hak pipes up. "What if she was attacked by bandits or something?"

"I highly doubt that. Huan dear is more than capable of taking care of herself in those types of situations. It's more than likely that she got lost." Jae-ha looks me in the eyes with a firm gaze as he tells me, "Go"

I am surprised at first but I soon shake it off and nod to him. "I'll be back soon."

"Be careful kiddo" I nod at Zeno as I walk in the direction that Shin-ah said the river was located at.

I walk for a while before I come across a narrow river; almost a stream, but not quite. I look up and down the river; when I don't see anything, I decide to walk further upstream. It takes me a while, but soon, I see a flash of purple in the fading sunlight make a sharp turn around the river bend. I run to catch up with the figure, but I soon regret that decision when I slip on one of the rocks when trying to make the sharp turn.

I brace myself for impact, but it never comes. I slowly open my eyes, and my face immediately erupts in a bright red blush. Just inches away from my face was Huan; one of her arms were wrapped around my waist and the other on my wrist.

She sighs, "You know, for all the lectures you give the others about being safe, you sure don't know how to keep yourself safe" she pulls me back up into a steady standing position before walking back over to her stuff that she left at the side of the river; leaving me a blushing mess.

"S-Sorry" I mumble out while looking down at the ground

Again, she sighs as she fills a leather sack with water as well as a wooden bowl, "The others sent you here to find me, yes?" The ravenette asks as she pours a drop of a clear liquid into the wooden bowl

"Y-Yea... What did you think you were doing!? You have been gone for a while you know!!! I was really worried about you!" I shout out without thinking, but once my words catch up with me, my face begins to get warm again. "I-I mean... Err... We were worried..... A-and yea...."

Huan doesn't even look at me and just continues to mix and add more liquids to the small bowl of water.

"H-Hey! I'm talking to you!!!"

Huan's glimmering, violet eyes meet my blue ones and it felt as if time stopped for a moment. I can hear my heart thumping in my chest and I gulp. 'Tell her Yun! This is the perfect moment!' I take a deep breath and bite my lip as I stutter out, "H-Huan.... I-I-I have something t-to tell you.... I-I" I close my eyes and bite down on my lip harder; I can feel my face getting warmer and warmer by the second. "I.... I lov-"

"I know" she cuts me off. I open my eyes to find that Huan stopped mixing the ingredients in her bowl and was now looking down at the ground with a light blush on her cheeks. "I know and I..." She pauses, "I think I love you too"

I can feel my heart rising in my chest as a warm feeling starts to surround me.

"But.... I... I don't think I can b-be in a relationship with y-you r-right now.... I-I'm sorry" she confesses; her voice getting softer by the minute.

"H-Huan...." I walk towards her and she takes a step back

"N-No, Yun.... Stop, please.... T-Tell me...." Her violet eyes look me directly in the eye and for the first time, I don't see the glimmering spark in them, I see an empty sorrow. "Tell me... Why do you love me?"
