Always Here
Hey guys, I'm back! After a month of hiatus and a lot of planning, I am finally back and ready to once again work on this story! While I was away have taken a lot of time to step back and relook at this story from the ground up. I have a lot of things planned so I hope you all with stay to find them out. Also, I will now be writing the rest of these chapters in 3rd person POV, I am just trying this out but I think that this will help the story flow a little better. Now, without further ado, let's begin!

The sun has long since set in the sky since Yun ran off to find Huan.
Yona was pacing back and forth in front of the fire while Kija, Hak, Shin-ah, and Zeno talked of plans to find the two. The only person with a seemingly calm demeanor was Jae-ha, who was sitting down next to the fire and looking into the flames.
"We should go out and find them." Kija states with a twinge of worry evident in his tone. "They are young after all and even if Huan is more than capable in a fight, if they were to be ambushed then the odds really aren't in their favor."
"I thought you didn't like Huan." Hak points out.
"I don't. I just owe her for saving me from a stampede of ants that were attacking me."
Hak just rolls his eyes. "Sure, whatever White Snake, but I do agree with you. At least one of us should go out and find them."
Zeno and Shin-ah nod in agreement. The group of four men look over to Jae-ha who was calmly sipping water.
Hak turns his head to call out to the green haired male. "Hey! Droopy eyes! Are you going to just sit there or are you going to help us find Yun and Huan?!"
Jae-ha finishes drinking the water he poured into the small dish before turning around to face the other four males. "You all worry too much. Huan dear and Yun will be fine." He smiles gently; not even a trace of worry is evident on his face.
"Hey guys!" A male voice shouts as two familiar figures emerge from the bushes. Once Yona sees the two of them she immediately runs up to Yun to pull him into a tight embrace; saying nonsense about how worried they were.
"Hey you dummy!" Kija walks up to Huan and gently hits her on the head; with his normal hand of course.
Huan's eyebrow twitches at the action. "What was that for?"
"For leaving randomly then not coming back." He scolds her. "You are supposed to guard the Princess with your life; how do you expect to do that if you do dumb things like get yourself killed?!"
Huan rolls her eyes. "Geez, sorry then." Huan looks around at the worry evident on everyone's faces then sighs. "I'm really sorry. I won't do anything dumb like that again, I promise. And don't worry Kija, I haven't forgotten what it means to travel with you all; I swear to protect both Princess Yona and Sir Yun with my life." The raven haired girl bows her head deeply as she says this. A sincere expression of determination is evident on her face.
Everyone but Jae-ha is taken aback by this act of sincerity. Jae-ha merely smiles softly; though if you were to look into his purple orbs you'd find that a certain sadness lurks within them.
Yun's face has become a dark shade of pink at Huan's statement. "S-Sir Yun?!"
Huan merely moves her head to face Yun; her expression completely serious. "Of course, I am your bodyguard after all, so it is only right I say your name with the proper honorifics."
Yun's blush darkens a bit and he is at a loss for words. He nods his head before turning to the side to hide his blush.
Hak smirks. "So Huan, did Yun tell you anything special?"
Huan blushes a small, light pink and smiles sheepishly. "Yea.... I guess you could say that."
"Congratulations Yun and Huan dear." Jae-ha butts into the conversation.
Flustered, Yun gropes for words. "W-We aren't a couple o-or anything." He huffs
"Yea... But enough about that, we should rest up so we can head out in the morning. While we were lost I think I saw the small village that Jae-ha and I saw earlier. It's a lot closer than I thought, so if we wake up early tomorrow then we should get there by noon."
Everyone nods after Huan finishes explaining. Yun cooks a last minute dinner with the small amount of rice that was left of what Huan brought along from home before the fire was dosed and everyone got ready for bed. Huan took first watch and perched herself up on a branch of a tree; her back leaning against the rough wood of the trunk. It wasn't until everyone else had long since fallen asleep that she hears a rustle in the bushes. Knowing better than to call out to the potential attacker, Huan simply waits in silence; her grip tight on the hilt of her machete. The silence continues for a few long moments until the rustling is heard again; this time from right behind her in the leaves of the tree. Huan slashes at the leaves with her blade but stops in her tracks when she hears a familiar voice.
"Well that's no way to greet someone Huan dear." Jae-ha emerges from the leaves of the tree to take a seat on the branch next to Huan.
Huan sheathes her machete before letting out an exasperated sigh. "What are you doing idiot? I told everyone to get some rest."
Jae-ha places a hand over his heart and says in a dramatic tone, "Ouch, you hurt my heart so Huan dear." Huan just rolls her eyes at his comment. "I just came up to tell you that I'm going to take my shift for night watch now."
"Ok, thanks. I'm going to be getting to sleep then." Huan grabs hold onto another branch; ready to pull herself up so that she can sleep on the top branches of the canopy underneath the night sky.
However, Jae-ha stops her before she can climb up out of sight. "Why is it that you sleep in trees every night Huan dear? Isn't it uncomfortable?"
Huan stares at Jae-ha for a minute before shrugging her shoulders. "No, not really. I like it up there; something about laying under the stars in the dead of night soothes me. Maybe it has something to do with being the Yin Warrior; I don't really know. Just, something about the darkness of the night calls me and puts me at peace. Why do you ask?"
Jae-ha just shakes his head. "It's nothing really. Just, I thought you wouldn't want to leave your precious Yun's side after all that has happened." His eyes are closed so that the sadness behind them wouldn't be seen.
Huan blushes a bit at his statement. "Well, it's not like he's going to get hurt or kidnapped or anything; at least not while all of you are around." A comfortable silence fills the air after Huan says this. After a few moments Huan looks over to Jae-ha. "Hey Jae-ha?"
"Yes dear?" Jae-ha looks back and finds that Huan is looking straight at him with a soft and sincere expression.
"Thank you." She simply says
Jae-ha chuckles a bit. "For what dear?"
"For staying by me. I know I have been nothing but a pain; always running off crying and spouting nonsense about demons, but.... You've stuck by me.... Thanks for that.... For being the best friend I've had in a long, long time."
Jae-ha smiles back at her; a sense of warmth filling his heart. "You're welcome dear." He says with pure sincerity. Huan waves goodbye before leaping off into the dense leaves of the trees. Jae-ha stares at the spot that Huan once stood; the gentle smile still on his face. "I'll always be here Huan....
Always"
