❛❛honey, it's time to wake up❜❜ his mother said shrugging the boy's body.

his ears twitched as he forced to open his eyes, groaning loudly. the sunlight that beamed through the glass window was the first thing that greeted his sleepy eyes- his sleepy face rather. the curtains of the said window was pulled to the side making it more easy for the sunlight to pass through.

his mom sat at the side of the bed and ran a hand at his fluffy black hair ❛❛you still have to go to school❜❜ she smiled ❛❛you should take a bath already❜❜ she continued.

❛❛do i have to?❜❜ he asked pouting not that he was trying to be cute but it somehow came out as that.

he's already cute though. especially with that black furry fox like ears of his peeking out of his head and his tail swaying from side to side.

his mom giggled ❛❛yes. who knows maybe this time it would be different❜❜ she smiled and ruffled his hair as she then stood up from the bed. ❛❛now go take a shower and get dressed. breakfast will be served in ten minutes❜❜

he watched his mom leave and close the door behind her back and soon as the door was closed and his mom was out of sight he pulled his blanket till it completely covered his whole body.

he heaved a sigh as he thought of the possible bad things that could happen to him to his new school. yes, new. he has been transferring schools from time to time because they didn't find those old schools were yoonbin used to go, good for him. he was bullied for his unusual looks; he has black furry ears that peeks out of his head and a tail, he was particularly similar to a cat.

most of his used to be classmates and schoolmates calls him names like monster, demon, etc. the names were particularly nasty and very hurtful to him. he was always pushed to the around and was always accused as someone who would steal something even though he isn't really that kind of person.

truth to be told. he wasn't like this when he was born, it somehow showed up when he turned 5 years old. a woman told him and her mom that he was cursed and only a kiss from a pure love, from a girl who really loves him can make the curse fade away but they eventually didn't believed it and just ignored it, till now. they moved from america to korea and is ready to start a new life.

❛❛yoonbin, take a shower already!❜❜ he heard his mom yelled from downstairs and he could already picture his mom holding up a spatula.

and his mom knew he was still lying down the bed ❛❛i will!❜❜

yoonbin lazily dragged himself and fetched the towel near his study table before heading inside the comfort room with his tail swaying from side to side.

❛❛wrong choice❜❜ he mumbled under his breath not liking the large attention being threw to him.

the students eyed him as he walked through the hallways finding him weird. he was wearing a hoodie and he made his tail go hug his sides- he made it his belt. the hoodie wasn't really helping his cat like ears were poking the hoodie that was trying to cover his head which made it look like there were two bumps at his hoodie or something.

what makes it seem more weirder is that the weather is pretty warm and it would be really hot if he'd wear a hoodie.

he ignored looks and whispers that was thrown to him and went to his designated locker ❛❛how do even open this-❜❜

❛❛need help?❜❜ a shorter girl spoke up flashing him a smile.

the girl typically saw him struggling to open his own locker and she particularly want to help him. she find her unfamiliar and wanted to ask him if he was a transferee but stopped herself.

she motioned her hands towards him making him raise a brow in confusion.

she giggled at him ❛❛the keys please?❜❜ she smiled at him.

she sure wouldn't be able to help him open his locker if he won't hand his keys for his locker to her. i mean, you guys probably already know what i mean.

yoonbin on the other side well, he uhm, he's spacing out as he admired her features. he was looking down at her since she was (pretty) short than he is but had to shrug the feeling off thinking that once this girl would know that he's a hybrid she'll stay away from him.

he handed the said keys to her as she then opened his locker while yoonbin just stood there looking at what she's doing.

❛❛thank you,❜❜ he bowed at her a little as a sign of giving respect and being thankful.

she giggled shrugging her head as she handed the said keys back to him ❛❛you're welcome. no need to do that bow thingy❜❜

❛❛is there something i can help you in return?❜❜ he asked raising a brow at him

she shrugged her head as a no ❛❛no need. anyway, i gotta go. class is about to start❜❜ she smiled at him as started to walk away waving her hand at him.

a smile made it's way to his lips as he waved good bye to the said girl. he turned to his locker and placed all his things excluding the things he'll be using for his first class.

he locked his locker and placed both of his phone and keys to his pocket. he looked at the paper that was given out by the lady that was on counter of the school's office.

the bell then rang making him slightly flinch from his place. he fastened his own pace and headed to his designated room and the teacher of his said classroom was the first one that greeted him after he opened the door.

❛❛i was starting to think that you were absent❜❜ he giggled which yoonbin only returned him an awkward smile ❛❛anyway, get in. class is starting.❜❜

yoonbin did as told and as expected, the room was chaotic; students were laughing, talking, bickering over something that yoonbin basically doesn't know what.

the teacher faked a cough loudly making the class go silent and divert their attention to the people standing in front. the teacher eventually nudge him to introduce himself.

❛❛good morning, i'm ha yoonbin. feel free to call me yoonbin❜❜ he bowed after his sentence.

the teacher nod his head ❛❛thank you yoonbin, you may take your seat beside miss kim y/n.❜❜

the said girl raised her hand up as yoonbin nodded his head to the teacher before heading off to her and sat at the vacant seat beside her.

y/n flashed him a sweet smile ❛❛we meet again❜❜

and yoonbin, well he flashed her his infamous awkward smile ❛❛yeah, hi.❜❜

the teacher fetched the chalk from the side and was about to start talking but then a student spoke up.

❛❛mister seo, aren't we allowed to wear hoodies?❜❜ jaemin said eyeing the transferee

with that being said, yoonbin felt his heart beating real fast like as if its was running a marathon, it seemed like his heart would burst out of his rib cage any minute from now because of his nervous ness.

every student on the classroom including y/n was now looking at him. not liking the attention he rolled his eyes in annoyance and gulped down his own saliva

the said teacher heaved a sigh and turned to yoonbin ❛❛kindly take off your hoodie, mister ha.❜❜

not having any choice, yoonbin took of his hoodie and yes, his black furry fox like ears were peeking out of his head it was a good thing that he made his tail his belt. he looked down to his shoes not wanting to see their judging faces.

whispers was then heard and that basically made him more annoyed but he didn't want to make a scene nor to get into a fight.

jaemin raised a brow but a smirk then made it's way to his lips ❛❛nice fox ears you got there, is that real?❜❜ he laughed as he pulled on of yoonbin's fox ears

yoonbin was facing y/n which means it was only her who saw the pain in his face when jaemin suddenly pulled one of his fox ears. she quickly stood up from her seat and pushed jaemin away causing him to let go of yoonbin's fox ears and stumble back.

❛❛mind your own business, nana.❜❜ she glared at the said guy.

he clicked his tongue ❛❛why are you even wearing those huh?❜❜ he questioned giving yoonbin a look

❛❛yoonbin has his own reason why he's wearing it, now would you mind your own freaking business?❜❜ yoonbin looked at her

the teacher nodded his head in agreement ❛❛she has a point.❜❜ jaemin rolled his eyes on the teachers statement ❛❛now take your seats❜❜

jaemin and y/n did as told glaring at each other before taking thier seats.

yoonbin bowed his head to her ❛❛thank you, y/n.❜❜

a giggle was then heard from her ❛❛you're welcome, and it was the least i could do.❜❜ she smiled which he returned her a smile too.

he's lucky to meet this girl. she was more of his savior.
