...CHAPTER THREE...

The Su Su
Lady Rowena

WHEN court lady Feral was done with her hair, she helped her to her feet and admired her. She sneered inwardly and let the lady do as she so pleased because it will kill time, enough time before she had to go and face the Demogorgon.

Do not chase him away my child.

Court lady Feral! What he allowed to happen to me is unforgivable!

You have not heard anything from him yet child.

I care less!

Please, calm down My Lady.

I hear you.

She had turned and walked away from the woman, sulking as she left her inner chambers and then her quarters. She walked down the long corridors with the court lady by her side. The rest of her retinue joined her the moment she stepped into the grounds accessible to those not of her inner court. It was like that for she trusted no one at all among them. She walked extra slowly despite the pleas of her court ladies to please walk quicker as she had a guest waiting in her palace for her. She paid them no heed them, thinking about matters that were of utmost importance to her, but she quickly became fed up of their incessant pleas after a while.

Shut it will you?! All of you!

The long retinue had gone quite at her loud voice. Her crimson eyes blazed with the irritation that she was currently feeling. She turned away from them and made to continue walking but stopped again.

All of you, stay here!

Chorus of My Lady, you can not do that rang through her ears, but she ignored them, staring straight ahead with her terrifying crimson eyes. Those furious eyes dared them to disobey her orders. They still complained about her decision but no one dared to move forward and follow her. She resumed walking to the palace, this time, alone.

Could she actually face him?

She came into the central palace after taking forever to walk there despite court lady Feral's pleas. It was the place where her throne resided. She saw him then, spying his thick black hair piled neatly at the top of his head and held in place with two beautiful white chopsticks. She saw the imperial straightness in the angle of his shoulders, the strength in the thickness of his pectorals, the power in the broadness of his back as he sat atop a golden stool dressed in all white from head to toes, surrounded by his men. They were four in number.

I am a big man, but I am gentle. I will never hurt you.

The only thing that marred the material on his body was the emblem of a fire breathing dragon which was expertly embroidered on the back of the robe with gold thread. It was a very sacred emblem, one that only him was allowed to wear for he was the master of them all, above all leaders of the clan.

He was the Demogorgon.

She was sure that he must have heard her come in but chose not to turn. But she knew him to be a rather impatient man. He had turned to look when she was no longer forth coming and their eyes had met, crimson and white.

Lily.

They stared at each other for a long long time. The time was long enough for a breech baby to be born. And then, he spoke, resting those white blanks upon her.

'The Su Su.'

'Demogorgon.'

That monosyllable... and she just knew that it was not yet over.
