Dependance and what should make you sad
(A short essay)

Never be sad for useless things. Gold with no value is a cheap mineral, whichever way you look at it.

One of the most treasured things I learned is that you should never give other people the right to decide for you. Yes, it's called "depending", but it's really more than that. It's not just leaning on his/her shoulder for support, but attaching yourself to an imaginary wall that can one day crumble. Because once you gave someone the permission to meddle with what you do, you can never be genuinely happy. You can't depend on others just to make it through the zigzags of life.

Your life should be dominated by your own mind and heart. Otherwise, you should just donate those two organs out of your system to make it useful.

Being a dependant person makes you prone to everything useless that usually makes one sad. And like I said in the introduction, you should never be sad about useless things because to top it off, it was your choice it became invaluable. You made your own "useless". Why? Because you trusted something or someone so badly that you forgot to check on the quality and reliability. Remember, man made his own life something that shouldn't be lived by the sons of God.

He was the one who put all those glory to waste.

Mortals degrade themselves.

Yes. That is one, solid fact. We all degrade ourselves in many ways. Whether we are aware of it or not. Sadness rooted from failure that is the sister of reliability wasted by dependance.

So, if you depend on somethings 'not-so-useful' and it makes you sad, that shouldn't be a reason for depression. No. Because what should make you sad and devasted is the fact that you were stupid enough to be sad about your own mistake in the first place.
