The Day I Died
Chapter 2: The Day I Died
So I will start by giving you a recap of the first half of my day:
It started off as a normal day. I went to work at Starbucks from 11 to 2 p.m. I then had my normal hour of freedom. Cara took me out shopping, because she knew my love for fashion. It was always relaxing. Now you may be wondering how I afford all these clothes. Well you see I shop for all of the gang members. They all give me $50 a week for new clothes. That’s why all of my gang members were so fashionable. Pretty much I forced them to look nice.
Cara was my shopping buddy. But I only had an hour a week to shop.
I love to shop because I was raised as a normal Maine girl, and trust me they all love to shop.
Right after I went shopping with Cara, I had her drive me to Stop and Shop. Luckily I made it right on time as always. I was just a cashier so it wasn’t like it really mattered if I was a minute or two late.
Having a job was tiring. Starbucks from 11 to 2, and Stop and Shop from 3:30 to 6. I barely have anytime left in my day.
I have my 1 free hour and then I have time to hang out with my gang. Pretty much all we do is hang out in our corner of the street.
That’s pretty much a run through of what my week looks like though. I only go shopping on Mondays, the rest of the days I relaxed and had lunch at Taco Bell.
That was the boring half of the day. Now to the night that I was murdered.
Cara came and picked me up because I still didn’t have my own motorcycle.
The gang had picked up some chinese food for dinner. It was our regular Monday night dinner, because they had a special. And of course we were always looking for a way to save money.
The night was going the same as every monday night. We ate and then we just talked for a while. 9 was when we went on our motorcycle ride. I guess it just kind of brought us together as a gang.
Cara let me ride on the back of her motorcycle. Just being on a motorcycle made me feel free in the world. We did a loop around the town. No one talked. We just rode. Nothing more.
Motorcycle rides around town were always my favorite part of the day.
We got back late that night since we had hit a bunch of lights on our ride around town. We got back just in time to witness a murder. We saw a caucasian man with brown hair, who we really couldn’t identify. The man must of thought that we would have been able to identify him and prove that he murdered this person. That was when he turned around and started shooting.
Everyone in town knew that our gang hung out here. Why they would chose to murder someone there is beyond me.
All I wanted to do was save my friends. I told them to run and ride away on their motorcycles.
While they did that I decided that I would distract the murderer. I started to run around in circles. That was when I saw the person he had murdered, and it was a pretty young blond girl.
I wouldn’t even be able to guess why this man murdered her.
After most of the gang was out of sight,I ran very slowly away so he focused on me. He shot me first in the foot to slow me down…….
I fell down and just couldn’t get back up. The shooter ran up to me, shot me in the stomach and then in the shoulder to make sure that I died.
When he shot me the second time I was still breathing. I actually thought that I might have a chance of living.
When he shot me the third time, that was when I could not take another breath. The third shot was what they call the kill shot.
I did not know why my mind was still working. Why I wasn’t just dead.
I realized that I was a ghost when I realized that I was looking down at my own body. I knew that that wasn’t possible. And when I started moving around, I officially knew that I was truly a ghost. I could walk from one end of the alley to the other!
My main thought at that point was that I was dead.
I couldn’t believe that I would never be with all of my friends and gang again. I would always be a disappointment to my family.
Yes one day I dreamed of making amends with my family. I kept it hidden. I never really saw that moment in the near future, but I knew one day that I wanted it to happen, but now it never would.
My life was actually over. Nothing I thought of doing or wanted to do would ever happen.
It was all just sinking in for me.
I didn’t know how long I would be a ghost, so I knew that now was not the time to think about me being dead. I had to get moving.
So I went over to the other body, hoping that she had become a ghost to.
But nothing. I was a lone ghost.
I looked through her jacket, and of course found nothing.
This killer didn’t want identification to be easy. He wanted to kill without being found.
That was when I realized that he had taking all of my identification too, he clearly had thought this through.
That was when I knew.
I would have to help the FBI find the killer. Even if they couldn’t see me, I would find a way to help. This killer made it pretty much impossible for him to be found. I was the only one who some what knows what he looks like.
This killer was going down.
No one would murder the Quinn Nepli and not get caught.
I never did believe in ghosts, from what I saw they were just another mythical creature meant to scare you. but now I am happy that they existed, because now I am somewhat alive.
In my mind, this is a second chance for me.
Now if I could only figure out how this ghost thing worked.
