40- Epilogue

Jimin rushed around the kitchen, attempting to throw together a couple more side dishes before all of his closest friends and family arrive for the big celebration. Looking at the amount of work and the huge mess it's created in his home's kitchen, the male now wishes he would've just ordered a couple pizzas like his husband recommended, but he was just too stubborn and determined to do that.

Speaking of the devil, Jimin's husband of two years entered the house from the back door, connected to the kitchen, holding his spatula and tongs he was using to grill American style burgers for the party.

"Babe, where's Minnie?" Jimin asked, feeling panicked as he glanced at the time on the stove. It was five minutes until noon and they were expecting their guests at any minute now.

His husband scratched the back of his head, looking slightly guilty, knowing that his spouse isn't going to be too thrilled with his answer. "He's been outside with me. I told him that he could play outside as long as he promised not to get dirty but..."

Jimin's eyes widened as his, as of today, five-year-old son chose this moment to enter the house covered in grime and dirt. He looked back and forth between the boy and his husband, as the situation unraveled itself in his mind. They all froze for a moment until-

"Min Yoongi! Min Gunmin!" Jimin shouted before pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration, attempting to calm himself down before he said anything more. "What were you thinking, Minnie?" Jimin asked after composing himself and kneeling in front of the little boy. "We have people coming over to celebrate your big birthday. We can't have you looking like a mess baby..." He pushed the dirt covered hair out of his face.

The five-your-old boy looked to the ground and pouted, making Jimin melt as he made the same face as his father. "I'm sorry, Mama. I just wanted to pway."

At that, Jimin couldn't help but cave. It's like deja vu. His son reminded him so much of Yoongi, so Gunmin had his mother wrapped around his finger just like Yoongi always had. "Aish, Gunmin. It's okay, go clean up quickly." He left a peck on the top of the boy's dark-haired head and watched as the boy skipped to the hall bathroom across from his bedroom.

Then Jimin turned his face into a glare as he looked back to his irresponsible husband. "You!" Jimin pointed and Yoongi flinched, waiting for his husband's terrifying reaction. Jimin has definitely changed a lot ever since the birth of their son, and he has only shown that more and more through the years. He's more intimidating, that's for sure. "Are the burgers finished?" he asked and Yoongi timidly nodded. "Bring them inside, and help clean up your son. Quickly!"

"Yes, baby." he nodded again and hurried to do as his upset lover asked, not wanting to worsen the situation.

The brunette chuckled at how obedient his husband can be when it comes to him. Yoongi can seem so tough and badass, especially when it came to his work at the music studio, but in front of Jimin, the bad boy facade crumbles.

Jimin hurried to put together the finishing touches of the decorations and food for the party, making sure the whole house screamed 'five-year-old birthday party'. When he finally felt like everything was done, there was a knock on the front door before it opened to reveal Taehyung carrying a couple colorful gift bags. Jungkook followed behind his husband carefully, holding very precious cargo in a pink and gray car seat.

"Jiminie!" Taehyung beamed, running over to hug his best friend after setting the presents down at the designated gift table.

The said male opened his arms and let the younger run into them. It's been a few weeks since the two boys have seen one another because the life of motherhood can be extremely busy and tiring. When Taehyung finally pulled away, Jimin excitedly asked, "Okay, now where's my little neice? I want to hold her!" He clasped his hands together, showing just how enthused he is.

Jungkook carefully unstrapped the two-month-old infant, who was sleeping peacefully in her warm car seat, very different than how Gunmin was when it came to car seats. The young dad had a face full of pride and adoration as he lifted her up into his arms. The baby started to fuss for being bothered while she was trying to nap, scrunching her face up as though she was about to cry.

"Aw, Jeon Jaehee! There is no reason to fuss. Uncle Jimin wants to see you." Jungkook cooed as he cradled her tight in his arms. He passed the baby over to Jimin, who couldn't wait to see his niece after several weeks.

Once little Jaehee was properly snuggled up in her Uncle's arms, her fussing subsided. "Aww Taehyung, you did so good with her. She is absolutely adorable!" Jimin complimented. It's not the first time he's complimented the younger about how gorgeous his daughter is, but every time he sees her, she just keeps getting cuter and cuter.

The recently married couple couldn't help but both beam with pride at the words. "Yeah, she's a good combination of both of us. Though, I'm glad she got Kookie's doe eyes!"

Jimin looked back down at the bundled baby, and he agreed with Taehyung. She does have Jungkook's eyes, but she has a fair amount of Taehyung too. He can already tell that she will have Taehyung's precious and amusing, rectangle smile. The baby really is stunning, but with her parents it's not surprising!

Taehyung and Jungkook ultimately decided to wait a while before trying for a baby. They wanted to feel completely secure and comfortable with where they were in life before bringing a baby into the mix, especially after everything they had been through. Jungkook didn't ever want Taehyung to feel scared or panicked over a pregnancy that wasn't planned again.

"Where's the birthday boy?" Jungkook asked with a wide bunny grin.

As though he were summoned Gunmin comes running down the hall shirtless with excited shrills, laughing as his dad chases after him with a small t-shirt in hand. "Yah!" Yoongi called, "Min Gunmin, come here and put your shirt on!"

Jungkook and Taehyung let out boisterous chuckles at the scene playing in front of them, while Jimin even tried to hide his own amused face. Once Jimin pulled himself together, he finally decided to help his husband that was struggling with their five-year-old.

"Min Gunmin, you listen to your father right now! If you keep this up, I will tell all of our guests that the party is cancelled and to take all of your presents home! Do you understand me?"

At his mother's demanding tone, the little boy instantly straightened up. He doesn't want his fifth birthday party to go away! He only turns five once! "Yes mama. I'll listen to you and daddy!" Jimin tried to keep his stern expression until his the little boy walked with Yoongi back down the hall, but it was hard! His tiny face was just too adorable!

----------

"Happy Birthday Dear Gunmin~~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!~~" Everyone at the party gathered around the dining table as Gunmin blew out the five candles sitting on top of his favorite strawberry birthday cake that Mrs. Kim happily made for him like she does every year.

All of the party goers cheered as the little boy struggled to get all five candles out, but he had pleased grin after all flames were eventually gone.

"Yay! Our Gunmin is so big!" Hoseok cheered from his spot at the dining table.

Hoseok is doing well. He graduated with excellent grades, and now he and Namjoon are doing well in the music industry as rising rappers and producers. They decided to start as a duo and have recently dropped their first album together. It turns out that he and their manager, Lee Ah Young, had been secretly dating for a while, but their group welcomed their relationship right away. Unfortunately with her busy working schedule, she wasn't able to make to the party today.

Seokjin volunteered to help cut the cake. He struggled to reach over the table with his six month pregnant belly in the way. Carrying twins has really made him pop within this last month. Namjoon came over to assist his fiance by lifting the cake for him. Seokjin left a peck on his cheek in gratitude.

Their whole friend group thought that their relationship was precious. It all started with Namjoon and Seokjin secretly hooking up while no one was aware. Having their relationship private was thrilling for the couple. They loved how it felt so naughty to have a secret relationship, but when Jin unexpectedly ended up becoming pregnant with their twin girls, the pair decided to open up to their friends and Namjoon proposed not too long after. It took them long enough! That's what they all thought.

Everyone at the party each enjoyed a piece of cake before it was time for Gunmin to open his presents, which the small boy was the most excited about.

He was utterly spoiled by all of their friends and family. He recieved an action figure and a stuffed giraffe, which is his favorite animal from Jungkook and Taehyung. Seokjin and Namjoon bought him a massive Lego kit. Hoseok bought him an art kit, since the five-year-old is already proving to be so creative. Yoongi's parents bought him an indoor tent to keep in his room. Lastly, Jimin and Yoongi bought their big boy his very first bicycle. The little boy had wanted one so bad that he talked about it almost every day for several months leading up to his birthday.

The smile on Gunmin's face brightened the whole room.

Yoongi started to clean up the enormous mess left behind from all of the gift wrapping, but was stopped when Jimin announced, "Wait! I have one more present for Gunmin and Daddy to open!" Yoongi raised an eyebrow in confusion. He didn't know anything about this. He has no idea what his husband has prepared.

Jimin excitedly handed his cellphone over to Taehyung, which he's been using to take many photos and videos of the day's festivities, asking his old roommate to film this part.

The mother brought an average sized box over to Gunmin, wrapped in blue, sparkly wrapping paper and another one, but smaller in size, to Yoongi. "Okay, here we go. Now open them together, alright?"

Gunmin hurriedly opened his, much too impatient to see what could be inside his extra gift box. Yoongi, on the other hand, was still entirely confused by the whole charade. "A shirt!?" Gunmin shrieked as he held the shirt up backwards, unable to see what the shirt had on the front. Throughout the room, their guests applauded and squealed in excitement, but Yoongi was still so confused.

Before the dad had finished opening his own box, he turned Gunmin's shirt towards himself to read what is said. "Best Big Brother?" he mumbled out of confusion. What's that supposed to mean?

Why would Gunmin need a shirt that says Big Brother unless-

Yoongi's cat-like eyes widened in realization as he hurried to open his own box, tossing the giftwrap over his shoulder. Inside sat a pink and white pregnancy test with a tiny plus sign unmistakably showing. Next to it sat an ultrasound photo. He lifted the image and tears filled his eyes as he saw the tiny gray speck that was labeled baby, with Jimin's name in the top left-hand corner.

"Are you serious!?" Yoongi cried in shock.

Their friends and family cheered as Jimin nodded with so much energy. Yoongi abruptly stood up, dropping the box and its contents on the floor, but he couldn't care less. He needed to kiss his husband right now. He lifted Jimin in the air and spun around in absolute glee. "We're having another baby?" he asked, just to be sure.

"Yes!" Jimin squealed as Yoongi spun him around once more. "I'm going to be nauseous if you don't stop twirling me!" he giggled.

"How long have you known?" Yoongi asked, not caring about the audience in the room. Yoongi was absolutely thrilled. He had mentioned wanting another baby before but hadn't expected for it to happen so soon. This time he will get to be by Jimin's side for the whole pregnancy, and that made the father so happy.

"I found out a couple weeks ago. It's been so hard to keep my mouth shut, but I wanted it to be a surprise for Minnie's birthday. I'm already eight weeks along!"

Yoongi gave Jimin a couple enthusiastic pecks before Gunmin asked, "Mommy, what does my shirt say?" The birthday boy had no idea what was happening or why his parents were being so loud.

The parents returned their attention towards their little boy. "Gunmin-ah, your shirt says, 'Best Big Brother', do you know what that means?" Yoongi asked. The small child cocked his head to the side and pouted with his lips that are just like Jimin's. "You're going to have a younger sibling. Mommy has a baby in his tummy!"

"Mommy has a baby in here?" The boy patted Jimin's stomach very carefully, seeming to understand.

"Yes honey!" Jimin widely grinned. Gunmin seemed to think about the situation for another moment before he nodded.

"Okay! Cool!" the five-year-old pronounced before turning back to his action figure.

The room fell into sweet, joyous laughter at the boy's nonchalant response.

Before everyone bid their goodbye's, they all went around and congratulated the soon to be second-time parents. Yoongi's mother was especially excited to be gaining another grandbaby. Taehyung obnoxiously rubbed Jimin's still-flat stomach and left a sloppy kiss on the stop of Jimin's head, while Jungkook calmly congratulated. Namjoon and Hoseok slapped Yoongi on the back and gave the male their best wishes. Seokjin told Jimin he was excited to be pregnant at the same time and hoped that their babies would be close.

When the last person closed the door behind themselves, Jimin sighed and let himself collapse on the couch next to their passed out son. He had a very exciting, long day. Yoongi sat beside his husband, resting his arm over Jimin's shoulders.

Jimin couldn't be more pleased with the way their life had turned out. He finished college, only to decide to be a stay-at-home mom for Gunmin since Yoongi made enough money on his own with his music. The young mom wouldn't trade it for anything now.

For him, Yoongi had gone from a childhood best friend, to someone he fell in love with, and eventually, after a dramatic bump in the road, he became his husband and the father to his two children.

Of course, they are not perfect, and Yoongi still gets his way most of the time, but Jimin did get the one thing he always had wanted... and that was Yoongi by his side.

"I love you, Jimin"

"I love you too" Jimin sighed in delight and peace.

"Will you stay by my side forever?" Yoongi asked, kissing Jimin's hand, making sure to press his lips to everyone of his lover's knuckles.

"Yes."
