"He... said it means cute?" Shoto asked her dumbfounded.

Yaoyorozu was smiling like a maniac as she nodded her head. "You said they were signing about you, right? Bet that means one of them thinks you're cute."

Shoto shook his head, not really believing it. "Just from their facial expressions, Midoriya's laughing and how upset Bakugou was, I assume it was Bakugou." He muttered, really not believing it.

"Hm, a little hot head, but I can see it." She said, imagining the two as a couple.

"Hey, hey, knock that off. I doubt it's true, seeing as I really only caught one sign from the entire conversation. And even if it is, just because he thinks I'm cute doesn't mean we'll end up dating. There's more to it than that." Shoto grumbled, crossing his arms as his friend giggled.

"Yeah sure, because here in high school everyone's in it for the long run." She said sarcastically. "Just have fun for once Todoroki. Don't think about how it'll affect your future and just live in the moment. Make a few mistakes, it won't be the end of the world." Yaoyorozu said while bumping her shoulder with his.

"Because living in the moment is my strong suit." He said with a roll of his eyes.

"My point exactly! Try it once, you might be surprised with how it ends up." She said with a shrug before leaving to grab the rest of her stuff.

"And how am I supposed to do that? He only seems to tolerate Midoriya and I don't even know sign language." Shoto grumbled to himself, slinging his bag over his arm and heading out the door of the classroom.

A few days later, while Katsuki and Midoriya were signing to each other in the living room, Kirishima approached them and the green haired boy's split into a grin.

"Hey Kiri, what're you up to?" He asked, having a hunch.

"Can- I can I try now?" Kirishima asked Midoriya, slightly worried about interrupting them.

Midoriya eagerly nodded. "Go ahead!" He encouraged.

Katsuki stared at them both in confusion, not having a clue what they were talking about or planning.

Kirishima turned to Katsuki and took a shaky breath. "Hi, my name's Eijirou Kirishima. Nice to meet you."

Katsuki's eyes widened in shock, before turning to Midoriya. "You're teaching dumb hair sign language?"

Midoriya just nodded, still smiling like crazy. He was really proud of Kirishima, he signed perfectly!

The blond rolled his eyes before turning back to a nervous Kirishima, who hadn't been able to pick out anything Katsuki had said besides 'sign language'. "Good job. You did it right."

Again, all Kirishima got was 'good'. "I... think he just complimented me, but I feel like he didn't." He said to Midoriya.

"He said you did good." Midoriya said, even more proud. Mainly of his best friend, who apparently was warming up to the redhead.

"Whoa, dude you're learning how to talk with your hands?" Kaminari asked, joining in on their conversation.

"That's not really-" Midoriya tried to step in, but the electric blond kept talking.

"That's so cool bro!"

"Yeah, Midoriya's teaching me. I figured it'd be a good idea to actually be able to talk to Bakugou, y'know?" Kirishima said a bit nervously.

"Dude, that's super... manly." Kaminari said, chuckling at using the redhead's favorite adjective to describe him. "Hey Midoriya, could you teach me to?" He asked.

The green haired boy instantly nodded his head. "I'd love to!"

"Oh, could you teach me to?" Mina asked, walking up to the small group.

"Bro, I wanna learn!" Sero exclaimed from across the living room.

Midoriya was chuckling as Katsuki looked at each of the teens in complete and utter confusion. "Anyone else wanna learn?" Midoriya asked.

Todoroki, who was sitting on a different couch, chatting with Yaoyorozu, spoke up. "I wouldn't be opposed to learning." He said as nonchalantly as he could. He knew that Yaoyorozu's smile probably gave it away though.

That and Midoriya's smirk as he started signing to Katsuki again.

"Kaminari, Mina and Sero all want to learn asl too." He explained first.

Katsuki rolled his eyes. "Great, now I can actually understand when they try to annoy me. Thanks for teaching them Deku." He signed very sarcastically.

"Oh I almost forgot. Todoroki wants to learn also." He said.

Katsuki's head instantly snapped to the red and white haired boy, who was already staring at him. Shoto just raised an eyebrow, as if asking why he had directed his attention to him.

Katsuki sent him a sharp glare and moved his eyes back to Midoriya, who was fan boying, but only in his head. He didn't miss the slight, slight shade of pink Katsuki's cheeks had become.

"I hate you." Katsuki signed at him.

"I going to teach a cute boy sign language so he can communicate with you and this is how you thank me? I need a new best friend apparently." Midoriya signed back, but they both knew he was joking.

"You couldn't last one day without me Deku." Katsuki signed back to him, obviously smug about how relient his friend was on him.

Midoriya gasped. "I could last one day! I wouldn't be happy, but I wouldn't die because of it."

"Sure Deku, whatever you have to tell yourself." Katsuki said with a wicked grin.

"Just go write to your boyfriend or something." Midoriya signed with a roll of his eyes, not wanting to be teased anymore.

"He's not my boyfriend and he never will be!" Katsuki signed angrily.

"Oh look, they're signing about me again." Shoto said casually from the couch he was sitting on, but Midoriya giggled and nodded to him.

Katsuki looked frantically back and forth between them, not knowing what Midoriya was going to tell him. "Deku, don't you dare tell him anything."

"You seem to be a topic that comes up a lot." Midoriya said to Shoto.

"I know what you said, you jerk!" Katsuki signed to Midoriya, causing him to laugh even harder.

"Am I now?" Shoto asked, his interest peaked all of a sudden.

"Mhm." Midoriya hummed, turning his attention back to Katsuki.

"Calm down Kacchan, I won't tell him you think he's cute." Midoriya signed with a sweet smile.

"You better not." Katsuki signed with a gumbled look.

"So you admit it?" Midoriya prodded.

"Whatever."

"Hey Midoriya?" Shoto called from the other couch, getting the green haired boy's attention. "Tell him I know how to sign cute." He said with a smirk that no one from the class had seen before.

Midoriya froze up at his words, knowing that he had messed up big time.

"What, Deku? What'd he say?" Katsuki signed to him, wondering what the other teen had said to freak out Midoriya.

His green haired friend gave him a nervous smile. "He knows the sign 'cute'."
