Helix above, i had someone draw her a while ago and i can't remember they're username🥲.

"Kacchan? Are you still pouting because I got a boyfriend two days before you?" Midoriya asked, looking at his grumbling best friend.

"No! And I'm not pouting!" He signed back furiously.

Shoto shrugged from next to him. "Looks like you're pouting to me." He signed back casually.

Katsuki looked at him, clearly offended by the remark. "Who's side are you on?"

"Mine, obviously. Who wouldn't be?" Midoriya signed with a smug smile, after sticking his tongue out at the blond. Katsuki wasn't surprised by the childish action and quickly did it back.

"Jeez guys, it's like eight in the morning. How are you already fighting?" Kirishima asked, walking into the living room and taking a seat next to his boyfriend, immediately burying his head into the crook of his neck. Kirishima wasn't a morning person.

"Todoroki and I are ganging up on Kacchan." Midoriya explained. "Why're you up so early?" He added, knowing that he wasn't a morning person.

"Bakugou seems to forget that not all of us are deaf when he stomps out of his dorm at seven thirty." Kirishima answered with a groan. The blond had woken him up and he hadn't been able to fall back asleep, no matter how hard he tried.

"Oh he does, he just doesn't care." Midoriya told him, watching as Shoto signed everything that the two were saying so that Katsuki wasn't left out.

Midoriya elbowed his boyfriend lightly, making him lift his head from his shoulder. "You know enough sign by now to be able to hold a decent conversation..." He said, trailing off.

"You want me to sign instead of talk, don't you?" Kirishima asked with a sigh. He did know a lot more sign now, but he wasn't confident in his abilities and was worried he'd make a fool out of himself.

Midoriya nodded with a small smile. "If you don't know a sign or forget one, just ask. Todoroki and I can both help." He said.

"If shitty hair doesn't want to sign, he doesn't have to. It's not like I can't read his lips or anything." Katsuki spoke up. Shoto had been signing to him what the two were saying, and it was obvious Kirishima didn't seem to keen on the idea of signing.

"No it's fine. I'm just not good at this yet." Kirishima signed to him hesitantly.

Katsuki rolled his eyes at the statement. "The only way to get better is to actually do it."

Kirishima let out a breath as he signed, "Yeah, I know."

Just then, the front doors of the dorm building opened up, alerting the students to someone's arrival. When they looked over, they say and unfamiliar purple haired woman and their homeroom teacher.

Aizawa seemed to be showing her around, but obviously not very enthusiastic about it. The woman, on the other hand, looked like she could barely control her excitement. She was nearly bouncing as they walked into the living room area.

"Mr. Aizawa? What's going on?" Midoriya asked, clearly confused as to why their teacher and a stranger were in their dorm building so early in the morning.

The tired teacher lazy looked between his students and the purple haired woman as he introduced her. "This is pro hero Helix. She's got a strong healing quirk and is going to be assisting Recovery Girl starting Monday. I was tasked with showing her around."

"Hi! It's so great to meet you kids!" She said with a broad smile that Kirishima and Midoriya returned. Shoto was to busy signing to Katsuki what was going on to care, and Katsuki didn't really smile ever, so it wasn't a surprise.

"It's nice to meet you too!" Midoriya said. He couldn't remember hearing or learning about Helix, which made him feel like a failure, because obviously she had to be good to be working at UA.

Helix looked around the entire common room area, taking in everything like an excited school girl. Most of the students that were awake that early watched in amusement. They couldn't help but thing she was somewhat of a female Midoriya.

"This place is so cool! It almost makes me upset that I didn't chose UA when I was in high school." She said with a smile, nudging Aizawa, who didn't seem to be fond of the touch.

"Stop trying to use your quirk to wake me up." He snapped at her.

She held her hands up in surrender. "I'm just trying to give you a little energy bro, calm down." She said.

"I don't want energy, I want to nap after I finally get rid of you." He said, immediately yawning afterwards.

Helix slowly and cautiously put one arm behind her, using just one finger to poke Aizawa in the back. The teacher's eyes went wide and suddenly he seemed much more alert.

"I hate you." He grumbled at her.

"I'm aware." She said, still smiling brightly.

She looked back down at the kids that were sitting on the couch and she caught sight of Shoto and Katsuki signing back and forth. Her eyes widened as her smiling got impossibly broader. "Is this the deaf kid you were telling me about?!" She asked, her voice raising slightly in her excitement.

Aizawa dropped his head into his hand and wiped it down his face. It was clear he didn't want to be around her loud and excitable personality anymore. "Yes, angry looking blond is the one I had to tell you about."

"You say 'had' like it's a bad thing." She said with a small pout before moving to kneel in front of Katsuki, her smiling slipping back on as she tried to appear unthreatening.

"What the fuck do you want?" Katsuki growled at her, using his voice that once again raspy, seeing as he didn't use it often.

"I'm sure your interpreter friend told you that I have a healing quirk, right?" She asked, looking back and forth between Shoto and Katsuki as the dual haired boy signed her words to him. They both looked confused as they turned their attention back to her.

"So what?" Katsuki asked.

She raised her hands, moving them to either side of his head. Katsuki immediately tried to squirm away, but she shook her head at him. "Just let me try something, okay? I promise it won't hurt."

He read her lips and looked over to Shoto, obviously wanting his boyfriend's input on the matter.

"If it won't hurt, why not give it a try?" He signed to him.

Katsuki looked back over at the pro hero, who was waiting patiently for him to decide to trust her. He nodded his head slowly and her hands moved from hovering over his ears to rest on them lightly.

Her hands started to glow a bright blue for a few seconds before she removed them entirely. Helix smiled at him as she stood up. "That wasn't so bad, was it?" She asked.

Katsuki eyes widened as he turned to Midoriya, who shrugged in confusion, and then to Shoto. The dual haired boy had his eyebrows scrunched as he signed, "What happened? Are you okay?"

It seemed like he wanted to ask more questions, but Katsuki grabbed his hands and held them tightly. "Say something." He instructed, his eyes starting to fill up with tears.

Shoto's eyebrows went up in surprise by the request. Katsuki always preferred signing to reading lips, so why would he-

"Katsuki? What happened?" He asked.

As soon as the words left his mouth, the blond choked on a sob and pulled Shoto into a tight hug. He buried his head into his neck and whispered, "I can hear you."
