The sun was shining, as our family finally decided to take us on "family day" too. (Usually we are left at home due to unfinished homework).
We don't know how we ended up in a park. The furthest one from our home, but we did. We liked the park, it had a spinning thingy which we really liked and some nets which if you could climb, it was like a big hammac at the top.
So, to test how athletic we were, we decided to climb up. When we reached up, we could see the whole park from there. There was another girl up there. At first, we didn't think much.
Until, a child started throwing a tantrum bc of some babies throwing food on the ground. So we somehow decided to start a conversation: "Damn... Kids these days are so bratty!" To which she added
"I know right!?"
We decided to introduce ourselves.
"I'm (dead name)! What about you?"
"I'm (girlfriends name)!  Nice to meet you!"
[not that we don't know her name, but we'd rather keep it confidential]
We gave them piggybacks, we played catch, hide and seek and decided to keep in touch.
"Hey, here's my number. I hope we can be best friends someday!"
"Yes, I hope so too."
We left the park with our family, as it was already midnight. Sadly, that was the first and last day we saw her in person.
