Yeosang fails the audition to become a part of ateez and supports them no matter what even though it kills him a little on the inside seeing his boyfriend getting further away.

The minute he heard those words he knew his idea of being famous alongside his boyfriend was crushed.

The minute he heard those words his heart dropped but not from self doubt or disappointment but simply because he knew he would be forgotten.

So he grabbed his bags and left as he was told to, he quit being a trainee not wanting to be anywhere but beside jongho and now that can't happen.

He rented an apartment in the area while being a trainee and so he lived there, his job at the local cafe helped a little.

He returned to his old routine before long and continued to support his boyfriend no matter how much it hurt.

Days passed and he heard nothing from jongho or his friends and he was getting worried so he decided to take the initiative.

There was no reply after that and Yeosang sighed with stress. He didn't want to say anything because he knew how hectic an idols schedule is but he couldn't help but feel betrayed. They used to reply to one another every few second and now the replies on jonghos end were hours apart.

He didn't think he could continue like this but he wanted to try so he did.
Months passed and the closer it got to jonghos debut and the shorter the messages became and the more delayed they were.

Yeosang just bit his lip and smiled through the pain. He could do this it was only for the first year he was sure the chaos would slow down the older the group gets, it's just an obstacle they had to face, right?

As much as Yeosang wanted things didn't change. As soon as debut hit jongho stopped replying and reading Yeosangs texts all together. The younger male was too wrapped up in his job to notice.

Yeosang once again just smiled through the pain and ranted to his friend jeon Jinho who was a new worker in the cafe and they hit it off well.

Time flew by and Yeosang saved money to go to one of the groups concerts and was ecstatic to see his boyfriend after a year and a bit. He was expecting jongho to treat him as he used to but what he didn't expect was for jongho to forget him.

When he and Jinho arrived at the stadium they got front row tickets so they could be seen and as the stadium filled up and the songs played he watched as jongho did not look at him only glanced but when he did it was like he didn't recognise him.

Sure the blondes hair had grown out a little and he wore a bit of makeup to cover his god awful birthmark.

He simply smiled through the pain again. He left immediately after the concert was over and was close to tears. He and Jinho got in the car they had borrowed off of Yeosangs mum and headed to his apartment. Once they arrived Yeosang rushed upstairs leaving Jinho who sighed hating to see his friend so upset.

Once Yeosang got upstairs, he rushed to his shelf were all the little gifts jongho had gotten him during their three year relationship before they tried for ateez. Now the fourth year on Yeosang was reduced to a forgetable minority. His heart hurt as he thought of it and cuddled up to his stuffed turtle plushy that reminded him of his boyfriend. For the first time in a year Yeosang cried his heart out, ignoring all calms Jinho tried to give.

Yeosang passed out eventually and Jinho left a note on the desk before heading home. He was angered at the fact that his friend was reduced to this over a boy, he was going to step in.

So the next few days he stayed with yeosang and always looked on Yeosangs phone reading their messages to one another and smiling.

He was going to fix this, so he copied down jonghos number and messaged the idol.

Yeosang sat beside Jinho sobbing more as he read the message again and again.

He couldn't believe jongho broke up with him after four years over text. His heart has been shattered and he just wants to die right now.

He was shaken from his thoughts when Jinho hugged him. He sobbed into the older males arms and passed out.

Jinho continuously glared at the picture of jongho and Yeosang trying to burn a hole in it from his stare.

Although he's not interested in people, he always loves his friends and hates those that hurt them.

He was revolted just thinking about the younger idol. Pain comes in many ways and this was one of the worst.

Hours passed and jongho continuously tried to message the unknown person to find out about what's going on with Yeosang but he officially gave up after a scolding from his hyungs, they had somehow found out about his betrayal and were just as upset.

And today was a day when they were pissed.

"for god sake!! Stop messaging that number and actually apologise to Yeosang you've destroyed him after forgetting him don't give me the trash that Idol life made you forget becasue you did that to yourself the minute you ignored Yeosangs texts, you still haven't even read the ones he sent.!!!! "mingi had yelled at him in the changing room before leaving to vent his anger.

He got mean looks from the rest making him exceptionally guilty.

He sucked in breath and opened Yeosangs contact seeing hundreds of messages but one patch really hit him hard.

That was the last message and seeing that he cried, jongho cried harder than he has ever before.

He clutched his phone and instantly was crushed with guilt. He regrets breaking up with Yeosang. Many people break up due to cheating or loss of feeling but him he broke Yeosangs heart due to his pride of not wanting to admit he had forgotten the person that loved him for years.

He remembered all the moments, their first date, first kiss, first time, and first apartment.

He slammed his fists on the walls busting his knuckles but not caring, he kept going until he couldn't feel his hands anymore.

The entire knuckles were shredded and bloody. He continued to cry as the day turned dark and his tears dried up.

He couldn't believe this has happened so he reached out to Yeosang. He hoped the male could forgive him and they could get over this rough patch.

Ignoring his busted knuckles, he clicked onto the typing bar and wrote in his message.

I'm so sorry Yeosang, im sorry I forgot I'm sorry I broke up with you, I'm sorry for being a jerk, I'm sorry for ignoring you, for not reading your messages, for not messaging you every chance I got. I'm truly sorry. I hope you can forgive me. I'm sorry I broke it off with you, it was my pride getting in the way because I forget, I know I cannot justify my qualms or reasons but I truly do hope we can fix this as soon as possible.
