3 years. 3 years to be exact. you've studied in this school with your one and only boy bestfriend, yeonjun. and today's your graduation day.

you're getting ready with your mom who keeps on crying saying how you looked like a baby yesterday which is... no meed to.

"i can't believe that you're actually graduating. it feels like you were bornt yesterday"- mom

your mom stopped crying and giggled. she helped you with the zipper and your graduation robe/coat/idk. (i'm sorry but i'm still 16)

you've been looking for yeonjun for 15 minutes straight and there's no sign of him. you went to every places in the school, including the garden.

there's only one place left. rooftop.

you opened the rooftop door. revealing him with flowers in his hand. he smiled at the sight in front of him.

"i knew it you're going to find me at this place. y/n... there's something i need to tell you"- yeonjun

you walked towards him. feeling butterflies already flying and dancing in your stomach. he held out his left hand for you, which you take it.

he took you to the bench nearby and sat the both of you down. he looked at you dearly in the eyes and faced you.

"i can make a paragraph but since we're running late, i wanna say this to you quickly. ever since i saw you from the first day of school, first class and lesson, first lunch day, first detention, literally everything, i fell in love you with you.

with your humor, your laughter, your crackheadness always made me feel like i'm home. our first prom date, first school project- urgh i can't list all of them it's too many.

he hold your hands and only few inches apart from your face. your face flushed in redness.

then it hits you. he proposed to you. on your graduation day. you're already on the verge of crying and there's only few minutes left till the ceremony.

"yeonjun. you don't know how long i've been waiting for this. i love you too but i'm afraid that you'll leave me and leave our friendship"- you

your eyes started to pour out the tears. you cupped his face and touched your forehead together. and you smiled.

he giggled and kissed you. and that is your first kiss. the ceremony started and you both quickly went down to the school hall.

"and now, i'll be inviting school's one of best students, Lee Y/n to give her speech"- the principal

you stepped forward to the mic and cleared your throat.

"thank you to the principal, for giving me the opportunity to give a speech. firstly, i wanna say thank you to all the teachers, subtitute teachers for teaching us, tutoring us and more. without all of you, who am i and who are we.

thank you to my friends too, especially yeonjun"- you

"that's my girlfriend!"- yeonjun

you giggled and looked down.

"thank you to my parents and my siblings. today is our graduation day and i can't believe that we finished, wasted and ended our school days. those days will be remembered in our hearts.

many things happened when i started my sophomore year. i had a severe panic attack that time when there's so many homework and a sudden big test the next day. i studied so hard until 3-4 mornings and ended in the hospital for 2 weeks.

but luckily, without my parents support, i wouldn've passed the test. and without him, my special friend that's been with me all the time. from ups and downs.

every moment and memory i created, is a special one and i can't forget about it. we all will leave this school for sure we can't go back. unless if there's an alumni happening, please call me"- you

you bowed down to the audience and went back to your seat, which is next to yeonjun.

the ceremony ended and you told your mom there'll be the last school prom and you'll be coming home late. she put a lot trust in yeonjun that she wants him to take care of you.

all of you had fun, dancing and singing your heart out, some of the probably went back home to celebrate it with their family.

yeonjun pulled you to a quieter place to see the stars. only both of you. mere silence. crickets and loud music inside the hall.
