SPECIAL CHAPTER :: AMBER

10 YEARS AFTER

FRIDAY
11:20 AM

The sky's blue hue today reminded you of the day you and Keigo got married. Your eyes scanned the ring on your finger as you lightly fixed it. The airport was slightly busy today and people departing and arriving has become a normal sight for you. Although Keigo was still a pilot, he devoted most of his time to you, your marriage of 10 years, and your lovely 8-year-old twins; Fate and Destiny.

Honestly, it was more than you could have ever asked for.

After all this time, you still find yourself falling deeper for the male and he would always remind you of how much you matter to him. He would still take you out on dates, take long slow walks at the beach, watch over the kids on his off days from work, and he still proves to you how much he has wanted to spend the rest of his life with you. You remembered the first time, after labor, when Keigo finally laid eyes on his children. The tears of happiness in his eyes and the wide smile he gave you while he parted his lips to try to talk was enough to show how much he loves his family-your family.

"Mommy?" your attention was suddenly back to Fate, who had wrapped her arms around one of your arms. "Why are you crying?" the question made you touch your cheek, warm tears flowing, and you chuckled. "Mommy's fine. She's just remembering Daddy," you patted the smaller female's head and ruffled her hair. "Don't worry, Momma! We miss Dadda too!" Destiny grinned cheekily, a smile that reminded you so much of Keigo. "I know and I'm sure he misses you too..."

The kids love Keigo as much as you did and maybe even more. Despite their father's constant absences on small celebrations, he still managed to keep up with them whenever he's home. They seemed to like making both of you proud and would always pester both of you to be sweet with one another. You always kept reminding Keigo that their names truly resembled what brought you two together in the first place.

But as much you hate to admit it, seeing the kids sad about their father always far away, makes you sad too. They would always ask you about how you two met and how you two fell in love but you could not bring yourself to explain briefly what happened. "Fate, Destiny..." the two children looked up to you, their (eye color) hues swirling with curiosity and happiness. "...Mommy loves you two very much..." The twins looked at one another before laughing and squeezing you into a tight hug.

"We love you too, Mommy!"

FRIDAY
12:10 PM

Dabi was standing in front of a door, hesitant to knock on it. His beating heart was jumping in and out of his chest and it was starting to hurt him as much as it was supposed to ease him. You had convinced him to go see the love of his life again and give it another chance. Maybe, it was a little too late but you always told him that he needed to get the closure he deserved.

"There's still time to fix everything," he remembered your words. "And even if they don't go the way you want them to, at least it is what you needed."

Dabi took a deep breath, finally getting the courage to knock on the door, his turquoise irises glued to the door as it opens to reveal the girl he had loved all those years ago until now. Oh, how long he had waited for this day. He gave a comforting sigh, holding in his own tears as the woman in front of him bit her lower lip, tears falling from her own eyes. "Is that really y-you, D-dabi?" the female went closer to touch his cheek, running her thumb along it; the warmth of her touch feeling foreign to the male as he chuckled, crying.

"Yes, and I'm finally going to make things right..."

FRIDAY
12:33 PM

Keigo and Fumikage's flight finally landed after what seemed like an endless strain of air traffic. The two males were just waiting for the passengers to exit the plane as Fumikage leaned back on his chair, stretching both his arms up. "Sir, how long has it been since you've seen your kids and wife?" he asked while Keigo tapped his fingers on his knee, leaning back as well. "Hm, about 3 weeks now... I miss them a lot..." Fumikage nodded, his back still reclined on the chair.

"Which really got me thinking, Fumikage..."

The two males had finally exited the airplane, the sun rays hitting their skin and face, causing both of them to cover themselves with their hands. The sky really was blue and Keigo smiled thinking about the day you and he started spending your lives together and a few years later, came the kids. "What were you talking about earlier, sir?" Fumikage's voice stopped Keigo's train of thought and Keigo's eyes were glued to him. "Hm, well... I have been talking to the boss recently..."

Fumikage couldn't help but get nervous at Keigo's statement. His heart was racing and he wasn't sure if he was going to take it in a good or bad way. "...There's something I need to tell you, Tokoyami..."

"What is it, sir?"

With a small click of Keigo's tongue and his hand reaching out to the male, he grinned widely, his teeth showing. "You're finally going to be the captain of this plane, Tokoyami! Or should I say, sir!" Fumikage's eyes widened and his mouth was parted while he held in the urge to laugh at the serious matter in front of him. "Sir-, you must be joking..." Fumikage straightened his gaze with Keigo's while the latter shook his head. "I'm serious, sir. I'm going to be the second-in-command now... I need to spend more time with my family and you worked hard enough for this promotion, Fumikage."

Keigo placed an arm around Fumikage and patted his back. "You truly deserve this."

FRIDAY
1:00 PM

You checked your wristwatch and pouted as it has taken Keigo longer than the expected time to arrive in the waiting area. Fate was resting her head on your thighs while Destiny started playing a game called "Count the Passengers until Dadda Arrives". You looked down on your shoes as you played with Fate's hair with your slender fingers. 'Maybe there was just a delay, your name' you thought as you watched the time again. 'It's okay...'

As if on cue, Keigo called out to the kids, causing them to whip their heads and automatically standing to run to their father and wrap him into a warm welcome hug. The laughter that erupted from them made you smile as your head leaned on to one side. You stayed on the chair waiting for them to come back as the kids started telling them stories about what happened while they were at school or while they were at home playing pretend. The smile present on your husband's face was enough to make your heart flutter and it has always been that way since.

"Sunflower," Keigo tapped your nose while you blinked, your husband's face close to yours. You blushed as he gave a soft smile, winking at you. "You were staring... Is something wrong?" You laughed as you fidgeted your fingers with Keigo finally sitting beside you and the kids on his lap. "Nothing, Keigo... I was just thinking of you!"

"You missed me, sunflower?"

"Very."

Keigo gave a hearty chuckle as he placed Fate and Destiny on the middle, cupping your cheek and giving you a soft, short kiss on the lips. He tasted like hot tea on a cold night and he felt like the comfort you needed when you feel alone at home sometimes. You were just glad to have him home again. When you both pulled away, the stars shining on your kid's faces were astonishing to look at. They really know that both of you love each other and that you both loved them both.

"The kids have been asking me how we met, Keigo..." you opened up as all of you walked up to the parking lot, you and Keigo's hands intertwined with one another and your other hand holding Fate's while Keigo's held Destiny's. "Oh? Did you tell them?" you nervously shook your head while smiling. "I don't want to do it without you, honey." Keigo felt his cheeks warm up as you finally reached the car. The kids got on the backseat, wearing their seatbelts and of course, the two of you stayed outside for a while.

"There's something I need to tell you, dear."

Keigo's voice sounded urgent and you watched as his gaze locked on to your hands holding one another. "What is it, Keigo? You can tell me anything." Keigo held your hands near his lips, giving them a peck before he looked up at you and kissing your forehead. "I gave the position to Fumikage..."

"What?"

"I want to spend more time with you and the kids, sunflower," Keigo said while your heart thumped loudly. "I can't stand being far away from all of you..."

"I love you, Keigo."

"I love you too, (your name)."

The two of you shared a passionate kiss before getting in the car, the two kids holding in their small giddy giggles. You watched as the two smiled from ear to ear, a blush creeping on their faces. "Alright, you two...what's up?" The twins just grinned once again while slowly jumping up and down from their seats. "Can we ask it now, momma?" Destiny pleaded, his hands grasping themselves tightly. "Pleaaaaase?" Fate added with a small tilt of her head.

"Alright, you can ask your father..."

"Ask me what?" Keigo looked over to you before looking back at the road, his smile pretty evident. The two kids laughed as they fought over who would ask the question but came to the conclusion that they should do it together. And just like that, the car echoed with the question;

"How did you and mom get together?"

The eight-year-olds bit their lower lips, anticipating their father's reply. Keigo pouted as he thought of how to start the story of a few years ago. He still remembered how he met you and how the two of you fell in love just like it was yesterday and you could say the same thing as well. After a few minutes of waiting, Keigo finally gave a small chuckle turning left to the road where the beach was located.

"Well, it started with two things," he brought the car to a halt, the sunset was already shining and you smiled, tears brimming in your eyes as you watched the sky painted with yellow. The kids watched the sunset in awe and looked back at their father who watched as their eyes shimmered.

"It started with you two; Fate and Destiny."
