Hai guys! I hope you guys are doing well, and please, please, please, stay safe, especially with the election coming up!

Speaking of elections and politics, that's what brought me to this topic. At dinner tonight, my brother and I debated over politics. Our whole family is democratic. But we realized that there's something new, different, evolved, about politics since 100 years ago. 

Elections used to be about what you believed in, not what party you were. So many of my friends have said, and I quote, "I like Trump because I'm republican". And it's just so annoying. Politics aren't about what party we are, and beating the other party. Politics are about voting for Who YOU believe in! POLITICAL PARTISANSHIP is the new racism! It's just an opinion, it's like your skin is just your skin. People are people! Let's treat them like they are! 

Think about it, Trump refuses to work with democrats. I'm sure that there have been presidents, democratic and republican that are the opposite of bipartisan. People are mean to each other all because of politics. All because one side supports republicans, and one side supports democrats, and there are of course the other parties, libertarian, green, etc.

Just, one thing I ask of you. Please, pretty please with a cherry on top, be reasonable. Think about (for those of you from different races like me), how it feels to be treated differently because of your race. Think about, how it feels to be treated badly, just because you're LGBTQ+. Think about how it feels to be treated differently because of your family's economic situation. Think about how it feels to be discriminated upon for your gender. (Trust me, I know how it feels.)This is also how it feels for people discriminated upon because of your race.

Treat everyone equally. Do everyone a favor. Thank you so much! Stay safe and think positive!
