Naina fights back

Part 19- Naina and Sameer's sangeet ceremony

The Aggarwals were waiting for the Maheswaris to arrive at the function. Tauji, Chachaji, and Rakesh were making sure everything was set so that nothing would lack for Naina, as it was the first daughter that was getting married.

Naina: Where is Sameer, and the family?

Preeti: Have some patience Jijaji will be here soon.

Swathi: Anyways, you talk to him everyday, you should have asked why he is late today?

Naina: My Sameer will come.

Naina looks up, and sees Sameer, Munna, and Pandit, with the rest of the family looking a bit worried, since they have come a bit late. Naina runs up to Sameer, and hugs him.

Naina: Why do you all look so scared, and nervous?

Poonam Bhabhi: That's because our car broke down, and we had to wait for a mechanic for over an hour.

Naina: You should have called anyone of us, we would have fixed for you, but you all finally made it, and that's a relief in itself.

Chachaji: Naina is right, we are family now, and it's not a problem.

Sameer, and the family begin to smile, at the Aggarwals since they are so down to earth. Tauji tells the Maheswaris to sit down, Whilst Sameer sits next to Naina at the front.

Taiji: So who's going to go first, boys side or girls side?

Munna, Pandit, Preeti, and Swathi raise thier hands

Munna+Pandit: We put up our hands first

Preeti+ No we did, you just copied us.

Naina takes out a coin from her pocket.

Naina: Ok we will do a toss.

Munna+ Pandit: Heads

Preeti+Swathi: Tails

Naina flips the coin, and catches it with her right hand, and switches it over.

Naina: Its tails so, Preeti, and Swathi your first, and then Munna, and Pandit.

She sits back down in her place, and the music starts up. Naina, and Sameer are holding hands, when Preeti drags her to the centre, and she starts dancing merrily. Sameer has always seen Naina dancing in Pooja di's sangeet, and in the Dellhi competition, he has become a huge fan of hers. In the heat of the moment, he also joins in pulling, Munna, and Pandit along with him. The song they are dancing too is Bhabhi tera devar deewana. The families join in and have a lot of fun.

Now it's the boys turn, and they are dancing to Dilwale dulhaniya le jayenghe. Naina starts to blush, as she didn't expect him, to dance to this song. Sameer comes closer to Naina, and starts to twirl her around with Munna, and Pandit doing the same. They start to walk off, but the boys won't let them, as they become aware, that they are being shy. Chachaji is recording, so that in the future, they will always look back to this.

Preeti: Hold my hand, Naina, and Swathi, let's go under them.

Naina: Finally, we are out

Swathi: Naina sing a song, please, I want to listen to it.

Naina starts to sing, and the boys stop dancing, as they hear a beautiful melody coming from Naina.

Naina: Tuhjhe dekha toh yeh jaana sanam, pyaar hota hein deewana Sanaam, ab yaha say kaha jaye hum, tere baahon mein marjaye hum.

Naina sings the full song, and dances at the same time, going to each of the family member, and finally stopping at Sameer. He didn't know that Naina could sing so beautifully. Everyone starts clapping.

Mamaji: Naina, you made my heart happy, you should sing more often.

Naina: This is just a hobby of mine, and now all of you know about it.

Sameer: Next time I should bring my guitar, it would have been so perfect, a musical couple.

Everyone begins to laugh

Rakesh: No wonder your a match made in heaven. Perfect for each other.

Sameer, and Naina takes blessings from everyone.

Tauji: You all must be hungry right?

Munna+,Pandit: Its food time, we were waiting for this.

Preeti+ Swathi: Your always after food, even in school everyday there used to be Samosas on your table with campacola. Don't you guys get fed up eating the same food?

Munna+ Pandit: No, that's our favourite food right Sameer?

Sameer: Yes

Everyone sits down, and the food is being served by all the ladies, including Naina, Preeti, and Swathi.

Sameer+Munna+Pandit: Why don't you all sit down with us?

Naina+Preeti+ Swathi: We need to work, and it's ok we will eat after you.

Sameer+ Munna+ Pandit: Unless you don't eat, we are not going to eat either

Naina: Don't be that stubborn, ok give us 5 minutes, and then we can eat together.

The girls finish thier work, sit down with the boys, and start to eat.

Sameer+ Munna+ Pandit: This is so yummy we love it, whoever has made it, we are going to kiss thier hands

Naina+ Preeti+ Swathi: We made the food

Sameer, Munna, and Pandit kiss thier hands, and they all look down.

Sameer+ Munna+Pandit: You three are the best

Naina+ Preeti+ Swathi: Thank you
