"DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SEE"

Of course she did not believe...but now everything was crystal clear! 

Gut wrenching pain....
She could not even imagine what Manik was going through...
Knowing everything,how beautifully he tried to convince her,so that she would not get hurt.....

HURT?  Hurt would be a small word...
The irrational use of her existence had already taken place!

She was mercilessly tortured.....she did not have much scars physically...but mentally,it was too deep....

Except the scars on her neck! Yes she knew about them....

Flashback

After deciding to take a shower before she met Navya ,Nandini moved to the washroom..
Removing her clothes,Nandini felt very tired...
Gazing at the mirror,she found her face to be very dull...
Why? She couldn't remember anything!
She rubbed her face multiple times to bring back the energy. Then she noticed something...

Something red!  Around her neck..as if someone had scratched her!

N: Yeh kya hai? Kisine mere saath zabardasti ki kya? Lekin Manik ne bathaya ki main ghar par hi thi...mera tabiyat teek nahi tha...

Lekin mujhe kuch yaad kyun nahi aaraha hai?

Nandini was on the urge of crying at her helplessness...

N: Agar main ghar par hi thi...toh yeh sab kaun kiya?
Kahin Manik ne mere saath.............

Nandini shuddered at the thought

N: Nahi woh kabhi aisa nahi karega...phir kaise? Kya main Manik se jaake poochun? Nahi woh sach nahi bolega.... Dekhti hoon ki aage kya hoga...

Taking a firm decision mentally ,Nandini moved into the shower.
Thus she didn't show any signs of doubts in front of Manik and went to see Navya..
But she had forgotten her phone,that's when she overheard the conversation between Manik and Cabir

Flashback ends

Cavya Room

Cabir came back from Manik's room after knowing the nerve wrecking truth about their family...
He found Navya to be impatiently waiting for him

N:Cabir...Tumne di ko dekha kya? Kaisi hai woh? Main jaake mil lu?

C:Navya pls calm down...Nandini so rahi hai...Tum phir kabhi mil lo!

N:Yeh kya baat huyi Cabir...Main apni behen se kyun nahi mil sakti?

Navya's temper was rising

C:Navya...tum samaj nahi rahi ho...
Nandini ko viral fever hua hai...agar tum jaaogi toh tum bhi affect ho sakti ho..
Bhagwan ke liye pls understand...

Cabir shouted

Navya looked at him with teary eyes and went out of the room

Cabir looked at her helplessly

C:Kaise sach bataun Navya....tum kaise bardaash karogi?
Sochke hi haath pair kaamp raha hai...
Aisa ek risk main nahi le sakta Navya...
I am sorry 💗

Cabir was lost in his thoughts
The consequences if Navya comes to know what happened with her sister or when Nandini comes to know what happened with her was unimaginable!
But he was unaware.......
'The house was already on fire'

..

Nandini held her parents' photo in her hands and gazed at it
Her eyes filled with tears,lips quivering...
What was happening to her?
Her entire life appeared shattered...
Was there anything more to be afraid of?
She wanted answers,but she did know that it would cost her life and dignity!!

She had got a pure soul as her companion...
Who had gone against his own family to stand with her!
But now he has lost his hope...
He was  giving up the game,for her!

She was tired of everything...
She wanted to run away from everything and hide herself in her mother's lap....
She wanted to scream her guts out!

But if she ran away...will everything get over?
All their efforts will go in vain!
The promise she had made to herself when she was just 10 would be like bubbles in water!!!!

A painful step
A step which she may regret
A step which might anger her loved ones

But there was no other way
The last resort...a 50-50 chance to win
She mentally prepared herself to do the deed...

Wiping her tears and closing her eyes for a second, Nandini got up
Manik was not in the room
This was the chance to do it!!

Nandini picked up her phone and dialled a number...
She prayed in her mind for the person to pick up

The person picked up much to her surprise...
Was the person a regular idiot to maintain the old phone number or an over smart idiot?

Nandini spoke

N:Hello Harshad!
