Everything was getting in order....
Well not everything!....I felt that my head was going to burst.
I wanted her to suffer and suddenly she was so happy with the dreadful decision called "Wedding"
I have never felt this frustrated... except when spoilt girls use cheesy pickup lines on me....
Being the famous billionaire does not come at a cheap price it seems...
At such awful situations,Cabir becomes the last resort...

Speaking of the elephant in the room..
He would be arriving the next morning....
Am I excited? Not even a bit....
My head is going in rounds after Nandini made her bold statement

Well time gives u all answers!
My parents would be really happy about Cabir's arrival....
After all he is their lovely child!
Except that....
I forgot to inform them about it. Period.

Next Day

7.15 am

The busy morning came with the ringing of the doorbell as if it was a game to see how loud and irritating it could be u knw!!🙄

Vandana Malhotra after waiting for somebody to open it, left her half cooked pulao to open the door...

V:Subah subah patha nahi kaun aaya hai tung karne ke liye...
And are the people in this house all dead?...
Itne saare house help hai lekin time pe koi nahi dikhega..
Kamal hai!!!!

She opened the door to find a person standing with his back facing her!

Well she did find the "back" a very similar one..... And also it was a foggy morning ...the vision being not clear!
Poor woman... it did not occur to her that she was the first person to even a catch a glimpse of this back 😂😂

V:Kaun hai?

The person slowly turned shouting

C:Mom!!!!!main aa Gaya!!!

V:Tu....tu yahan kya kar raha hai...
Thak gayi hoon main tumse....socha tha ki is baar kaam teek se karoge...
Ab kya karke aaya hai? Mujhe na tera shakal hi nahi dekhna hai...
Jaa thu...🤣🤣

Vandu almost started closing the door

Cabir who was shocked at his mom's reaction managed to find his words

C: Ek..Ek minute....mom yeh sab kya keh rahe ho?
Aapko patha nahi tha ki main aaraha hoon?

V:Nahi😮

Hearing the chaos downstairs all the family members graced the living room with their presence

C: Bhai thank god....mom keh Rahi hai ki inhe patha bhi nahi ki main aaraha hoon...main kuch Dino ke liye London kya chala gaya,sab bhool gaye kya mujhe 😢😝

V:Manik tujhe patha tha kya  ki yeh aane wala hai?

M:Ahh...yeah

C:Yeh kya baat hai..bhai ne hi bulaaya hai mujhe...shaadi ke liye!!

Okay now everybody's eyes were out of their sockets except one who closed his. Manik.

V:Shaadi? Kiska shaadi hai..kiske shaadi pe Jaa raha hai tu?
Hume tu kisine bulaaya hi nahi

C:Mom pls tell me that u r joking!!!

V:U think I am joking?

C:Main apni shaadi ki baat kar raha hoon

V:Ek chamat marungi tujhe...pagal ho Gaya kya....tujhe shaadi karna hai ab?
Kaam teek se karta nahi hai..aur beech mein chodke bhaagke aaya hai...main kya karoon bhagwaan

Finally the 'person' decided to open his mouth

M: Mom actually I am getting married...and Cabir is also getting married..
I mean we both....

Karan:Kisse?😝

Karan asked excitedly getting shooting glares from Vandana 😂

V:Manik yeh kya badtameez I hai...
Tumhare mom dad Abhi bhi Zinda hai.....tu hume shaadi ke liye kab bulane wala tha?
After the birth of ur secret child?😂😂

Karan laughed out loud hearing his wife say that...
Poor Karan should hv known the consequences of that laughter 😂

M:Mom will u pls relax...u were the person who wanted me to get married all this time...see now I hv also agreed to it....
Dats it... end of discussion...

Manik left the place in haste

V:So dats it....ab humare ghar mein sab jo chahe woh kar sakte hain...
Jab chaahe shaadi karlo...divorce do..kuye mein jaake kudho😂...I don't care!!!

Vandu stormed off

Cabir slightly was getting hints of the condition..
He immediately left the room to avoid any daggers at him

Evening

Cabir was excited to meet Navya after a very long time....
He couldn't just wait to see her face...

On the other hand  Navya suddenly felt nervous when she received Cabir's call...
She had to tell him the happy news...
Was he going to be happy or not? God knows

She picked out a simple  floral shirt paired with ripped jeans...
Grabbing her flats she drived to the coffee shop they were supposed to meet...

She was definitely surprised when she  found Cabir already sitting in a corner waiting for her
She had counted on his lateness to places to practice her words!
But that just got destroyed!

Cabir catching the sight of his lady jumped on his feet and pulled her into a hug
Navya smiled weakly at his affection

A sense of awkwardness engulfed both as they couldn't utter a word after the welcome hug!
Cabir ran his fingers through his hair mentally cursing himself for being this tonguetied...
Navya couldn't stop thinking about the night they had spent together after Mukti's bday party!
Sure she was drunk but pieces of it used to come to her mind now and then..
It had been her first time...she hoped it be his too

Cabir finally broke the silence

C:Navya....u r glowing!

Navya was tired of listening to the same thing again and again from different people...
Her hormones were doing nothing good to her

She managed to thank him

N:Thanks

C:Navya Khaao kuch

Cabir had already ordered some of his favorites as he waited for almost half hour

N:Hmm...

C:Wait main kuch aur order Karun

N:No no

Navya was a bit hesitant because she didn't even seem to identify some of the dishes..
Cabir sure had a weird taste....but this was too extreme

After thinking for a second she grabbed a spoon to dish out a scoop of some kind of pudding

The moment it went in her mouth,Navya sprang up shutting her mouth

N: Is mein pineapple hain kya?
Navya managed to ask before running to the washroom

C:Yes?!!!!

Cabir couldn't understand what was happening..
Was Navya allergic to pineapple?

After a few minutes Navya came back
Navya knew that she would be loaded with questions..thus spoke first

N:Cabir...we need to talk

C:I am sry about the pineapple!!!!😆

N:Not that

C:Oh okay

N:Cabir do u regret that night?

C:What? No...why ?do u regret?

N:No...what is this Cabir? Yeh kya hai humare beech?

C:Aah Navya ..I don't want to give u any wrong signals!!

N:Oh ok...I get it....U r Cabir Malhotra...and me black and white Madhubala....what was I even thinking!!!
I am sry if I hv hurt u

C: Ok Madhubala..listen to me once keeping ur drama aside...
What happened that night..is not a one night stand for me...
It meant many things...infact lets make everything easy and give it a chance

N:It's not easy Cabir...
Mujhe kuch important baat kehni hai tumse...

Navya paused for a second and let it out together

N:Ok here it is...I love u

Cabir was over the moon listening to her

C:I love u too Navya

This was the right time to do it

Navya opened her bag and got the sonogram pictures and passed it to him
Cabir didn't understand but took a look at it....

C:Is this a.....I mean u are...I mean is this our......

N:Yes Cabir!
I am pregnant

Cabir looked into her eyes to confirm that she was not joking and the proof in his hands stared right at him

Navya waited for him to say something...
Nothing.
Absolute silence...
He got up and left!
Without uttering a single syllable....he just............
LEFT.

Navya dialled Nandini's number after wiping her flowing tears...

Nan:Hello

Nav:Di u were right...this was a stupid idea...I thought he would be supportive..but I was wrong

Nan:Navya...kya hua? Didn't he come?

Nav:He came,he ate and he left..just left...
Without a single word

Nan:Ok Navya listen to me..just relax

Nav:I am an idiot

Nan:Navya relax and go home..main tumhe kuch der baad call karungi.pls don't get tensed...
Relax...sab teek ho jayega

After comforting her sister Nandini sighed...the call was dead

Navya had expected everything to be fine...
Cabir was a good person... soft-hearted....his heart was a rose
But what she forgot was that even  "roses came with thorns"

Nandini's POV

Okay!this was getting out of hand! I really had to meet Manik to clear all this out..
These Malhotras really hv to get their brains checked!

Reaching the Malhotra Industries I found  Riya waving at me happily!
Atleast someone was happy!!
Oh I forgot to mention...Riya is dating Rohan!
I know it's hard to believe...but finally Rohan got bored of this silly bet and moved on with his new relationship!!!
It all started when Riya came to my house to wish on my birthday and before u could know Rohan started to flirt with her..
What I thought to be a fling was now getting serious...
I am sure that Nirmala Aunty is going to love her!!!

Riya informed me to wait for 5 minutes as Manik was in a meeting..
Manik being the stubborn idiot didn't come out even after 15 minutes..
I decided to barge in..
Riya knowing both of us personally decided not to argue with me!!

N:Hello Mr.Malhotra!!!

Nandini said after entering the boardroom filled with people wearing black coats...

M:Nandini not now

N:I am sry ....I cannot wait...u will come with me right now!!!

Seeing Nandini just order like that one of the board members, Mr.Nigam asked

Nigam: Ms.Murthy....how can u just call Mr.Malhotra out like that..
U also handle a company...u might be knowing the "manners"

Nandini: Ok Mr...who so ever....I am calling out my fiance....so family matter...so pls excuse us!!!

Now everyone gasped at Nandini's statement including Manik

Nigam:U both are gonna get married?

Na:Yeah sure..soon... u all will be invited... don't worry

Nigam:But u both had some issues..it was all there in the news!!

Na:Yeah so? can't a couple fight? Come on sir!!!
Manik now

M: Didn't u understand what I just said...

N:Ok dats it...everyone out....now...
U knw what the chairman himself ..Karan Malhotra himself has sent me..
Now can u leave?

Nobody had the guts to disobey the chairperson!!!
Within a second all started moving out

M:No no Mr.Mehra...she is lying...Mr.Nigam...pls stay!!

Soon the room was empty....
Nandini was quite impressed with her work😎

M: Are u crazy Nandini?
What is wrong with u? U will pay for this Nandini..I am gonaa.......

N:Hey hey...U Malhotra listen to me first!!!
So Ur brother is just gonna ditch my sister like that or what?
Huh? What does he think of himself???

M:He didn't agree to marry her after knowing the truth?
Or didn't he come to meet her?

N:He came...he ate and then left...
Just left!!!!no words..no emotions.. no good bye ... Nothing

M:Toh main kya karun?

N:Wow... excellent question!!!
Toh hum kya karein?...ek kaam karte hain...yahan baith jaate hai aur ghar ghar khelte hai.....

M:Okay that was sarcastic...

N: Really u think so?
Listen Manik... did u just forget about the goddamn deal?

M:Okay fine...stop shouting...I will call him

N: Thanks!!!!!

Manik dialled Cabir's phone number a few times..but none picked up

M:He is not picking up...

N:Ok I don't want to hear this bullshit again...get ur brother in the line..or else main kya karungi mujhe bhi nahi patha hai..I swear..

M:Fine...if u stop shouting lets go home and see if he is there

N: First call at Ur house.. u dumb head!!!🤣

M:Heyyyy!!!!!

N:Ok I am sry...

Manik called at Malhotra mansion and Robin who picked up said that Cabir came home before an hour and went straight to his room

That was enough for both to rush to the Malhotras...

Manik and Nandini took two steps a time running to Cabir's room
Manik pushed opened the door shouting Cabir's name.....
They were both shocked at once

The room was empty
