It was a Sunday...
The Mumbai City was enjoying it's weekend...
When everyone were lazily snoring in their comfy bed....
The Manik Malhotra had already reached his office to finish some of his pending work...
The entire office was silent like a graveyard..
No hustle and bustle...
Only the screaming silence....

Manik was standing in the corridor checking his phone....
Two legs were approaching him from a distance...
They came nearer and nearer and nearer..........
Lekin bhaisaab toh phone pe busy hain..
Manik is not aware of anything happening around him...

Then suddenly......

Voice:Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

Due to the sudden scream, Manik stumbles and drops his phone...
Manik turns to look at the person

M:Tum?????

Person:Haan main..

M:Yeh kya bachpana hai Nandini?
Why did u scream like that?

N:I knw ki bachpana hai...
Lekin aap toh dar gaye na?

Saying this Nandini starts laughing...

Looking at Nandini laughing Manik also smiles

M:For ur information..I didn't get scared and all ok...🤣

N:Achaaa..toh yeh zameen pe jo phone pada hai...woh kiska hai?

M:It was the reflex ok...
Waise bhi mujhe tumse baat karne ke liye time nahi hai...ok.

N:Kyun?chup chupke muffins khaana hai kya 🤣??woh bhi "aapke haath" ke banaaye huye muffins 😂

Manik remembers the whole scene which happened the previous day...
How he had embarrassed himself by boasting about the muffins in front of Nandini...

Thus not able to meet her face,Manik leaves from there..

N:Arehh aap kahaan jaa rahe hai?
Rukiye toh!Arehhhh

Her words only fell to deaf ears..
As Manik had already left from there..

The whole day Manik kept ignoring Nandini...
Whenever she tried to talk to him,he would excuse himself for one reason or the other...
Nandini was feeling really angry at Manik's behavior....
She had to get through some important work with him, but he was not even giving her two minutes of his time..

Evening

As usual ,Manik was walking with his eyes glued on his phone.
A sudden pull he felt....
He was pulled into a dark room
He couldn't see anything..
He could hear the door closing behind him

M: What the hell!!!
Yeh kyaa badtameezi hai...

A faint light appears...

Yes it is indeed Nandini standing there with her mobile phone with her flashlight on...

They were standing in the storeroom..

M: Seriously Nandini?
Ab yeh kyaa naya khel hai?

N:Oh helloo!!
Yeh toh mujhe aapse poochna chahiye na...
Aap toh aise behave kar rahe ho jaise aap mujhe jaante hi nahi ho..
Jab bhi main baat karne ke liye aathi hoon toh aise bhaag jaate ho ki aapne bhoot ko dekh liyaa...

M(mumbles under his breath):Tum toh ho ek cute bhootni 😁

N:Kyaaa

M:Kuch nahii

N:Kyaa kuch nahi?Jawaab dijiye mujhe...
Kyun bhaag rahe the aap?

M: Nandini don't u hv any common sense?
Main tumhe isliye ignore kar raha hoon kyunki I am not interested in ur blabberings..

N: Blabberings??
Kal tak toh aap bilkul teek the...
Ab achanak se mere baaat karna aapko blabbering lagta hai?

M:I really don't wanna do this right now

Manik tries opening the door...
But to his surprise,the door doesn't open...

M: Nandini why isn't this door opening?

N:Mujhse kyun pooch rahe ho!?
I blabber na?

M:What?I am not kidding !!
Lagta hai door jam ho gaya hai...

N:Kya??
Aap bhi na...ek door open nahi ho rahe hai aapse...
So saad..hatiye...
Areh hatiye...main dikhati hoon ki kaise open karte hai..

Saying this Nandini tries pulling the handle ,while Manik steps aside watching the circus going on...

Nandini puts all her energy on the door to open it, but everything goes in vain..
Due to the pulling the handle comes in her hand and because of all the force,Nandini falls down on her back..

Watching all this,Manik couldn't stop his laughter..
He laughs out loud...

M:Ho gaya tumhara circus?
Badi aayi...
Kya zaroorat tha mujhe bhi yahaan kheench laane ka...
Seriously mahn u r crazyy..

Aaj office mein bhi koi nahi hai...
Wait I will call Cabir and ask to arrange help..

But Nandini was deeply thinking about something

N(in her mind):Yeh kya ho raha hai..
Manik has rahe hai..
I pulled him into this dark,damp storeroom and got us stuck here....
Still he is not angry!!!
He is laughing and arranging for help peacefully!!!
Is this really the monster Manik?
Am I dreaming or what?

While on the other side, Manik calls Cabir

M:Helloo Cabir...kahaan par hai tu?

C: Practice khatham karke nikal raha hoon bhai..

M:Acha tu ek kaam kar,get a carpenter!
Tu toh jaanta hai na kisiko!

C:Bhai aap toh aise pooch rahe ho jaise main apne pocket mein carpenter lekar ghoomta hoon..
Lekin bhaai aap toh office gaye ho na!
Wahaan carpenter kyun chahiye?
Aapne gusse mein kuch tod phad toh nahi kiya na bhai 😂(laughs)

M:Cabir!!!
Zyaada sawaal mat poocho...

C: Really sry brother...aap pehle kahiye ki aapko carpenter kyun chahiye?
Warna aap khud carpenter dhoond lijiye..

Manik knowing that , Cabir won't give up says

M:Fyn..listen Nandini and I got stuck in the storeroom!

Manik cuts the call

On the other side Cabir....

C(in his mind):Kuch toh gadbad hai..
Nandini aur Bhai akele storeroom mein!!
Mom bhi keh rahe the ki un dono ke beech kuch chal raha hai..

M:Cabir will send someone..

(Manik waves at Nandini)

M:Kis duniya mein ho tum?

Nandini checks her watch

N:Haayyy raam!!!,its already 8
Ab aur kitna time aise rehna padega hume?

M:Mujhse pooch rahi ho?
Yeh sab tumhari idea tha na...
Now stay quiet!!

A few minutes pass with no one speaking...

N:Raamjii Mujhse nahi hoga..yeh chup chap kisi mook film ki actor jaise baithna...
Chaliye kuch karte hai 😁

M:Kya karna hai tumhe?

N:Kuch bhi......

M(raises his eyebrows):Kuch bhi?😁😉

N:Haan..it's so boring to sit like this na...

Manik slowly gets up and walks towards Nandini...
He removes his overcoat...
This makes Nandini alert
She looks at Manik in surprise..
Manik slowly loosens his tie
There is only minimal distance between them...
Unable to tolerate his sharp gaze, Nandini closes her eyes

After few minutes..
Nothing happens..
She doesn't feel anything..
Thus she opens her eyes...
She finds Manik standing at a distance and grinning..

M:Kya hua Nandini?Aise kyun dekh rahi ho?
U knw bohat garmi hai na..toh isliye maine fan on kar di

Nandini turns back and sees the switch board behind her..
He had come near her to get to the switch board!
She understands that he had removed the overcoat because of the hot weather...
She calms herself and her raising heartbeats 😂😂

M:Lekin Nandini tum aise kyun darke apne aankein band rakhi thi?
Bolo...tum kya sochke dar gayi thi?😂

Nandini looks here and there not knowing what to answer

N:Kk..kuch bhi toh nahi...main kyun sochungi??maine aise hi aankein band ki thi..woh bohat garmi hai na toh 🤣

M:Achaaa!!lekin Nandini yeh garmi and closing ur eyes in fear...kya connection hai?😂😂

N:Dekhiye Mr.Malhotra
Mujhe aapse dar nahi lagta...
Aur shayaad aapko mujhse dar lag raha hoga...u know aap toh mujhe ignore kar rahe the na subah se..

M: What!!!!
Tum Keh rahi ho ki mujhe tumse dar lagta hai...
(Laughs)
Achaa joke tha...🤣
Main prove kar sakta hoon ki tum Mujhse darti ho....

N:Kaise?

With that Manik starts moving towards Nandini..
As Manik moves forward ,Nandini moves backward..
This continues until Nandini's back hits the door.....
She was caught between Manik and the door!!
It was as if she was caught in the lion's den!
She could feel Manik's breath on her forehead..
He was dangerously close to her...
While Nandini was dealing with her raising heartbeats....
Manik was also feeling new things...
He got mesmerized looking at her cute yet serene face...
There was no artificiality,only pure innocence...

While both of them were busy in their own worlds......
The door opens with a thud!!!
Nandini whose back was supported by the door falls on Manik who was standing in front of her..
While Manik falls on the floor with Nandini on top of him...
Nandini's lips lightly brush on Manik's cheek..
Yes it was a small peck on the cheek..
Or yeah maybe a kiss 😋
(Just like how it was done in KYY season 1)

Standing at the door was Cabir with a man with some tools...
The reaction of Cabir is same as what we saw in the serial..
He comes down on his knees and looks at both of them...

While Manik was hell shocked, Nandini 's condition was also somewhat similar..
Both of them were lost in each other...

Cabir who couldn't control his laughter...,clears his throat to bring them both back to reality!!

Both look around to find Cabir and another man staring at them!!
Realising their position they quickly get up and get themselves upright...

M:Woh thank you for the....for the.....

C:For the??

M:For the......

Manik wasn't understanding what to speak as he was still in the trance...

C:Kiss?🙈🤣

Manik's and Nandini's eyes bulges out

C: Matlab 'kis' cheez ke liye thank you bol rahe ho aap bhai?😉😂

M:Woh... getting help to open the door...
Yeah for that...

C:Yeah yeah agar hum nahi aate toh pata nahi kya kya ho jaatha ...😂

Manik looks at him sternly...

C:Mera Matlab hai ki u would be stuck here no...

N:Woh..main nikalti hoon...thank you Cabir!

C: Yeah yeah.. mention not..

Nandini leaves
The carpenter too leaves after he gets his fee

Only Cabir and Manik were remaining in the room

Cabir starts laughing

Manik looks here and there..

M:Ho gaya tera?ab chale?

C:Ok bhai..as u say..😂

Riya was waiting for someone at the table...

She checks her phone repeatedly...

Suddenly she hears a voice

Voice:Woww...Riyaa..u r quite punctual!
I must appreciate it!!

R: Ma'am I will do it..
