|•Chapter 7•|

"Breathe in." Tsireya instructed as we sat in a big circle on a rock expect for Ao'nung. He was somewhere else with his friends, he told Tsireya he had better things to do then teach forest people. Tsireya inhales deeply as she holds her hand to her chest. We all follow her instructions.

"And breathe out." She says again as we exhale deeply as she told us to. "Imagine a flickering flame. You must slow down your heartbeat." Tsireya puts her hands on Lo'ak's stomach. "Breathe from down here. Breathe out slowly." Lo'ak starts to exhale slowly, Tsireya looks up at him. "Lo'ak your heartbeat is fast."

"Sorry."

"try to focus." Tsireya says. "Breathe in." Neteyam and Rotxo look at eachother and snicker as Kiri and Tsilpey roll their eyes. Boys will be boys. They all knew Lo'ak had a huge crush on Tsireya, we knew the moment he said hey to Tsireya. "And breathe out."

Tsìlpey followed what they were doing as she wanted to make sure she was doing it correctly. Rotxo noticed as he did the same thing that Tsireya did and put his hands on her stomach. "Let your mind go clear. That will help." Rotxo said. Tsìlpey looked over at Neteyam which had angry in his eyes

Tsìlpey gave him a look as to calm down which neteyam just gave her a look back. Tsìlpey continued to breathe in and out as Rotxo helped her. Tsireya then decided to take us back into the water so we could swim around longer.

As we got into our water we started to call our ilu. It was diffrent than how we call our Ikran's we had to make clicking noises. Tsireya and Rotxo showed us how to call our own. Tsìlpey connected with her ilu as she got on and swam underneath the water.

Tsìlpey swam around for a while as she could hold her breathe for a long time underneath the water now. It was nice that she didnt have to go up every 2 minutes for air. "Whoo!" Neteyam yells as we resurfaced above the water.

Tsireya smiled and chuckled. "You are learning to breathe." We rode around for a while before Tsireya wanted us to try and retrieve a seashell from the bottom of the ocean. Tsireya had us go one by one, but Tsireya didnt want Tuk to do it. neteyam went first then Lo'ak. Finally it was Tsìlpey's turn.

Tsìlpey took a big deep breath as she dove down. The way of water has no beginning and no end. Tsìlpey swam down as she used her arms and legs, it was diffrent then what Metkayina people did. All they had to do what use their tails to swim. They were graceful. The sea is around you and in you. The sea is your home before you birth and after your death. Tsìlpey made it to the bottom of the ocean floor. She got the seashell and kicked off from the bottom and swam back up. Our heartbeat in the womb of the world. Our breath burns in the shadows of the deep. The sea gives and the sea takes. the water connects all things. Life to death. Darkness to light.

Tsìlpey broke surface and gasped for breath as she held the rock ip in the air. "I got it!"

Tsireya smiled. Tuk cheereed from beside Lo'ak. "You did it!" Tsireya says. It was mid day as Tsireya told us that was enough for today. Our training was going great for being here only for a month. Tsireya said we were fast learners from other children.

Tsìlpey got out of the water as she was going to go find Kiri but was stopped by Neteyam. "Whats going on with you and Rotxo? Why is he all by you?"

"He is helping me learn Neteyam." Tsìlpey replied back, slightly annoyed. "Your not mad are you?"

"Well it seems like he has a crush on you." Neteyam says. "he is always with you."

Tsìlpey grabbed Neteyam's hand as she brought it up to her chest. "You do not need to worry, I am yours as you are mine."

"Nga yawne lu oer, ma Paskalin." Neteyam said as he kissed Tsìlpey's forhead.

"Nga yawne lu oer. Dont worry." Tsìlpey said. "Now I am going to find Kiri, I will see you later."

Tsìlpey let go of Neteyams hand as she started to walk off to find Kiri. She looked along the beach until she found her laying on the sand with her head in the water. Tsìlpey walked over to her and sat down next to her. Kiri looked up as she smiled and then looked back down.

It was quiet but that didnt last for long, as Tsìlpey heard footsteps and looked up to see Ao'nung and his friends. "go away." Tsìlpey hissed at them.

Aonung ignored Tsìlpey as he circled Kiri. "What is she doing?" Ao'nung asked his friends while laughing.

"I dont know." Rotxo said. Tsìlpey got annoyed as she stood up and looked at them.

"Shes just looking at the sand!" Ao'nung replied as the 4 boys laughed.

Kiri pulled her head out of the water as she started to stand up. "Huh? What did you say?" Kiri stood next to me.

"Are you some kind of.." Ao'nung paused as he looked at his friends. "Freak."

When Kiri didnt say anything Rotxo spoke up. "He asked if you were a freak."

Kiri sighed as she started to walk away and Tsìlpey followed. "No."

The boys followed as Tsìlpey was at Kiri's side. hand of her knife. "Are you sure?" They laughed, Ao'nung went in front of us, and grabbed Kiri's hand. "I mean youre not even real Na'vi, Look at these hands!"

"Leave us alone!" Tsìlpey yelled out at them.

"Hey!" Lo'ak yelled out as he approached. "Back off fishlips!"

"Oh, another four fingered freak." Rotxo said. "Look at his little baby tail! baby tail!"

"Dont touch me!" Lo'ak pushed away the boy that grabbed and pulled his tail.

"leave us alone!" Kiri yelled out at them. Ao'nung, Rotxo, and the two other boys continued to make fun of Lo'ak as Tsìlpey and Lo'ak tried to stop them. To make them go away.

Neteyam appeared as he pushed Ao'nung away and pointed at him. "You heard what they said. Leave them alone."

"Ah, big brother come.." One of Ao'nungs friends strted before Ao'nung stopped him from saying anything else

"Back off. Now." Neteyam said. A moment later Ao'nung backed away and held up his hands. Tsìlpey smirked. "Smart choice, and from now on, I need you to respect my sister." One of Ao'nung's friend hissed at us as Kiri stuck out her tounge at them.

"Lets go." Neteyam said.

As we were walking away Ao'nung started to talk again. "Look at them, they are all freaks. the whole family including Tsìlpey."

Lo'ak stopped in his tracks as he sighed deeply and turned around. "Lo'ak." Neteyam warned.

Lo'ak held out his hand and looked at us. "I got this bro." He walked back over to Ao'nung and his friends as we stopped to look at what was going to happen. "I know this hand is funny." he held his hand as he wiggled his pinky at them. "Look, I'm a freak. An Alien."

The boys chuckled. "But I can do something really cool. Watch." Lo'ak started to bawl up his hand into a fist. "First I ball it up real tight like this. Okay? then," Lo'ak punched Ao'nung three times in the face as he fell to the floor. "its called a punch, Bitch! Don't ever touch my sister again!" Ao'nung jumped up as him and his friends hissed and snarled at Lo'ak before Ao'nung charged at him and they both fell again to the floor.

They started to fight as Ao'nung and Lo'ak kept punching eachother and Ao'nung's friends cheering him on. Ao'nung was on top of Lo'ak as he held down on his neck. that made Tsìlpey mad as she charged at Ao'nung and knocked him over and started punching him as she joined in a fight.

Tsìlpey punched Ao'nung a few times then someone pulled her tail as she turned and hissed at Ao'nung friend. He was pulling her off of Ao'nung. Tsìlpey turned aropund and punched him as they went back and forth. Kiri was yelling and eventually Neteyam joined in. Another boy joined as they fought Tsìlpey. They kept smacking her face with their tail.

One of them had her arm around her back twisting it as it hurted and it felt like it could break. Tsìlpey hissed in pain as she tried with her free hand to grab her knife. When she finally grab her knife she turnned to her side as she swung her knife and it sliced one of the boys arm. He let go for her arm as he walked back and hissed in pain.

Tsìlpey got up as the two boys tried to get to her. She swung her knife. She already had some blood on her side and on her face as her nose was bleeding. They continued to fight as one of the boys jumped on top of her and wrapped his arms around her neck trying to knock her out. Tsìlpey was distracted as the other boy grabbed her legs trying to get her down to the floor which they did. Tsìlpey fell face first into the sand as she quickly moved her head out of the sand she was covered in it.

The one boy still had her arms around her neck as she took her knife and sliced the other boy as well. the boy fell back as Tsilpey tried to get up but was struggling. She got into a defensive position but before they could attack again. Ronal, Tonowari, and Jake came running yelling for us to stop.

Tsìlpey charged at one of Ao'nung's friends, she knocked him down as she held the knife up to his neck and hissed. Someone came running up as they pushed Tsìlpey to the ground.

When Tsìlpey looked up Ronal stood over her with the boy behind her holding his neck. "Lekye'unga Vrrtep!" Ronal hissed at her.

Tsìlpey wiped the blood from her chin before she spoke. "Kalweyaveng."

Ronal gave her a hard look, while Tonowari came over to pull her out of the sand. Tsìlpey looked over at Jake he had a hard expression while holding the shoulders of Neteyam and Lo'ak. "Go to your home Tsìlpey, your the daughter of a great warrior, and Olo'eyktan. You should know better." Tonowari said sternly.

Tsìlpey put away her knife as turned and walked past Ao'nung, Rotxo, and his other friend. "Vrrtep!" Ao'nung snarles at her. "Tsìlpey the demon." Tsìlpey's hissed at them as she followed Jake to the Mauri.
