|•Chapter 24•|

There was an explosion as a fire surronded the ship on the water. "Get back to the ship. Go!" Spider yelled out. Tsìlpey was still on the ship and when she turned around Quaritch and Jake were gone. She could still hear them yelling. Spider, Kiri, and Tuk got back on the ship with the help of Tsìlpey while Neytiri was close by. Another problem was theat the ship was sinking. Quickly.

When Tuk got on the ship she started to walk towards Neytiri when she slipped, Neytiri tried to grab her hand but she was washed down a hole. Tuk was screaming and Neytiri was screaming out her name. "Tuk!"

"Mom!"

Neytiri fell down the hole with Tuk, Tsìlpey looked around quickly, she looked at Spider. "Get her out of here! I'll go after Tuk and Neytiri!" Spider nodded as Tsilpey jumped down the hole holding Jake's knife in her hand.

She took a deep breath as she hit water. She opened her eyes as she looked around. The current in the corridor she was in was sweaping her away she could grip onto everything. Until she was thrown into another room where the water was calmer and she could catch some air, but in that room was Neytiri and Tuk as when she emerged from the water Tuk screamed as Neytiri got ready to attack her. "Neytiri its me!"

"Tsìlpey!" Neytiri said as she pulled her over by them. "We have to get out of here!"

Tsìlpey looked around as she saw a hatch. "Climb!" Tsìlpey went over to a wall as she useed nearby things that were attached to the floors and walls to climb. When she got to the hatch Neytiri and Tsìlpey tried to open it. It opened a little but they couldnt get it open fully to get out.

They tried other ways they saw for a way out. They tried going down corridors but there was no way out. Tuk was whimpering as she was scared. "Mom.." She clung onto Neytiri as they stopped. Neytiri and Tsìlpey were still looking for a way out.

"Oh, Great Mother! Oh, Great Mother, help us!" Neytiri said as she started to panic a little. Tsìlpey was scared she didnt know if she would make it out of here. She didnt know if her mate survived.

She closed her eyes as she tried to focus her breathing. Neytiri gasped. "Kiri!" Tsilpey opened her eyes to see Kiri in front of her and small yellow lights around them.

"Mama I'm scared." Tuk whispered to Neytiri.

"It is alright." Neytiri said as she grabbed Kiri's hand.  "Stay close to me. Stay close to Mama."

"Everything's going to be all right, little sister." Kiri told them and looked at me. "Big sister. Mom, I'm gonna give this to you. It'll help you."

Kiri help Neytiri with the Txampaysye as she connected to it and suddenly she could breath better. "Tuk, Remeber what Tsireya says." Tsilpey said. "The way of water connected all living things, Our hearts beat in the womb of the world. The sea is your home, before your birth and after your death. The sea gives and the sea takes. Water connects all things: life to death, darkness to light."

"Big breaths." Kiri says as she breathed and we followed. "Follow me."

We went underwater as we swam out, following Kiri from the way she went. We kept swimming, going left and right. Weaving every which way until finally we were out of the ship and ereging from the water, we all gasped for breath as we looked around.

"Ma Jake!" Neytiri yelled out as we started to swim towards them. They were on Payakan.

"Dad!"

"Mom!"

We swam over to them as Neytiri and Tuk got on Payakan as Tsilpey callled her ilu. "Tsìlpey Come on!" Tuk said reaching her hand out to her.

"I need to see Neteyam!" Tsìlpey said as she got on her ilu. "I will see you later!"

With that Tsìlpey took off to the Metkayina village passing villagers who were togther, some were moruning the dead, others were celebrating the victory. When Tsìlpey got to the village she quickly got off her ilu and swam to the shore and then took off running to the healers tent. That's where she would have gussed Neteyam would be.

Tsìlpey burst through the door to see Neteyam in a corner with a blanket on him. He turned his head towards her and held out his hand. Neteyam was alive.

Sully's stick together. It was our greatest weakness and our great strength.

"Neteyam." Tsìlpey said.

"Yawne." Neteyam said. Tsìlpey knelt beside him and leaned over him for a hug and thats when she felt it. She had a confused look on her face and when she looked at Neteyam he understood why she was confused. "They couldnt save it, it was already too infected when I was brought here."

Neteyam put his one arm down on the floor as he pushed himself up. The blanket fell down and his left arm appeared. There was nothing except for a nub. Neteyam's left arm was amputated. Tsilpey was still a bit surprised.

"I still love you just the same." Tsìlpey said. "And we will work through this and make adjustments as we go."

"As a family?" Neteyam asked.

Tsìlpey nodded in confirmation. "As a family."

Neteyam couldnt help but smile. "Your really pregnant?"

Tsìlpey smiled and nodded as she sat down. Neteyam wrapped his arm around Tsìlpey. "I love you." He said as he closed his eyes and Tsìlpey closed her eyes as well. "I love you too."

The was funeral's every hour or so for Metkayina warriors who had died because of a war they didn't want. Many villagers were mad at the Sully family, many were sorry for them. Jake and Neytiri knew the pain that the villagers went through. It was the same pain felt during the first great war.

"My family and I, we'll move on tomorrow. Far away from here." Jake told Tonowari and Ronal

"Your son and Tsìlpey are tattooed in our Metkayina ways. You are Metkayina now." Tonowari said holding out his hand for Jake to take. Jake took his hand.

And there it was. We are Sea People now. This is our home.
