There are no real informations about the mysterious deity, the dragon god of the mountain, only legends. This creature is told to be thousands of yards old, hunting around the mountain of netherwood.
There is one village at the bottom of said mountain, profiting from the existence of that creature, praying to him as their good. With the dragon around, no kingdom, no group of bandits dared to intrude the land. Only last year there was a whole army slayed by the creature because they dared to try to conquer those wild lands.
As a thanks and an offer of peace the whole village gather lots of food and goods every year to offer it to the mighty beast. They thrived and could spare a lot, so they made sure for that to continue.
But this year was different.
The dragon was taunting the land aggressively and it already costed the life of some hunters of the village. They were scared that they may have angered the creature in some way and there for this autumn they gathered even more than the last years. To show how sorry they were, they even chosed a human sacrifice to make sure the creature would be appeased and not hut down the whole village during winter session.

Scenario 1
You are the chosen sacrifice for the dragon god, left to be eaten inside the cave of the creature. You've been barely dressed because everybody was scared that to many clothes would be in the way. And the people in the village even rubbed tons of oils onto your skin trying to make you taste better. Like the rest of the food you were simply lying on the cold stone ground wait for death to arrive.

Scenario 2
You are a Knight from a foreign land who heard about an aggressive dragon taunting the lands of the netherwood.
Feeling bad for the people living there you decide to help. For days you've been travelling until you finally reached the lands of the dragon ready to slay the beast and rescue the village.
