He grabbed my hand, pulling me into the hallway of the hospital. "Ow, Daina stop it!" I whined, hoping he would ease his grip. He didn't. He pulled me close so i hit his chest. "Daina!" I tried to say, voice muffled. "I love you, you know that, right?" I nodded. "I love you too! You don't have to-"

"Listen, you better not give up on me. I can't and will not live without you. I already lost you once, I will never lose you again." He said seriously, holding me by my cheeks so I couldn't look away. Not that I would, he seemed to like seeing me—

Never mind, but he wanted to show that he cared. That he loved me as much as I loved him. Even now, after all these years he's insecure and is afraid I would leave him for someone else. But I won't, i realized that a long time ago. The only one i loved and will always love, will be Daina. No one could ever replace him.

But he worries. Especially now, since I've been diagnosed with a disease, cancer. That's why he got mad that they named (Y/N)'s baby, Valt. After I'm gone... is it supposed to be a reminder? A memory? Something that will be forgotten eventually? Yes, I know it hurts and sometimes I wake up, breathing hard trying to calm down, because the thought of death does scare me. I don't want to die. I really don't, but they can't do anything for me.

'I have to do it myself' I think. It's my thing and I will overcome this stupid obstacle. I will for me, and for-

"Daina, Valt you guys OK?" A voice asked. I was brought back from my thoughts, Daina was holding me, his face buried in my hair. The familiar blonde was standing in front of us, heading towards the room. "Yes, sorry." Daina looked at me before opening the door."

"Glad I was invited to the party." Wakiya said with a smirk. "Hey, babe." Rantaro said ruffling his hair. "I thought I told you to not do that you idiot." He protested slapping his hand away. Rantaro laughed and kissed his forehead, Wakiya turning crimson.

"Sorry we left." Daina apologized. Shu shook his head. "It's alright." He said, eyes never leaving (Y/N). "Well, this is nice." She said quietly. "Guess the gang is back together." Valt said smiling brightly. "I don't know about you guys but I still have my Valkyrie right here!" He said pulling it out and it shined brightly. "Weird, I have Ragnarok here." Rantaro said pulling him out of his pocket.

"Spriggan, unfortunately, is in the car because I was concerned about my wife." Shu said quietly. Complete silence followed afterwards. (Y/N) looked away guiltily. "It seems i still bring tension and worry where ever I go." She sighed. "Don't be daft, we were always like this." Wakiya gripped the edge of his sleeve. "All that Snake Pit business and that brat, Aiga..." he trailed off shaking his head.

"Too much, isn't it?" Kensuke said. "Seems depressing." Daina agreed. "However, we're all here, we found the place where we can all be happy. Even if it's only for a little while." Brown eyes flickered towards Daina then to Shu, and landing on Rantaro. "Kumi- I, I mean Rantaro, we got some news." Valt said nervously. "Are you sure about this?" Daina asked Valt.

He nodded, brushing his dark blue hair away from his eyes. "I have one last week to live." He announced. It was silent. Shu's hand was shaking. Daina looked away and sighed.

Then Valt hit the wall, and he flinched his arms raised to cover his face. "You, you little..." Rantaro was holding him by the edge of his sweater, one arm next to his head. Valt lowers his arms slowly. Rantaro's eyes filled with tears, he glared at him. "No! Tell me you're lying!" He was shaking, wether with rage or sadness, Valt couldn't tell. "You're lying!" He yelled again. Valt shook his head, whole body trembling. Rantaro lowered his head, pressed against Valt's chest. "No... Valt..." he cried. "I'm sorry." Valt cried out shaking. "I'm sorry." He sobbed.

"Gone, huh? Forever." Wakiya looked at Valt. He opened his mouth, closed it, and left the room. "V-valt. Are you really, you know, u-um..." Kensuke looked at him, eyes watery. "I don't think he would lie about something like that." (Y/N) said. Kensuke nodded and looked down. "Valt, I've secretly loved you ever since I met you. I'm happy that you're with Daina. That's all u have to say." Kensuke said quickly. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner."

"Valt, you were stronger than I ever tried to be. You were always true to yourself and you were the only person who actually stood up for me back when we were kids. Even when I, when I went to the snake pit you believed in me and I'm forever grateful for that." Shu said softly. "I'm not as close with the others as you are, I'll never, I'll never-"

"Stop." Valt said. "It's to much I don't want, I didn't want all this. I don't, just don't make it worse than it already is. I'm sorry for stuttering." He said suddenly. R schools his head. "Look I don't want anything to change I want it to be happy. I want to be happy. Can we do that? Please?" He asked. "Of course we can." Daina said hugging him. "And, don't force yourself. It doesn't count. If you would normally not talk to me on Wednesday's then don't talk to me. Everything will be fine, alright?" He said.

"Alright then." (Y/N) answered. Shu didnt look up and brushed a finger against the baby's cheek.

This will be a long story. Also it will be very painful

It was painful to write, I poured many ideas and feelings and, damn it actually didn't turn out as a disaster
