I was at my locker, thankfully I had a place to put my weapons for the night.

"Yo Y/n, you ready to head out to the cliff" Ika asked.

"Almost, just going to finish a few things" I said.

"Alright, see you at the cliff" He said.

We heard a groan.

"This is so hard, uhh...why today" Jaune said.

"Hey, there a problem" Ika asked.

"Yeah...I'm trying to find my locker, and I can't find it" Jaune cried.

"Here I'll help" Ika said.

Once they left I felt a slap on my ass.

I turned around and saw Yang.

"Good luck today" She said as she left.

I shrugged it off and I got myself ready.

Once I got my things ready I got to the cliff.

We were all lined up on silver slabs.

"For years you have trained to become warriors, today your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest" Ozpin said.

"Now, I'm sure many of you heard rumors about the assignment of teams, well allow us to put an end to your confusion, each of you will be given teams...today" Professor Goodwitch said.

Hmm...

"These team-mates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon, so it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you may work well with" Ozpin said.

Alright...

"That being said the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next 4 years" Ozpin said.

Wait what?

"Well crap" Ika said.

"After you've partnered up make your way to the northern end of the forest, you will meet opposition along the way, do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path, or you will die" Ozpin said.

"The motivation is strong with this one" Ika said.

Everyone laughed.

"You will be monitored and graded throughout the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene, you will find an abandoned temple at the end of your path containing several relics, each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff, you will guard that item as well as your standing, and we will grade you appropriately, any questions" Ozpin asked.

"Uhh yeah uhh..." Jaune said.

"Good, now....take your positions" Ozpin said.

We all got into stances.

One by one we all got flown off the slabs.

"Uh...I'm doomed" Jaune said.

"Don't worry, it's a lot worse than it looks" Ika joked before being flown.

"You'll be fine, just..." I said before being flown.

"JUST WHAT" Jaune shouted.
