yandere tale part 2 an awakened yandere
frisk "papyrus. i have a question. was the name of that flower 'Flowey' by chance?. also sans, have you heard of the experiment that was done to a flower?". papyrus "yes it is, how did you know?". sans "yes i have. wait. you don't think, but it was reported that it failed and that it disappeared". frisk "both questions are connected. there is only one sentient flower in the underground. there was only one flower that had determination injected into it, truth be told when i fell into the underground a certain flower tried to kill me on the spot".
papyrus "i had no idea he was like that. nor was i told about that experiment, who told you about that experiment though?". frisk "alphys told me in exchange for a favor". sans "from what i recall. that particular flower could have absorbed the dust of asriel dreamer, and Flowey does seem to act like him". suddenly they were all 3 surrounded by 'friendliness pellets'. Flowey "how is this happening?. you keep remembering resets regardless of what i try, and you seem to have told some stuff that I'd rather nobody knew" frisk felt like that last part was directed at her.
frisk "asriel. you didn't have to become the villain of this story. yes your best friend is dead and those responsible should be punished. but i am not chara. nor one of the people who killed you. even if chara wanted monsters to be free i don't think she would have wanted you to kill everyone who fell into the underground without an actual reason to do so, also your idea of kill or be killed would eventually cause conflict with the last few who remain". Flowey "maybe i should have thought of that earlier. but maybe you should have not talked about me behind my back, and I'd prefer if you left chara out of this".
the friendliness pellets began to get closer to sans frisk and papyrus. frisk "what gives you the right to decide if we die?. and what is your excuse for doing so?. from the reset you know as well as i do that souls of determination don't fully obey the laws of time. my death theoretically would just send me to the past. if not then i wouldn't be surprised if i wasn't in the same timeline as you. perhaps my soul is the last that monsterkind requires but you couldn't just 'give' my soul to anyone nor could you control me if you took my soul yourself, you can't even claim my death would be in self defence".
Flowey in anger began to attack sans and frisk. frisk "i refuse to allow this". as she said that her eyes began to glow a deep shade of red. her pupils changed to the shape of a heart. and a mystical red energy began to envelop frisk and sans. and the pellets began to melt. all without even moving a single finger. Flowey "how!?!?. only monsters are capable of magic, it's like you imprinted your will upon the world". frisk "it's funny. before i fell asleep i wanted to be capable of magic. and now that want has become reality, yet i still can't reset the timeline".
sans "to think i only barely missed seeing that. and now i seem to be protected by the very weakness of monsters, i don't think the odds are in favor of our 'friendly' potted plant". papyrus "i wander if we will need to help teach you magic or if you can learn enough on your own". frisk "i guess it's my turn now". frisk then attempted to shoot red beams at Flowey. what appeared were red bullet sized projectiles in the shape of broken glass. frisk "ok, it's something i will need to work on". the projectiles cut through the nearby trees like a hot knife through butter as they were avoided. though they seemed to be magnetized to Flowey. they would not stop following after him.
yet after they inevitably killed him. the timeline was partly restored to before frisk fell and at the same time was reset. however frisk sans and papyrus were still returned in Sans's house. it seemed frisk was right about determination souls. they appeared to be in a timeline that didn't exist yet. and Flowey was nowhere to be seen. asriel dreamer didn't seem to exist either in this timeline. though there was a girl named chara that was a human and adopted by toriel and asgore. she also had determination. yet no control over it's power
frisk "my bad. didn't think that would be enough to kill him. guess my magic is more potent than most monsters, and until i figure something out we might be trapped in this unknown timeline". sans "it's fine. he was going to kill us. besides, you didn't know you were that powerful". papyrus "i just don't understand why he seems absent from this timeline. or how we got here, but i forgive you for this".
frisk "thanks. this really could be a hard puzzle to solve. but if i can just figure out why Flowey dieing sent us to this timeline, i might be able to send us back". sans "i have a few theories about why. perhaps you erased him from the timeline which somehow 'broke' the timeline thus we were somehow sent to this timeline. perhaps he reset after his death and we are somehow connected via time but just happened to be sent to the same timeline. perhaps it could be a mix of both, It's even possible that your magic somehow 'rewrote' the timeline and that it's still 'the same timeline' but was changed".
frisk "well. at least it's a start on possible answers, and an answer is an answer".
