"OH MY GOD, SHUT UP!"

Midori flinched violently, tears springing to her eyes.

"IM SO TIRED OF YOU!" Alex yelled, throwing up his hands in frustration. "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!"

"O-oh.... okay...." midori whispered, before turning around and running.

Alex reached out for her, but retracted his arm and groaned.

"I'm an idiot"

Midori ran out the door and down the street, passing several shocked people, sobbing.

Alex had finally grew tired of her. Midori knew it would happen. Knew he would snap and kick her out someday.

She wasn't prepared.

She slumped up against a wall, a fringe of green hair falling over her eyes as her nails dug into her arms.

Alex looked at the clock. Midori had been gone for several hours. He'd really fucked up.

It began to rain.

Alex froze before dragging a hand down his face, and stood up, walking to the front door and wrenching on a coat.

Slamming the door behind him, he sprinted.

Midori sat alone on the cold stone path, staring up at the sky.

'i.... didn't even get to tell him...' she whispered, before clenching her eyes shut.

She was soaked from head to toe, and her body violently shivered.

'alex.....'

"MIDORI!" Alex shouted, his hair sticking to his face as he began to get a stitch.

Where the fuck did she go?

Alex felt something in his chest clench. It might have only been a couple hours, but he missed her, and the passing thought that she might never come back struck him like lightning.

He looked at his watch.

9pm....

The sky had darkened. Everyone was inside. The street lamps were the only light.

Midori had to be out here, alone...

What if she got attacked.

Water fell down his face that was definitely not rain.

Alex wiped it furiosly away, biting his lower lip.

In the darkness, he nearly tripped over her.

She was slumped against the wall, unconscious. He felt her head, and it was unnaturally warm.

"Shit" Alex cursed, guilt once again building up inside of him like curlded milk.

He picked her up bridal style and held her close to him.

Her fave was extremely close to his. She was extremely beautiful, even when sick.

But she had evidently been crying...

Alex closed his eyes, and began to run back to his house with her in his arms.

He had laid her on the sofa, draping her in a blanket.

She's so pretty...

He didn't even realise he had began to lean in until his lips lightly brushed hers.

Regaining his senses, he pulled back and stared wide eyed at nothing in particular as he held a hand over his mouth.

Midori slowly opened her eyes.

"A-alex?"

"Midori...." Alex whispered. "I-i'm sorry, I-"

"No, no" she cut him off, pressing her finger to his mouth, smiling sadly. "I drove you to that point. Don't blame yourself"

Alex held her arm, [Deleted sentence] as he gently kissed her hand.

Midori blushed in shock. "A-alex, i-"

"I know. I do too"

Alex pushed his lips onto hers.
