(Readers POV)

I'm walking through a forest with my friend.

Daniel: So why did you want me to come to your walk (Y/N)?

(Y/N): I'm just bored. I just need someone to talk to.

Daniel: Man dude, I didn't know you were that lonely.

I just shook my head and sighed. I heard some rustling. Me and Daniel stopped in our tracks.

(Y/N): Did you hear that?

Daniel: Is it some Grimm?

(Y/N): I walk this way all the time. There aren't any Grimm in this area. It's most likely a person.

I looked around and saw a person jump out of a tree. He is heading towards me and trying to attack me. I ran over to him and grabbed his face. He tried to get my hand off his face, but failed. I slammed him into the ground.

(Y/N): The hell are you trying to do?

Daniel: There's more!

(Y/N): What?

I turned back and saw more people.

(Y/N): Just great.

I rushed over and kicked one in the face. Another one of the guys pulled out a gun. He tried to shoot at me. I dodged his bullet and went behind him at high speeds. He looked around confused. I grabbed him by the head and snapped his neck. He fell down to the floor.

(Y/N): You need any help Daniel?

I looked over and he already took down the rest of the people attacking us.

Daniel: It's fine.

He gave me a thumbs up.

(Y/N): Why would these guys even want to attack us?

I heard some footsteps. I looked back to see a woman in red and black. She is wearing a Grimm mask. Is she part of the White Fang? That can't be it. The guys me and Daniel fought weren't Faunus.

Raven: It would appear that you two defeated my men.

I cracked my knuckles.

(Y/N): So you're the leader of these pathetic excuses for bandits?

The woman grabbed her red blade and pointed it at me.

Raven: I will cut you down.

(Y/N): I'd like to see you try.

I started to walk forward at her. Daniel got in front of me.

Daniel: We don't need to fight.

I swear if he starts flirting with this girl.

Daniel: I don't want to hurt a beautiful woman such as yourself.

Oh my god. I facepalmed.

(Y/N): Do you have to do this right now?

Raven: Sorry, you're not my type.

Daniel: Come on, we need to get to know each other. I would love to see you without the mask.

(Y/N): Daniel, stop. Stop letting the brain downstairs talk.

Raven: Please listen to your friend, Daniel.

Daniel looked down sad.

Daniel: I'm never going to get a girlfriend.

I walked around Daniel.

(Y/N): Time to settle this.

I rushed over at her. She swung her sword at me, but I moved to the side to dodge. I went for a punch, but she blocked my fist with her sword.

(Y/N): I'm surprised. You are way better then your garbage friends.

Raven: Flattery will get you nowhere.

(Y/N): I'm not Daniel.

Daniel: I heard that!

I jumped back and picked up a rock.

(Y/N): Daniel! You thinking what I'm thinking?

Daniel: Yeah I am, (Y/N).

I threw the rock at the woman. She got her sword ready to cut it. Me and Daniel started to run away.

(Raven's POV)

I cut the rock that was coming my way. I looked around and the two running away. They are already pretty far, so I decided not to follow them. I sheathed my sword and sighed.

Raven: They won't get away with killing people from my tribe. I will find them later.

I turned around and walked back to where my tribe is.

(Readers POV)

After a bit of running, me and Daniel stopped.

Daniel: Good thinking (Y/N). Distracting her with a rock.

I got mad and grabbed him by his hair.

(Y/N): I wouldn't have to run away if you just kept it in your pants!

Daniel: Ow! Sorry!

I sighed and let go his hair.

(Y/N): This is why you'll never get a girlfriend.

Daniel: I was told that women like confidence.

(Y/N): Yeah, girls like confidence, not ignorance.

Daniel: You sure have a way with words.

(Y/N): Whatever.

Daniel reached for his pocket and pulled out a white bandana.

Daniel: I think I know what I've been doing wrong. I need to change my style.

He put the bandana on and looked at me.

Daniel: I need to act like a bad boy. Girls love bad boys.

(Y/N): No.

Daniel: You're not being helpful!

(Raven's POV)

I made it back to camp. While I was walking to my tent, I ran into Vernal.

Vernal: How did it go?

Raven: Not so good. Two men killed my helpers and got away.

Vernal: What?! Do you know what direction they went?

Raven: All I know is that they went in a single direction.

Vernal: I'll send a search party to find them right away.

Raven: Don't.

Vernal: Why not?

Raven: If you send anyone, they will die. I will be the one to get revenge.

Vernal nodded and walked away. I walked to my tent and entered it. I took off my mask and placed it on a table.

Raven: Today is just a fun day.

I said frustratedly. I poured me a cup of tea.

Raven: Good thing I remember what they look like. Next time I see them, they won't know what's coming.

I started to think about them. I think one of their names was Daniel. He sure was annoying. I might need to give him dating advice before I kill him.

Raven: I think Daniel said his friend's name was (Y/N).

That name just stayed in my head and his face, I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Raven: Stop it Raven. He isn't good looking, or attractive, or handsome.

I took a sip from my cup of tea.

Raven: It's a little cold.

I sat down and tried to think of something else other then (Y/N), but couldn't.

Raven: Why? Why can't I get him off my mind?

I heard someone walk in. I looked to see Vernal.

Vernal: I'm coming to ask if you need anything.

Raven: I'm fine.

I thought about what to do.

Raven: I'll be going. I'll be back in a bit.

Vernal: If you don't mind me asking, where are you going?

Raven: ...Scouting the area for Grimm.

Vernal nodded at me and I walked out of my tent. I turned into a raven bird and flew into the sky. I'm heading towards the direction I saw those two running. After a bit of flying, I saw the two. I landed on a tree branch and watched them.

Daniel: Do you have a girlfriend?

(Y/N): No.

Hearing that he is single makes my feel relieved for some reason.

Daniel: I've never seen you interested in girls. It's ok to tell me if you... swing the other way.

(Y/N): You think I'm gay?!

Daniel: I won't judge-

Daniel was interrupted by a punch to the face by (Y/N). Daniel fell to the floor and (Y/N) started to crack his knuckles.

(Y/N): You want to say that again?

Daniel: Dude, I'm sorry! I don't think you're gay!

(Y/N): Yeah, that's what I thought.

I felt joy seeing Daniel getting punched in the face.

(Y/N): Get up.

Daniel: ...Fine.

He got up and they started to walk again. They walked near the tree I'm standing on. (Y/N) looked up and noticed me in my bird form.

(Y/N): Huh. A raven.

Daniel: Neat. I never seen one this close before.

I just stared at them.

Daniel: It's kinda creepy, it just staring at us like that.

(Y/N): I heard that they are an omen of death.

Daniel: Wait, really?!

(Y/N): I'm just playing with you. It's crows that are an omen of death.

I flew down to them and landed on (Y/N)'s shoulder.

Daniel: Woah. The raven must really like you.

I started to caw at Daniel. Good thing I can't blush in my bird form.

Daniel: I guess it didn't like me saying that.

(Y/N): Weird. This is the first time I saw a raven down this path and the first time a bird decided to stay on my shoulder.

He raised his hand at me and rubbed my head. He is gentle and it feels oddly nice.

(Y/N): We should get back on track.

Daniel: Alright. It is starting to get dark.

(Y/N): You want to come with us for a bit?

He said to me. I cawed once.

(Y/N): I'll take that as a yes.

They started to walk again.

Daniel: Jokes aside, why don't you have a girlfriend?

(Y/N): I can't find a woman that I like.

Daniel: Really? What do you look for in a woman?

(Y/N): Well, I want one that's strong so I don't have to worry about protecting her from Grimm.

I'm strong and can protect myself. Stop it Raven, why are you saying that?

Daniel: I get that feeling.

(Y/N): You do because I have to protect you from Grimm.

Daniel: That was only a few times.

(Y/N): A few times too many.

Daniel: Shut up.

They continued to walk. They made it to the end of the forest and there is a small village. I guess this is where they live.

Daniel: I'll talk to you later (Y/N).

(Y/N): See you later Daniel.

Daniel turned to the left and walked away.

(Y/N): What about you? Do you have somewhere to be?

He turned to me. I just cawed at him and flew off his shoulder.

(Y/N): I hope to see you again. I wouldn't mind having a pet raven.

I cawed at him again. Like I'm just some pet. I flew away from him and back to my tribe.

(Time skip) (Readers POV)

I'm walking the same path I did yesterday. Daniel couldn't come, saying he is trying his bad boy style to get girls.

(Y/N): If only he tried being himself, he might have a chance of getting a girlfriend.

I heard a caw. I looked up and saw a raven. I knew that it's the same one from yesterday. It landed on my shoulder.

(Y/N): Hey there little bud. Did you miss me?

It just cawed at me again, like it's mad I said that. I started to rub its head and it calmed down.

(Y/N): I guess you like this, huh?

I stopped rubbing it's head and started to walk again.

(Y/N): It's good that I do have some company. I hope that woman from yesterday doesn't show up. I'm not in the mood to fight.

(Raven's POV)

He's not in the mood to fight? Why? And why do I want to know? It's weird that I care for him all of a sudden.

(Y/N): It's funny, I make fun of Daniel for him not getting a girlfriend when I can't either.

He looked at the ground and kicked some dirt.

(Y/N): Maybe you could help me little bud?

I might as well help him. Vernal is leading the tribe right now and I have some free time. I cawed.

(Y/N): I'll take that as a yes.

He turned around and started to walk.

(Y/N): I heard ravens can actually talk.

They can? I never tried talking before in my bird form. I'll have to try later.

(Time skip)

(Y/N) walked into a bar in the village he lives in.

(Y/N): Let's hope that Daniel isn't here.

He looked around the bar and looked at a girl sitting by herself drinking. He walked up to her.

(Y/N): Is that seat open?

She looked up at him.

Woman: It's free. You can sit if you want.

He sat down next to her.

Woman: Is that raven your pet?

(Y/N): Yeah.

I got mad. I'm not a pet! I started to caw in anger.

Woman: It sure is feisty.

(Y/N): It's friendly, I hope.

He whispered the last part.

Woman: You seem like a fun guy to hang around.

She reached for her pocket and pulled out a piece of paper with numbers on it.

Woman: I have to go, but you can call me later.

(Y/N): Alright. Talk to you soon.

The lady got up and walked out the bar.

(Y/N): That was easy. You really helped me little bud. I never got a lady's number that fast.

Now I feel... jealous. Jealous that he wants another girl and not me. I flew off his shoulder and flew out of the bar. I followed the woman from a distance. She walked into the woods, perfect. I turned into my human form and put my mask on. I landed on the ground, getting her attention.

Woman: Who are you?

I grabbed my sword and slashed at her. She spat out blood and it got on my blade.

Raven: Great, now I need to get my sword clean.

I cut her arms and legs off. I saw some Grimm slowly walking up to the body. They picked her up with their mouths and fled.

Raven: Good.

I sheathed my sword and sighed.

Raven: I think I know why I feel like this now. I... really like (Y/N). Great Raven, now you're sounding like a school girl.

I turned back into a raven and flew back into the village. I saw (Y/N) talking to Daniel.

(Y/N): Any luck finding a girl with your "bad boy" persona?

Daniel: No, sadly. All I got were smacks to the face.

I flew down and landed back on (Y/N)'s shoulder.

Daniel: Hey, it's the raven from yesterday.

(Y/N): There you are. You just flew away without saying goodbye.

I flew in front of his face and cawed.

Daniel: I think it wants to show you something.

(Y/N): Really? If that's the case, then lead the way little bud.

I flew towards the forest and they followed me. After a bit, we reached the woods.

Daniel: I wonder what it wants to show you.

I flew around and went up. I transformed into my human form and landed in front of them.

Daniel: Hey! It's the girl that wanted you dead!

I took off my mask and looked at them.

Daniel: Damn! She's hot!

(Y/N): So you were the raven this whole time?

Raven: I was.

(Y/N): Well, thanks for the help. What's your name?

I walked up to him and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. I slammed my lips on his. I pulled away and smirked at him.

Raven: My name is Raven, but you can call me whatever you want.~

Daniel: This is so unfair! You get a girl that is smoking hot and wanted you dead! I can't even get a girl's number!

(Y/N): Daniel's right. I thought you wanted me dead for killing your men.

Raven: It's fine. We can make more later.~

(Y/N): I won't say no to that offer.

Raven: See you later Daniel. Me and (Y/N) have some business to do back at my tribe.

I grabbed (Y/N)'s arm and started to lead him to where my tribe is.

Raven: You are not going to be forgetting tonight.
