(Readers POV)

I was out at the docks with my friends team RWBY. It was pretty boring out here.

(Y/N): So why did you guys drag me here again?

Yang: Weiss wants to see the competition for the Vytal Festival Tournament that is coming up.

Weiss: I just want to make sure that they get a proper introduction to Beacon Academy.

I sighed and started to walk away.

Ruby: Where are you going?

(Y/N): I'm going to be looking around. Tell me when you find something interesting.

I walked down the street and was looking around. There was people walking around. Nothing really special. I turned the corner and bumped into someone. I fell on my butt and groaned.

(Y/N): I'm sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going.

I got up from the ground. I saw who I bumped into. It was a girl with short orange hair. I helped her up.

Penny: It's alright. It was me who should have been watching. Salutations, my name is Penny.

(Y/N): My name is (Y/N).

I got a notification on my scroll. It was from Ruby. She said that they need me for something.

(Y/N): Well Penny my friend, I need to go now. It was nice talking to you.

I turned around and started to walk away.

(Y/N): She was a nice girl. A little strange, but I can't really judge her. I only talked to her for not even a minute.

I was responding to Ruby's text. I put away my scroll and stopped in my tracks. Penny was somehow in front of me.

Penny: What did you say?

(Y/N): What? Weren't you just back there?

Penny: You called me friend. Am I really your friend?

She sounded really excited when she asked that question. Has this girl never had a friend before? Might as well make her day then.

(Y/N): You are my friend.

She got really excited and hugged me tightly.

Penny: I made a friend today!

(Y/N): Am I your first friend or something?

Penny: Yes!

Well that's kinda sad. How can a girl like her never had a friend for all her life?

(Y/N): You can let go now.

She looked at me then realized that she was still hugging me. She let go of me and bowed.

Penny: I'm sorry. I just get excited easily.

(Y/N): I can tell.

I looked ahead to see team RWBY walking towards us.

Penny: Who are they?

(Y/N): Those are my friends.

(Penny's POV)

I got a weird feeling when (Y/N) said that those girls are his friends. I think this feeling is jealousy.

Yang: Hey (Y/N). Who is she?

The blonde girl pointed at me.

(Y/N): Hey guys. This is Penny.

Penny: Salutations.

(Y/N): Penny. They are Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang. They form team RWBY.

Penny: It is very nice to meet you all.

I extended my hand for a hand shake. Ruby accepted it. She let go and started to talk to (Y/N).

Ruby: Did you see a monkey Faunus rum down here?

(Y/N): No. I was talking to Penny.

Ruby: Alright then. We should be going now.

(Y/N): Let's get going then.

They all started to walk away. I started to follow them. (Y/N) turned around and saw that I was walking with them.

(Y/N): Penny, we are going back to Beacon. You don't have to follow us.

Penny: Oh, ok.

I turned around and walked the other direction. I thought about (Y/N). He is my very first friend. I started to feel a new feeling. It was a tingly feeling in my stomach.

Penny: Is this what they call love?

I only got this feeling when I thought about (Y/N). I don't think he would love me back though. I'm a robot. He would probably want a real girl. I started to feel sad.

(Time skip)

I was running away from Ruby. I was scared that she would find out that I'm a robot. I was running through alleyways. I ran out and into the road. A truck was about to hit me. I put my hands up and stopped it. I looked at the driver.

Penny: Are you ok?

He just gave me a nod. I looked down at my hands and saw that part of my skin scratched off, showing some metal parts. Everyone was looking at the scene I made. I was getting more scared and started to run again. I ran into another alleyway, but it was a dead end.

Ruby: Penny! Why are you running?

She ran up to me. I turned around.

Penny: You wouldn't understand.

Ruby: Then let me try.

I took a deep breath. I turned around and showed her my hands.

Penny: I'm not a real girl.

Ruby: Oh.

She looked kinda shocked.

Ruby: Who cares?

I looked up at her confused.

Penny: What?

Ruby: Who cares that you have metal bits instead of fleshy bits?

Penny: You are taking this surprisingly well.

Ruby: Just because you are a robot, doesn't make you less human then me.

Penny: Really?

Ruby: Yes. You can use aura. That makes you pretty human in my book.

Penny: Thank you Ruby. Can I ask you something?

Ruby: Sure, what is it?

Penny: There is this boy that I like, but I'm worried that he won't like me because I'm a robot.

Ruby: You shouldn't worry about that. If you just tell him how you feel, I'm sure he will accept your feelings.

I started to feel happy.

Penny: Thank you Ruby.

Ruby: Who's the boy?

Penny: That is confidential information.

Ruby giggled at my response.

Ruby: I should be going now. See you later.

Penny: Good bye.

Ruby dashed away and left. I looked down at my hands.

Penny: I need to get repaired and I can tell (Y/N) how I feel.

(Time skip) (Readers POV)

I was walking around Beacon absentmindedly. I was pretty bored and had nothing to do. There was that dance coming up, but I didn't ask anyone to go with yet. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Penny.

(Y/N): Hey Penny.

Penny: Salutations (Y/N). How have you been?

(Y/N): I have been pretty good lately.

Penny: That is great to hear.

(Y/N): How have you been?

Penny: I have been great. Thank you for asking.

(Y/N): Are you going to the dance that's happening this Saturday?

Penny: I am. I was wondering if you wanted to go to the dance with me.

I'm actually getting asked out!? Sure it's for a dance and she's probably just being friendly, but still.

(Y/N): Sure. I'd like to go with you to the dance.

Penny started to jump up and down in excitement. She wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug.

Penny: That makes me happy!

Her hug was getting really tight. She is surprisingly strong.

(Y/N): You can let go of me now. You're hugging me too tightly.

She quickly let go and apologized. I told it that it was fine.

(Y/N): I guess I'll see you Saturday.

Penny: I'll see you at Saturday too.

(Time skip)

I was at the dance. I was standing next to Penny, who was wearing a simple white dress.

(Y/N): Hey Penny?

Penny: Yes?

(Y/N): Do Atlas soldiers have to stand with us?

There are two Atlas soldiers guarding us.

Penny: They have to. My dad is very protective about me.

(Penny's POV)

Penny: (Y/N). May you get me some punch?

(Y/N): Yeah, sure.

He walked off to the bunch bowl. I started to celebrate with myself. My plan is going just as planned. He came back and handed me a cup.

(Y/N): Here you go.

Penny: Thank you.

I heard that everyone started to laugh. Me and (Y/N) looked over to see one of the boys in a dress. I wonder why he would wear that. Everyone was distracted. I reached for my pocket and pulled out a pill. If I did my research correctly, this should make (Y/N)'s mind more "controllable." I put the pill in and it dissolved in the drink. I tapped (Y/N) on the shoulder to get his attention.

Penny: You can have this drink.

(Y/N): Didn't you want the drink?

Penny: I'm not thirst anymore.

He just looked at me and sighed.

(Y/N): Alright then.

He grabbed the drink from my hand and drank it all quickly.

(Y/N): Thanks for the drink.

Penny: You're welcome.

His eyes started to get hazy. He looked at the cup.

(Y/N): Was something wrong with the drink?

Penny: Nope.

I hiccuped. He looked at me slowly. I think I put too much in his drink.

Penny: Are you ok?

(Y/N): I think I need to go to my dorm room.

Penny: Let me help you.

He leaned in my shoulder. I walked him out of the room and we walked down the dorm room hallways. He pointed which direction for me to go.

(Y/N): Here it is.

He said with a slight slur. I opened it and the room was empty.

(Y/N): Aw man. My team isn't here.

I walked him to his bed and laid him down.

(Y/N): Are you going to be leaving too?

Penny: No. I will stay with you.

He started to cheer softly.

Penny: How are you feeling?

(Y/N): I'm feeling great right now. Especially that you're here.

I blushed. Is that him saying that or the drug? I smiled at him.

Penny: Do you like me?

(Y/N): Yeah, of course.

Penny: Do you love me?

(Y/N): Yeah.

Penny: Will you be my boyfriend?

(Y/N): I'd like to.

I started to get excited. I placed my lips on his and kissed him. He melted into the kiss. I broke the kiss and looked at him in the eyes.

(Y/N): That felt nice.

Penny: I'm glad it did.

He wrapped his arms around me and got me in his bed. He rested his head on my shoulder and fell asleep. I snuggled into him.

Penny: I finally have you. All to myself. I feel... accomplished.

I kissed him again and I closed my eyes. He is now mine forever.
