(Readers POV)

I'm walking through a snowy forest, making my way to Argus. It's starting to get cold. I held onto my cloak tightly and put my hood on, hiding my face.

(Y/N): I should be close by now. It feels like I've been walking for hours.

I heard the sound of an engine behind me. I looked back and saw a motorcycle, with a trailer attached to it, driving my way. The motorcycle stopped right by me. Everyone looked very panicked. I noticed an old lady laying down on the trailer and she's bleeding.

Yang: Can you help us?!

(Y/N): What happened?

Ruby: We were running away from some Grimm and Maria got injured badly.

(Y/N): Calm down. I can help.

I walked over to the trailer and went up to Maria. I held my hand out and several different colored orbs appeared.

Qrow: Magic?

Maria got surrounded by a light. She started to float slightly. Her figure started to grow in size. Her arms and legs growing longer. She safely floated back down into the trailer. The light around her disappeared, revealing that she became a young woman. She's currently passed out.

(Y/N): There. She's healed now.

Ruby: Thank you so much.

(Y/N): It's no problem. If you don't mind me asking, where are you all going?

Weiss: We are heading to Argus right now.

(Y/N): Oh, really? That's where I'm heading to. Mind if I join you?

Qrow: Sure. Doesn't hurt to have one more person with us.

(Y/N): Thank you all very much.

I got on the trailer and sat down. I got to know everyone's names. They do seem like nice people. Yang started to drive her motorcycle again. Everyone went quiet. I can feel some tension in the air. I think they figured out something that they didn't want to.

Qrow: You.

I looked at Qrow.

(Y/N): Yes?

Qrow: How are you able to use magic?

(Y/N): You're curious about my powers?

Blake: People... Shouldn't be able to use magic anymore.

(Y/N): People of today aren't able to.

Weiss: Do you really think we believe that you're that old?

Oscar: Just who are you?

I pulled my hood down further, but I can still feel the stares I'm getting. I heard Maria groan.

(Y/N): She's waking up.

(Maria's POV)

I slowly opened my eyes, seeing everything in the usual cyan tint. I saw the tops of trees moving, meaning I'm on something moving.

Maria: Where am I?

My voice sounds a little different. I saw a man with a cloak I never seen before.

Maria: Who are you?

(Y/N): Heh... I guess I forgot to tell you all my name. My name is (Y/N). It's very nice to meet you all.

He looked at me. I can't see much of his face, but I saw him smile at me.

(Y/N): You don't need those Atlas goggles anymore.

Maria: What do you mean? I need these to see! I'm not a gullible old lady!

(Y/N): You're not an old lady.

He reached over and grabbed my goggles. He pulled them off. I looked around and I saw everything in color.

Maria: What the fu-

(Y/N): I'm sure it's confusing, but I fixed all your injuries.

I checked my body and I'm young again! Is this some kind of dream? I need a change of clothes. These are a bit tight now. I looked around some more. It's been forever since I could see the world like this. I heard a scroll go off.

Ruby: Hello?

Jaune: Ruby?! I'm so glad you answered! We're at Argus right now!

(Y/N): That must mean we're close.

(Time Skip)

I met up with more of Ruby's friends. I'm at one of their sister's house. I'm sitting in the backyard, taking in the sight. I also got some clothes that fit me better.

Maria: It's hard to believe this is happening now.

I heard a door open. I looked over and saw (Y/N) walking out of the house.

(Y/N): I've been looking for you.

Maria: You... Have?

He nodded at me. He walked up to me and sat down next to me.

(Y/N): I want to know how you're taking things?

Maria: It's been... Interesting. I'm still recovering from shock.

I looked at him and I pulled his hood off. His hair slightly moving with the wind.

(Y/N): Why did you do that?

Maria: I want to see the face of the person who gave me back my youth.

I looked into his eyes. They glisten because of the sunlight. It's beautiful.

Maria: How? How did you do this to me?

(Y/N) gave me a small smile. He lifted his hand and orbs of different colors appeared. They started to spin. I can't help but get a little mesmerized by the orbs.

(Y/N): It's easy. Magic.

Maria: Magic? I thought people couldn't do stuff like that anymore.

(Y/N) sighed and looked at me.

(Y/N): They can't. But I'm part of people that could use magic. I'm one of the few last remaining people who can. Some people would use this kind of power for evil, but I knew what I could really do. I go all around Remnant, helping anyone I can.

Maria: Well... I don't know how to repay you. You gave me a gift.

He just chuckled.

(Y/N): The fact that you're grateful is more than enough repayment for me. I'm happy to see people like you happy.

He's happy to see me happy? I felt my heart start to beat faster.

Maria: How are you even alive?

(Y/N): To be honest... I wish I knew.

(Y/N) stood up and walked to the back door of the house.

(Y/N): I'll have to be leaving now.

He's leaving?! I... Don't want him to. I got up and walked up to him. I got the courage and put my hand on his shoulder.

Maria: You can't go yet.

(Y/N): Everyone I help tells me that.

He smiled at me and placed his hand on my shoulder.

(Y/N): I know you want me to stay, but I have more people to help. I'm sure we're fated to cross paths someday.

He walked into the house. I just stayed behind.

Maria: But...

I clenched my hands into fists. He said he's happy to see me happy. He doesn't need anyone else's happiness. He only needs mine!

Maria: I'll find you. No matter what. When I find you, I'll be happy and you'll be happy too. And I'll never let you go.

(Time Skip) (Readers POV)

It's been a day since I helped Maria. I've been helping people around Argus. I walked out a store and looked around.

(Y/N): Looks like my work here is done.

I started to walk to the forest nearby Argus. I made it into the forest and looked around.

(Y/N): I should probably get a motorcycle like Yang. It certainly would make travel easier.

I saw a few Grimm nearby me. I used some of my magic and blew them away.

(Y/N): You all cause too much trouble.

They recovered and tried to rush me. I was about to attack them again, but an airship landed on top of the Grimm, killing them.

(Y/N): What is this?

A side door opened and I saw Ruby and her friends.

Ruby: We need your help!

I got into the airship and it went to the sky.

(Y/N): May I ask what is happening?

Ruby: There is this huge Grimm trying to attack Argus!

I looked out a window and did see a ginormous Grimm in the water, shooting out fire from its mouth.

(Y/N): How can I help?

Yang: Just shoot at it.

The side door opened. I made some magic orbs and fired them at the Grimm. The orbs hit the Grimm, but it didn't do much.

Ruby: Weiss!

I looked over and Weiss summoned a big white hornet. Ruby jumped on it and went towards the Grimm.

(Y/N): Oh, I see. She's going to use the silver eyes.

I went to the front of the ship and saw Maria piloting the ship. She's looking out of the window and her silver eyes look dulled.

(Y/N): I didn't know you could fly this machine.

She looked at me and gave me a smile full of life. Her eyes shined when she looked at me.

Maria: I'm happy to see you again. I'd like to talk, but I have a ship to pilot.

I just nodded my head and sat down in the seat next to her. I looked out the window and saw the Grimm turned to stone.

(Y/N): Ruby sure can use her eyes well.

Maria: I could've done that.

I could hear a bit of jealousy in her voice.

(Y/N): Well... I don't doubt that. Did you teach her how to use her eyes?

Maria: I did tell her the basics.

I stayed silent and looked out the window. I saw the white hornet Ruby is on is about to disappear.

(Y/N): Maria, you need to go get Ruby!

Maria: I know, I know.

She flew the airship down over to Ruby and the the side door opened. I looked and Ruby fell inside. I gave a sigh of relief.

(Y/N): That was close.

I noticed Maria stayed quite.

(Y/N): So... Where are you all going after this?

Maria: We are heading off to Atlas. Do you want to join?

I shook my head no.

(Y/N): No thanks, but I appreciate the offer.

Maria just nodded her head.

Maria: Then I'll drop you off where I picked you up.

(Y/N): Thank you.

I waited for a minute and Maria landed the airship. I got up and jumped off. The airship took off and I waved at it. I took a deep breath and started to walk through the forest.

(Y/N): That went well.

I just hope there isn't anymore of those big Grimm near Argus. I heard a crashing noise. I looked around, but didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

(Y/N): Weird. Must be hearing things.

I continued to walk. I heard footsteps behind me. Before I could turn around, someone grabbed my cloak.

(Y/N): Do you need any help?

Maria: I do need something...

I looked back and saw Maria standing there. I got confused. Shouldn't she be piloting that airship and heading to Atlas? Maria put a skull mask on her face.

(Y/N): Oh... What do you need?

Maria: You. I need you.

She got out her cane and hit me on the head with hit. I got knocked to the ground.

(Y/N): Ow! What was that for?!

Maria: I'm going to take you... And we can be happy together!

I shot out some magic orbs. Maria dodged them. I used some magic and teleported behind her. I made a sword and swung at her. She somehow grabbed the blade without turning around.

(Y/N): What?!

Maria: You're mine.

She grabbed my arm and broke it. Maria slammed me into the ground. I tried to get up, but Maria put her foot on my chest and kept me down.

(Y/N): How?

Maria: I have really good reflexes.

She swung her cane at my face and I lost conciseness on impact.

(Years Later) (Maria's POV)

I walked around the wooden cabin I call home. I walked to a door and was about to open it. I looked over and saw my five year old son looking at me.

Maria: Hey sweetie. Is there something you need?

(S/N): When is daddy going to come out?

Maria: I think today is that special day.

His silver eyes went wide in excitement.

(S/N): Yeah! Daddy is going to come out his room!

Maria: Now go and play with your sister in the meantime.

He nodded at me and ran off.

Maria: Time to see how he's doing.

I opened the door and walked into the room. I saw my husband, (Y/N), tied up to a chair. He's asleep right now. I walked up to him and put my hand on his face.

Maria: It's time to get up, sleepyhead.

He slowly opened his eyes and looked at me.

(Y/N): H-Hey.

Maria: I think it's about time that you get out of those restraints.

He gave me a look that was hopeful, but I can tell he is doubtful too.

(Y/N): Really?

Maria: On one condition. You don't leave me and you don't leave your children.

(Y/N): I'll accept any condition.

I smiled at him.

Maria: Good to hear.

I untied (Y/N) from the chair and grabbed his hand. I led him outside the room. We walked to the living room and we saw our son and daughter. (Y/N) walked up to them and hugged them both.

(Y/N): I love you both.

(D/N) and (S/N): We love you too daddy!

I smiled to myself. I walked up and joined the group hug. I gave (Y/N) a kiss.

Maria: You know I did all this because I love you, right?

He stayed silent for a second. (Y/N) looked at me and smiled.

(Y/N): I know.

The hug broke and the kids went outside. I held (Y/N)'s hand and pulled him close to me.

Maria: Are you happy?

(Y/N): I'm... Happy that you're happy.

Maria: That's sweet of you to say.

I gave (Y/N) another kiss.

Maria: You know... The kids really want a younger sibling. We can try tonight if you want.

(Y/N): That's fine.

Maria: Good. They'll be so excited to get another brother or sister.

I can't wait to make a big family with (Y/N). And with his magic, we'll live forever. I couldn't ask for a better fate.
